14 mutilated bodies found in Tamaulipas

El Diario. 6-23-2012.  A total of 14 mutilated bodies were found in an abandoned truck in the parking lot of a shopping center in Mante City, in the northern state of Tamaulitpas, reported state authorities.

A source with the state attorney general's office reported that 14 bodies with a narco message were found this morning at 9:00 a.m., local time,  in the parking lot of a supermarket store in the center of this municipality. The source stated that municipal employees were the ones who discovered the abandoned truck.  The source stated that the mutilated bodies were of 10 men and 4 women, with a message directed at the Gulf Cartel.

This is the second time in less than a month that dismembered bodies have been left in the center of this municipality, because last June 7, (2012) 14 bodies were left in front of the city hall in a pickup truck with a message directed at the opposing cartel, the Zetas.

Meanwhile, yesterday in Ciudad Victoria, capital of Tamaulipas, there were attacks with explosives at several locations in the city, with a total of 8 civilians injured.

  7. "con un mensaje dirigido al cártel del Golfo, por lo que se cree que los asesinos sean de la organización criminal Los Zetas"

Doesn't that mean "a message directed at CDG, and therefore it is believed the assassins were Zetas"?

  10. I bet that out of the 14 that were killed, very few of them (and maybe none of them) were members of Los Zetas or of an organized crime group.

    1. Yeah yeah. Everyone that gets killed are "innocents" yet the rival cartel still gains territory. Yeah that makes sense.

  11. these "just another day in ...." comments are getting fucking tedious.

These bodies were probably innocents also killed just to be made to look like Narco's.

  16. You don't need the slaughter of inocent victims and mantas to 'send a message' to your rival cartel. Simply find and retaliate against the highest ranking member of their cartel and they will get the message. If one cartel could get a rival who is on the top ten list, they could claim to be powerful and collect the reward. As long as they keep killIng random people by the dozen, I can only view them as ignorant cowards.

  18. Yes totally agree with 9:53 PM

If they are killing innocents it just shows they have no backbone to really step up and take on proper enemy gunmen. For them its a copout to just murder innocents then point the finger at them and call them Zeta's etc this shows how inexperienced and unprofessional they all are also as any proper army is trained and has the determination of facing armed troops ingrained on them before they go into battle to fight like men. They know the risks they are trained to have balls and confidence in what they do as a unit. These coked up scum have barely a knowledge of how to operate a rifle let alone have the guts to take on rival gunmen.

I really hope this does not go on too long as neither side seems to have the guts to actually confront each other knowing the risk of death.

Yeh its just so badass and tough murdering an unarmed innocent man or woman when 20 plus narco lowlives have their guns pointed at them.

    Brave stuff.

  19. Why aren't the messages being released anymore, I don't know what purpose it serves to keep the info secret. Even before sometimes they wouldn't release them, but we would see the photos from the scene, and read them ourselves. Frustrating. R1 has been MIA for awhile now.
