Security Chief Fired after Apodaca Prison Riot- Lazca and Z40 Leave Manta

Manta Text Translated:
"GENERAL NOTICE TO THE PEOPLE OF MEXICO. NUEVO LEON IS ZETA TERRITORY AND WE DEMONSTRATE OUR POWER WITH FACTS, EVEN IF RODRIGO MEDINA DOESN'T LIKE IT, HE WILL HAVE TO OBEY BECAUSE WE SUPPORTED HIM TO BECAME A GOVERNOR. DID YOU THINK THAT THE 20 MILLION DOLLARS GIVING TO HIM BY LIC MANUEL QUINONES BROTHER IN LAW OF FACSI ZUAZUA FOR HIS CAMPAIGN WERE JUST FOR FREE?. DID YOU THINK WE WILL NOT GET SOMETHING IN RETURN FOR WHAT WE PAID TO RODRIGO THROUGH AGUSTÍN SERNA DE LA CROC?. THAT'S WHY I DO WHATEVER I WANT IN NUEVO LEON BECAUSE IT BELONG TO ME,
I RELEASE WHOEVER I WANT FROM PRISON AND THE SAME WAY I KILL THE ENEMY CDG. ACCEPT IT THE ONLY THING THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF CALDERON  AND THE NEXT PRESIDENT CAN DO IS TO COME TO AN AGREEMENT WHIT US BECAUSE IF THEY DON'T WE WILL OVERTHROW THE GOVERNMENT AND WE WILL TAKE THE POWER BY FORCE THE SAME WAY WE HAVE BEEN DOING IT TILL NOW, HAVEN'T YOU PEOPLE NOTICED YOU CAN'T DEFEAT US, NOT EVEN WHIT THE SUPPORT OR THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES (ICE, ATF, FBI, DEA) MUCH LESS WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE NAVY, ARMY, AFI, SIEDO, PGR, HERE THE ZETAS ARE THE ONES WITH THE POWER.
ATTE: HERIBERTO LAZCANO and MIGUEL TREVIÑO MORALES Z40.

The security chief of a Mexican state where 44 prison inmates were massacred last week was fired on Friday by the state's governor.
Nuevo Leon Governor Rodrigo Medina said public safety secretary General Jaime Castaneda has been fired and replaced by General Javier del Real.

Medina also said that federal agents will help patrol around state prisons and aid with prison searches and raids whenever necessary.

Last week, 44 prisoners who belonged to the Gulf drug cartel were bludgeoned and stabbed to death by inmates from the rival Zetas cartel inside the Apodaca state prison. Authorities said the inmates were killed amid an escape by 30 members of the Zetas cartel.

Later Friday, gunmen carjacked two buses and a small car and blocked some major avenues in the city of Monterrey, capital of Nuevo Leon state. They also left several threatening messages near the blockades.

A state police investigator who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation said the message threatened a drug cartel and was signed by its rival. He wouldn't release any other details.

Fighting between the Zetas and Gulf drug cartels has brought a surge of violence and other crimes to the Monterrey region, which is Mexico's third largest. The former allies split off in 2010.

More than 2 000 people were killed in the state, across the border from Texas, last year. Most of them in Monterrey and its metropolitan area.

  1. I think that is a bunch of bullshit, everyone knows that in Zacatecas Ivan Velazquez Caballero aka El Taliban snitch on Lazcano's cousin by order of Miguel Trevino aka z40. Miguel Trevino and El Taliban are both from Nuevo Laredo and have been close friends since elementary school. Next they are going to snitch on Heriberto Lazcano.

  2. I honestly don't believe Los Zetas are the ones responsible for that narcobanner, as much as I hate Los Zetas I don't think they will be stupid enough to call on the government just like that. We all know they don't go face to face with SEDENA, and when they do fight whit the marines it is mostly them the ones who get killed. The majority of the power the Zetas have is trough corruption and we all know they don't have the muscle to fight against the military and federal forces.

  3. No way this banner is legit, it actually hurts Zetas to announce who they've bribed and taunt the government & army. A similar earlier one attributed to Z-40 quickly drew a response banner saying it was a lie.

  4. Have the ZETAS formed a political wing yet?

  5. These guys literally believe that they run the country. Lazca and z40 are almost at the point where Tony Montana kills Alberto the Shadow. Thus putting Sosa into a rage and ordering the Skull to kill Montana. The plot has been set. Thus guys are about to get bigger then they are.

It's impossible to take the Zetas Monterrey plaza for 3 reasons.1)The Zetas are waaay to many in Nuevo Leon specialy the Metropolitan area of Nuevo Leon,2)Zetas control the jail system in Nuevo Leon,3)Guess......

What happend to they guys putting the fake mantas in Vicotria, saying that the Zetas were daring the Mexican Goverment and the US Goverment. They got hanged by the Zetas remember that video.........

    1. Remember it could be the truth. Remember the banner the zetas left in nuevo laredo with some guy last name was peña dead beside the banner to tell his brother to return the money he took.and at the end we found out that it was true. The brother was hiding in san antonio

    2. It is true, Tono Pena snitched on Manuel Cavazos Lerma, Eugenio Hernandez and Tomas Yarrington Ruvalcaba all former governors of Tamaulipas, Mexico, They gave the Pena brothers 5 million US dollars to pay Rodolfo Torre Cantu the Tamaulipas to be next governor, but the Penas pocketed the money, and eventually Rodolfo Torre Cantu and Alfonos Pena aka El Poton Pena were executed and Tono Pena arrested in San Antonio, Tx by the DEA and FBI. The Pena brothers were involved in everything bad that happened Nuevo Laredo and they were almost untouchable, they were doing the same thing the cartels are doing now. They deserved what happened to them.

  11. Nowadays, many sicarios & the rank and file are in fact forced into the business.
The gangs are desperate for members and are conscripting anyone they can lay their hands on!
Therefore, these members really didn't have much choice!
Perhaps, because of this, these hapless people may even be poorly treated.
It is therefore right that the government go all out to decimate all the top leadership in order to crush the gangs; killing the lower ranks may not be the way to go.
Arming and training the locals as some sort of home guards to fight the drug gangs would also be a positive move.

You know CA and SA people have always thought Mexicans to be arrogant and presumptuous. Why would anyone go to Mexico anymore? It's not safe, prices are high and everyone is looking to rip you off. The police are useless, so is the Army. Dead bodies all over the place everyday. Might as well be fucking Somalia.

  14. Dont know who placed this banner up but I know dam well they r DEAD WRONG when they wrote that they cant b defeated by the US government. Everyone knows if the US gets permission by Mexico, all them Zetas will b wiped out within 6 months. We will send Marines, Navy, Army, Air force, etc..AND IT WILL B GAME OVER FOR THEM CARTELS

  16. 6:53 PM I guess you mean like they wiped out the Taliban (lol). What fantasy world do you live in? Without a truce, like it or not, the Z will own Mexico in 3 years. Our troupes accomplished very little in 10 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. We left and it will be worse there. Why do you think they would do better in Mexico where then is many more criminal, more money behind them, and their government secretly is behind the cartels?

Unfortunately for the mexican people the american public in general could care less! smh..

  24. Trillions of $$$ and the mightiest set of armaments and the US military can't defeat a ragtag bunch of taliban using ak47 and rocket propelled grenades.
American soldiers are the most pampered fighting force in history. Internet, hot meals, warm barracks(for the most part) beer and movies.
Try a few weeks in Stalingrad or Vimey Ridge and it would take some of the hubris from their character.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Who cares who wrote it. It is pretty much factual!
All cartel leaders know they must control a safe area for themselves, through bribes and bullets, or they are dead. Seems like the safe area for the zetas leadership is shrinking, so, it is life and death essential to influence the presidential election.

    ReplyDelete
  26. US army couldn't finish the Talibans for so so many years.

How they can finish the Mexican drug cartels I have do idea. They are much better armed than the Talibans.

  27. These jotos really think the FBI and CIA are spending and real time on Mexico? Be careful what you wish for tontinos!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Why does anyone, US or Mexican, think the US has any interest in "helping" anymore than we already are?

Invade? Send US troops? Why? So the US can be blamed for everything?

That has been Mexican politician's favorite game for 200 years. Blame the gringos when they are talking Spanish and take bribes when they are speaking English. Mexico is not our friend or anything close to it. They are just like dealing with muslims - in English they are your friend, your ally, your partner - in Arabic they are plotting your death.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can't believe we always get these comments about how the US would take care of the cartels. What nonsense. Total BS. Iraq is still a disaster and in Afghanistan the Taliban roam the country at will and pretty much control everything outside Kabul. The comments are so ignorant that if you asked anyone in the US military if they want to fight in Mexico, they would readily answer NO! Most of the Mexican population who are not already part of the cartels organizations would join to support them against the gringo invaders. You would end up with the Republic of Zetaland instead of the Republic of Mexico!

    ReplyDelete

  32. February 25, 2012 6:53 PM Well the U.S military haven't destroy the Taliban and al-Qaeda in more than 10 years in Afghanistan. More than 57 countries are participants on this war with more than 436,386 man and women fighting against 120,000 terrorist. Are you sure the U.S military will be able to destroy all the cartels? I'm sorry but I find this real hard for me to believe it.

  38. February 26, 2012 3:58 PM I did a little research and many news papers had the number of the Taliban at about 45,000 and they said 36,000 have been killed. That number was to low for me so I got the number from Wikipedia at 100,000 and I add it 20,000 more. Afghanistan is a country with only 15 million people and 17 billion dollars in production.

You said 22,000 are combat soldiers? I don't know about that, but according to the New York times in early 2012 U.S has 90,000 troops, NATO 130,386, Afghan National Army 170,500 and the rest are from other countries and Afghan police.

    ReplyDelete
