"Mexican Army announces major drug seizure in Coahuila"

10 packages of the drug seizure contained just over 11 kilograms of heroin (24.2 pounds) and 948 packages contained 999 kilograms of methamphetamine (2197.8 pounds)

SEDENA (The National Defense Ministry) announced the seizure 958 packages containing methamphetamine and heroin in the municipality of Castaños in central Coahuila.

The drugs were found inside four underground water cisterns in an area of the state dominated by Los Zetas.

The SEDENA press release stated that the seizure occurred on Friday June 10th when an Army unit on a reconaissance patrol located an area of disturbed soil measuring a diameter of 20 meters two kilometers south of the municipal seat.

Upon further investigation the 24 pounds of heroin and 2198 pounds of methamphetamine were unearthed.

The drugs and the 7.5 hectare plot of land were transferred to the custody of the federal prosecutor in Saltillo.

  1. BB at times reminds me of the old CBS News with Dan Rather Not. It's all like the old kill counts, which come to think of it is still the mainstay of US media 'reporting' on the Pentagon's constant wars.

With BB it is the constant news of some low level thug or another being arrested/ shot down, or bags of cocaine and stocks of weapons supposedly seized. Same thing... Media posing themselves as independent operators yet shilling more as government spokes people for the drug war more than anything else.

    Yawn... is this really 'news'?

'The drugs were found inside four underground water cisterns in an area of the state dominated by Los Zetas (Vietcong). 'Communists', 'terrorists',' drug cartels'.... Yawn. Let's stop buying this bs, OK? It's really all about feeding the grotesque military-industrial-Us government-Pentagon complex... a monster much more grotesque than even the Zetas. ...and certainly a lot greater threat to us all than Zeta low life.

  3. Anything Positive should be headlines across Mexico. I love to hear of dead, arrested, shot up Narcos. When a Mexican Citizen DEFENDS Himself against criminal tyranny I want to personally thank them for being the type of person who deserves freedom. Every time a dirty Cop,Mayor,Military or other is exposed its music. The CIVALIZATION of Mexico is long overdue and needs to proceed, for all of us.So Huray for the Siezure great job NEXT!

  4. Yeah right, Brito, in all you say.... Let's just move on to the next body count of 'narcos', how many piles of coke are seized, how many guns are taken by the Heroic Mexican army backed by the US of A, and how much stacks of dollars are recaptured! I just can't wait for more of this 'news'!

'I love to hear of dead, arrested, shot up Narcos.'... AnonyMoe 12:07

  6. It makes little difference what is confiscated. It is all passed on to the general in charge's cartel of choice and on the way to the US in less than 2 weeks. A few of the generals men will get killed over it by the Zetas. The Military and the favored cartel will chop it up later. Unless. you think that the Mexican Military is all the sudden miraculously not corrupt anymore. Pure heroin and amphetamine are both I would guess worth 40 to 50 grand a kilo wholesale so do the math, 11 kilos of heroin and 999 kilos of meth. Ardent, that is nothing to yawn about. That is some big millions of dollars,

    TRC

  7. It amazes me to see the US all over the world waging multiple wars and 'interventions' of all types, and then come to BB and see all the posters who think that the only issue in the world that somehow has supposedly nothingt o do with the US is Mexico??? What goes through the heads of you American Right Wingers? Nothing?

  9. @ T"ard

if you don't want to see the pictures which are a integral visual supplement to the story ...why don't you hold your food stamp card over them...

and if you don't want to know the results of raids and other operations..why are you even here?

what does it bother you to see a drug load lost by your buddies or something

the more you say ..the less sense you make

  10. Anonymous 11:25 am, I believe that you are right. Especially in the case of 'lito'brito.

And Brito says of I.... 'the more you say ..the less sense you make'

What did I say that makes no sense to you, Brito? That this sort of 'report' counting piles of captured arms and piles of coke and stacks of dollars reminds me of the standard kill counts the Pentagon always likes to dish out about its wars through the Big Government loving, lap dog corporate press? That was too complicated for you to understand? Birto, I'm sorry you have such a low IQ then. We'll try in the future to make it even simpler for you.

low IQ huh..sort of puts you in your place doesn't it ..by the way i so easily confound you ..taunt you ...lead you by the nose ..use you to expand on my topics...and generally dance you around...
and you never even feel the strings
i am Fisher to your novice here urhdent

sometimes i even feel guilty for taking advantage of you..i actually like it better when you are reinforced by anymouses..and of course anonymous comments made by yourself

  12. Brito, I just captured 5, 214 pennies in my piggy bank, 101, 215 sheets on my 7,301 rolls of toilet paper in the house, and swept 10,302 dust bunnies into the trash can.

'if you had a bigger shovel ..you could bury yourself quicker pendejo'

Is my shovel on this news 'report' to you big enough in your learned e-opinion?
