  7. i would like to thank borderland beat for always keeping me informed with mexico's condition. this year was not easy to consume but mexico always provides us with fascinating stories. sometimes shocking, disturbing, sad, frustrating or sometimes heroic, uplifting, and surprising but always provocative and realistic. this year was groundbreaking, in a violent way and unpredictable.

like i said before, mexico is like a beautiful but dangerous woman. she lies to you. cheats on you. she steals from you. but you keep coming back for more.

    @ buela

i look foward to a new year of reading your always revealing and fascinating comments. they are more like paragraphs from a book.

and to the people of mexico, i hope this new year brings much more peace and happiness. becuase the mexican citizens have taken too much already. this is not a normal way of life. this animalistic behavior needs to cease. it has gone on for way too long already. i pray to god that in 2011, the violence will drop. i hope the peoples' strength will grow and i hope they will continue to fight back against both the greedy cartels and the incompetent government.

with that said, it is a time to be positive and hopeful. i wish everyone luck and a prosperous new year.

    peace
