“Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat
The autumn of 2026 is shaping up to be a historic moment. In the 16 years of the CJNG’s existence, it has never been this weak. It possesses the fragility of a vigorous body that suddenly discovers it is suffering from a serious illness: a year ago, it was the most important criminal group in the world, yet within ten months, it is exposing its open wounds.
The year 2026 began well for the "four letters" (CJNG): key figures like "El Limones" (of the Los Cabrera Sarabia faction), "Jaguar" (of Los Mayos), and "Sagitario" (of the Guasave cartel) had recently fallen. The Gulf and Santa Rosa de Lima cartels were also suffering losses. The *Jaliscos*, by contrast, remained robust.
But the year was barely twenty days old when the first spasms of trouble struck: Armando Gómez—the fearsome chief of the CJNG’s "Los Deltas" unit—was handed over to the U.S. in an expedited transfer that also included financial operator María del Rosario Navarro, known as "La Señora."
On February 22, the most violent news arrived: the head was suddenly severed from the body. "Mencho," the supreme leader, was killed in Tapalpa, Jalisco, alongside his bodyguards—including the son of "Tío Lako."
Just 64 days later, Audias Flores—alias "Jardinero," who had been tipped as Mencho’s successor—was arrested. The task of healing the wounded body fell to Nemesio’s stepson, Juan Carlos Valencia, who began the job facing a crushing blow from Washington: a $25 million bounty on his head.
The agony hasn’t ceased since: "Güero Conta," "Checo," "60," "R1," and "Señor de la T" have all been detained. At least 18 regional bosses (*jefes de plaza*) have been taken down. The leadership appears paralyzed: "Tío Lako" is in hiding, as are "Sapo," "Tarjetas," and "Firma." And without Mencho, the cartel loses an armed wing every month. The latest blow came this Monday: "Tanque"—the cartel’s regional boss for Veracruz, Oaxaca, Tabasco, and Puebla—was taken down. He is not merely a founding member of the CJNG but also a wealthy financier of fuel theft (*huachicol*), the cartel’s liaison to the Gulf of Mexico business community, and the alleged head of a corruption network reportedly involving brothers Luis Alberto and Amílcar Olán Aparicio. A political kingpin like few others.
It is a historic autumn: the once-formidable CJNG is weakening before our very eyes.

DeleteLmao .. like they haven't been hiding before all the USA sanctions .. severed ? 03 gave up jardinero amd his crew .. tanque amd R1 ayala was irrelevant as well to 03 that's why no blockades fires attacks. Lol they keep forgetting that the Cuinis including the new generations are deep as hell running shit. CJNG went back to its milenio valencia roots in a way. Then u got La Garra who the gringos seem to have forgotten about. CjNg is still operating in Tijuana Tecate Juarez Reynosa handling the trafficking financial part of those 4 ferocious letters from Jalisco. CJNG IS FAR FROM BEING WEAK.
ReplyDeleteTijuana, Tecate, Juarez, and Reynosa doesn’t belong to CJNG pendejo. Any minute they can lose their visa and work permits, then where would they go. At least the Zetas have Nuevo Leon but your favorite cartel has dick.
Delete@10:50 ..WEAK !!! They don’t control any fucking plaza worth a damn, they have weak cells operating in several states but they are easily wiped out by the local powers. Por favor they don’t even hold any ground in Zacatecas. They’ve been fighting that plaza to get into Durango for almost 10yrs y nunca avanzaron mas aya de nochistlan.. mejor ven pinche alucin y mamamela a mi yo te puedo dar jale de chalan en mi taller si sabes cornetear..en vez de andar mamando a esas jaliskas que ni te quieren chiquita
DeleteIs it me or is CJNG is a mosaad/CIA thing?
ReplyDeleteCJNG in eastern and southern Mexico is made up of old Zeta members that flipped sides. That’s how CJNG grew so big, they recruited from other cartels that were destabilized like Zetas, CT, FM, and BLO.
DeleteLay off the tik tok, israel is not the boogeyman they teach you on there
DeleteWord on the street is that Sicario 006 was an operative agent for mosaad and also worked for the CIA as Special Activities Center ( SAC ) before he joined the CDS cartel!
DeleteAlways with the CIA/Mosaad garbage. Get a grip and turn off Netflix. Why would they be seriously wrapped up with mass raping mass killing drug dealing scum when they have all the juice on the narco politicians in Mexico. That means ALL the Mexican gov!
Delete607 word on the street is that you were raised by two dads.
DeleteIt’s over for CJNG after Mencho got clipped. They’re the most hated cartel under the current administration in Mexico and the government is not going to stop picking them up. They’re the only cartel to post videos trying to scare the opposition and don’t forget, Mayo is the boss of bosses.
ReplyDeleteWord on street is that one of reasons Mayo flaco became so powerful and became the new BOSS of Sinaloa was because EL MAYO personality Sent a letter ✉️ to Sicario 006 to help and rescue his cartel from total annihilation!
DeleteMayo is a fuxking creep who partaked and helped procure underage girls for himself and Chapo
