Sinaloa Cartel Cell Arrested for Mass Killing Last Week in El Bosque, Chiapas

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

One week after eight corpses were left with a threatening narco message outside El Bosque, Chiapas, state authorities have arrested the Sinaloa Cartel cell they claim carried out the killings.

Yesterday, the State Attorney General's Office of Chiapas reported the arrest of nine people, members of a Sinaloa Cartel cell accused as the perpetrators of the mass killing last week. In that event, civilians found eight corpses dumped off the side of Jitotol-La Cumbre federal highway, as reported by Borderland Beat. Narco messages found at the scene accused the victims of being "distributors, manufacturers, and dealers of crystal". Forensic investigators said all victims were killed by gunshot to the head.

Eight bodies left with narco messages on July 7, 2026.

Authorities seized three vehicles, 29 firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, tactical gear, tire spikes, communication radios, drones, cell phones, narcotics, and various documents outlining the criminal cells internal rules. The arrested members told police that were gunmen for the Sinaloa Cartel.

The seized banners showing rules appear to be similar to those found when authorities arrested a Sinaloa Cartel kidnapping cell in Acacoyagua, Chiapas in March 2026. That criminal cell was part of the Los Mayos faction, suggesting this group may also be.

Similar banners found at a Sinaloa Cartel safehouse in Acacoyagua, Chiapas, March 2026.

  4. As long as we can keep this garbage out of the US, I don’t really care what they do in Mexico. It is straight trash anyway.

    1. Don't forget the US opened up their arms to Chapos family waiting at the border with their LV designer bags full of cash and jewelry only to relocate them to one of the most expensive cities to live in the US, and it definitely wasn't bought with old school Italian money or Silicon Valley tech money.

    3. All the brand new unused "equipment", barely arrived from the mexican military surplus store, if it had got there earlier the "captured criminals" would have been dressed for the killing as in Colombia, land of the FALSOS POSITIVOS, blame the Quartermaster and be ready the next time.
