Cartel del Noreste Money Launderer Arrested in Yucatán, $8 Million in Luxury Cars Seized

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

Yesterday, Mexican authorities arrested Justo Aurelio Rivera Parrazales, who they claim is the primary financial operator and money launderer for the Cartel del Noreste. Fifteen luxury vehicles worth more than 8 million dollars were seized.

The arrest aligns with Mexican President's security strategy, which aims to target criminal groups by dismantling mid level operatives and their financial support structures. The operation also follows the April 2026 U.S. Treasury department sanctions against Cartel del Noreste casinos along the Tamaulipas border.

In addition to the arrest of Rivera, the Mexican navy seized 15 high-end vehicles, a safe, two firearms, cartridges, a bag of methamphetamine, cash in dollars, and jewelry in four raids across the city of Mérida, Yucatán.

In February 2025, the Cartel del Noreste was designated as a foreign "terrorist organization" by the U.S. Department of State.

  2. Take their illicit gains in México because when they're expelled they'll just use their crime derived fortune to receive a lesser sentence in the USA justice system. Fuck that. México catches them so they're entitled to gaffle them for their shit!

  6. It is all on the lender's card, the coming US Bankruptcy will take care of that.
The Department Of War Crimes is trying to get 350 billion dollars to tide them through the rest of the year and 1.5 more Trillion dollars for next year, the trump juniors are salivating for their share of the billions along with the rest of trump's black nigger cabinet stock holding Nouveau Billionaire wannabes while Narko Turbio declares the International crime commission null and void and out of limits and his intent of "dismantling it brick by brick", even Al Capone did not overreach like these Jackass International Pirates of War Crime.

  7. Easiest way to draw suspicion and attention to yourself from the authorities is to drive around with a luxury car. Just stupid. This guy is also fat. He had a baggie of meth with him. I thought that stuff made you not eat for days. I guess it had a reverse affect on him. Nuff Said!!!

  10. They drive around in these Porsches and Lamborghinis and no one at the dealership asks them "hey compadre, where did you get all this pinche feria?"

I mean come on, no education, no business paper trail? They need to lockup the dealerships and the owners of the dealership for enabling this bullshit.

  15. Appears to be an independent money launderer serving multiple DTOs. Seen him reported as a financial operator for CJNG and La Barredora, in addition to CDN. Also reported that he was with Chango Mendez’s son when he was killed in Queretaro.

  18. I was just thinking about that, seems crazy using these fragile depreciating assets, but then again the idiots in the drug economy do readily pay for them, the cost of laundering money is high anyway, and the price of the drugs is arbitrary. They're already drawing so much heat that they don't need to care about the appearance of legality, they just need to move assets and documented proof that the movement was legal. Cars move.

  19. Who is the leader of Cartel del Noreste and where they primary located as I constantly hear that this certain cartel is here and there?

  20. That’s a laugh, they pay their people with maruchan sopas! And drag recruits out of their homes and off the streets. Mexicans never prosper because they envy each other and want more of what the other one has. In the end they go back to nothing! No organization has a good ending.
