Two Mexican citizens acting as cocaine brokers for the Sinaloa Cartel were arrested in Medellín, Colombia, during a coordinated operation between Colombian and US authorities on June 19.
The operation was carried out in the Laureles neighborhood by the Colombian Anti-Narcotics Directorate, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Colombian Attorney General's Office.

The two men, identified as the “Pacheco” brothers, are wanted by the Southern District Court of Ohio on charges of international drug trafficking. They are set to be extradited to the U.S.
Authorities say the men are narcotics brokers facilitating contacts and coordinating operations linked to the shipment of cocaine to international markets between the Mexican Sinaloa Cartel and the Clan del Golfo in Colombia.

DeleteIt's been a cocaine boom for awhile globally, if supply gets restricted in Colombia the habits of users are going to change. If Trump smash Cuba, there's some potential for improvement in places like Veracruz and Merida, but it remains to be seen. US forces probably tied up in the gulf until further action after the elections. Trump already said this flippantly, "Cuba on the way back".
