Two Police Officers Gunned Down in Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosi

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

Two Guardia Civil Estatal officers were killed in a torrent of gunfire in the town of Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosi yesterday morning. Authorities surged forces to try and locate the culprits, but were unable to find them.

The two police officers were identified as Alejandro Niño González and Miguel Ángel Sanjuan Aguilar.

Photos of the their vehicle show dozens of bullet holes in from the front and the back. A recording by a local does not show the killing, but the audio captures hundreds of gunshots, some with automatic gunfire.

Local government issued a warning about the presence of armed men to civilians, advising them to stay indoors.

Including this event, three police officers have been slain in San Luis Potosi state this year, according to Causa en Comun, already surpassing the two killed in 2025.

  3. San Luis Potosi has got to be very hard to be a police officer. You have at least five different cartels there fighting for every inch of territory. The police get offered plata o plomo by all the cartels which means money or death. They can't say money to all of them. By comparison in Jalisco all you have is CJNG. Cops don't worry about rival cartels killing them. I would rather sell fruit from a street cart instead of being a cop. Nuff Said!!!

    1. 4:50 the San Luis State Police Academy required you to be a zeta to be admitted, since fox and FECAL were presidents, but the chief of the Public Security of SLP enrique francisco galindo ceballos had to resign because he could not pass examinations, something about lies, stealing money, he got replaced by a Manelich castilla craviotto who sold the state to the CDS for 10 million dollars, this was during the FECALATO.
Peña nieto put galindo ceballos as federal chief of public security and he lost some choppers that got blamed on El mencho, a few days later galindo and "his federales" murdered about 50 farm workers in Tanhuato Jalisco, they were not members of CJNG, GALINDO GOT FIRED AND REPLACED BY manelich castilla craviotto who had been training "in france" for the "policia nacional", galindo got elected presidente municipal de un rancho en SLP, there ended his career as a university porro like miguel angel osorio chong

    1. it has nothing to do with killing. the ice arrests are happening to divide people more. you will take notice the people getting arrested by ice were not doing nothing illegal they were there legally matter of fact.

  11. Wonder if they were involved with or knew who was the electricians kidnapping? I think the two events were fairly close together and a security director for mathuala had been arrested for the kidnapping.
