Two Guardia Civil Estatal officers were killed in a torrent of gunfire in the town of Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosi yesterday morning. Authorities surged forces to try and locate the culprits, but were unable to find them.
The two police officers were identified as Alejandro Niño González and Miguel Ángel Sanjuan Aguilar.
Photos of the their vehicle show dozens of bullet holes in from the front and the back. A recording by a local does not show the killing, but the audio captures hundreds of gunshots, some with automatic gunfire.
Local government issued a warning about the presence of armed men to civilians, advising them to stay indoors.
Including this event, three police officers have been slain in San Luis Potosi state this year, according to Causa en Comun, already surpassing the two killed in 2025.

ReplyDeleteWhite Appreciated Boy Here- Everyday Mexico looks least developed.. America looks safer and civilized...besides the sleeper cells, wannabe gangbangers, and liberals...what mafioso tribe do you claim to be a part of?. Make America truly red..forever..
ReplyDeleteSan Luis Potosi has got to be very hard to be a police officer. You have at least five different cartels there fighting for every inch of territory. The police get offered plata o plomo by all the cartels which means money or death. They can't say money to all of them. By comparison in Jalisco all you have is CJNG. Cops don't worry about rival cartels killing them. I would rather sell fruit from a street cart instead of being a cop. Nuff Said!!!
