From October 1, 2024, to this Monday, a total of 75 people have been located and protected at that site

During routine patrols near the New Central Bus Station, officers from the San Pedro Tlaquepaque Secretariat of Public Safety and Citizen Protection rescued two teenagers who were attempting to travel to another state after receiving false job offers.

The officers approached them to offer assistance and conduct a preliminary interview, during which they confirmed that they were minors.

One of them stated he was 16 years old and from the state of Guerrero, and the other 17 years old and from the state of Nayarit. They stated that they were traveling to Guerrero, allegedly after receiving promises of high-paying jobs.

They also indicated that they did not have bus tickets and were not accompanied by family members or guardians. One of them stated that his family was unaware of his trip from Nayarit to Guerrero.

Given the risk posed by these types of situations involving false job offers targeting minors, personnel from the Andromeda Group were called in.

They were also taken into protective custody, with their physical and emotional well-being prioritized at all times.

A check revealed that none of them had an active missing person report or file, so they were referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office for Children and Adolescents, which ordered their transfer to the Ciudad Niñez (Children's City) facility.

That agency will open an investigation file for their subsequent reintegration with their families.

From October 1, 2024, to this Monday, a total of 75 people, including adults, adolescents, and women, have been located and taken into protective custody in the area of the New Central Bus Station.

If they knew what they signed up for why didn't they lie and say they were just visiting family or friends? Think a little bit before posting.

    6. If you don't understand the forced recruitment between Jalisco and Tierra Caliente then learn about it. Those aren't "Military Boots", kids are told they are working construction, security, they are told to bring sturdy clothing and footwear.
@12.01. Next time just gurgle excitedly and say "Hurrr, Heads cut off by wivals to swike fear into hearts of enemy!!!!!"

    7. @11.02 If forced recruitment between Jalisco and Tierra Caliente is something you don't understand then learn about it. They were tracking the sites that advertised, and the bus stations are where they're picked up. The jobs can be everything from construction to security, so what would you wear? Slippers? Stilettos?
@12.01. Great point? What was your point? That they be hitmen with "refilles" who gon get they head chopped off to strike fear into the hearts of bleeurghhh

    1. Too many people are going to too quick to resort to 'blaming the victim' and the responses from people that lack critical thinking skills will be "they got what they deserved" or "it serves them right, idiots, glorifying Hitman-wannabes!"
All the while the people passing judgment are 60 years old, married with a wife and kids, born and bred in the USA...and forget what idiot jackasses they were when they were 14 years old while having a pretty normal [albeit only partially shitty] childhood-
Instantly passing judgment, it's so damn easy and requires little thought or empathy.
Sure a lot of these guys are complete and utter scumbags but let's not forget about the 13-year-old kid who signs up, desperately hoping it's true$$ so he can help support the family 🐙h

  5. The number of unaccompanied migrant children who were
unaccounted for by U.S. authorities between January 2021 and the end of 2024 is approximately 320,000. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated in a late 2024 report that it had worked with state agencies to locate about 450,000 children in total since 2021, with many of those not found feared to be victims of trafficking.

    1. @12.02. And you? So stupid that you can't even string a coherent sentence together, but you mock teenagers rescued from potential hell because you didn't understand that they were prepared to leave their state to find work? I'd love to see spoiled little clowns like you commit to that to support your family.
