26 people, including a pregnant woman, 17 soldiers, agents and police officers of the federal and state public security forces, and 8 CJNG cartel members died Sunday. The operation to arrest "El Mencho" took place in the outskirts of Tapalpa, about 100 miles south of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The woman, who was three-months pregnant, died during a shootout between National Guard personnel and members of the CJNG who were stopping cars to burn at the intersection of Avenida de la Mancha and Covadonga, in Zapopan.
Despite numerous social media posts claiming tourists and hotels were being targeted by cartel members in retaliation, especially in Puerto Vallarta, no reports of deaths or injuries have occurred.
A guard at the Ixtapa state prison in Puerto Vallarta died after a riot broke out following the killing of "El Mencho." A Jalisco Prosecutor's Office Agent died after being shot at the intersection of Federalismo and Patria in Zapopan.

So far, 27 people have been arrested in connection with the events, including 2 in Tapalpa, 11 for their alleged participation in the violent acts that erupted in reaction, and 14 for alleged acts of looting some of the 69 Oxxo stores or 20 branches of the Banco del Bienestar that were set on fire.

The wave of violence that erupted this Sunday resulted in 252 roadblocks set up by drug cartels on highways in 20 states across Mexico, as well as vehicle fires and attacks on gas stations and businesses.
Jalisco saw most of the blockades, 65 in total and dozens more occurred in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Chiapas, Colima, the State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Michoacán, Nayarit, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, and Zacatecas.
By Sunday evening, Mexican authorities reported that over 90% of the blockades had been cleared.

Looks like el jardinero is the main man over there now.
ReplyDelete135 Word is him and 03 captured and Sapo Dead. Also, Jardinero is severely injured.
DeleteSo tell everyone cartels aren't terrorist organizations!!!
DeleteRumor is he got captured too with el 03 both captured . The leadership dismantled in one swipe similar with what happened with Arturo Beltran he was having a meeting with his lieutenants . So basically get ready for a couple hundred / thousand more deaths as they fight it out for control and the drugs continue to come to the US . Basically nothing significant happened here other than change of leader . Seems like a very good distraction , the question is from what?
DeleteOr the kid from Santa Ana - but look at how much heat dual citizenship is drawing for any other boss.
DeleteThere's going to be infighting between el jardinero & el sapo. You heard it here first
DeleteA new target to shoot at , goody
DeleteInternal fight between el sapo & el jardinero for the top spot
Deletebest believe we will get two maybe three different factions to come out of CJNG. 03, jardinero, sapo, theyre all going to fight for that spot.
DeleteI bet the same idiots who for years claiming he was dead.
ReplyDeleteWill now be claiming it's not him and he's still alive and retired .
1.37
DeleteGet some sleep, there's no proof that he died. For all you know, he could be hidden alive in another hospital.
Now is time they should let the US in and be done with these narco terrorists
ReplyDeleteWhy, i would consider the mission a success. Mencho is dead, the gob will present his scalp and donald is pleased. So no more interventions.
DeleteThe U.S. Is known world wide for destabilizing where ever it “helps “ . No one wants the U.S. to “help” . Please focus on your own country’s problem . Which are many . Now that they are openly supporting genocide along israel the worlds cop mask has fallen and the world is seeing them for what they are.
DeleteUs are terrorist white isiots
DeleteYou live in fantasyland
DeleteStfu Mexico is a sovereign nation
DeleteNot gonna happen… this is what Mexico does to keep Uncle Sam from stepping in.. Mexico can and WILL take down cartel leaders when they deem so convenient for them, funny how this happened soon after Trump threatens to increase tariffs. Has anyone put those pieces of the puzzle together yet ?
DeleteSybau
DeleteCalm down fuckin Rambo. Cartels unlike guerilla type armed groups blend in with society even though they can have just about the same armament.
DeleteThis means it's not just the US comes in and spots a cartel group and fights it out and done.
The US would have to weed out members first to avoid as many civilian casualties as possible.
Not an easy thing to do.
U got bigger problems in the US, fix ur junkies n get rid of that pedophile president first
DeleteGet off the internet and go turn on ur fox tv channel.
DeleteAnd when they leave new ones will come back, you can't stop the cartels. When the drug addicts on the other side
DeleteYup.. could wipe em out in a week.
DeleteThats not fake news either... if you think Mexico did this own there own you are stupid. They will get all the credit and so what...but Trump was behind this. The terrorists running free in Mexico is over. Should be thankful. But the Trump haters will start screaming as usual while they defend the criminals.
DeleteNo period kid, go clean your room and help mom with chores.
ReplyDeleteOvidio rescue shootout felt more than menchos for some reason
ReplyDeleteWas expecting more to be Honest
ReplyDeleteThe Mexican for years knew exactly where he was .
ReplyDeleteLike they did with El Mayo.
And all other lowlifes that keep the good citizens of Mexico living in turmoil.
It's the pressure to deliver that MR TRUMP put on them which made scheinbaum give him up.
America should just legalize this shitt like they did with weed.
And have it manufactured in the US.
Legal cocaine and heroine nobody will touch fenty.
And it will be dirt cheap nobody will bother with Crack.
Any idea if the majority of conflict has ended already since it was against the government and not a rival cartel? Or are they regrouping right now by loading up on supplies to plan on a longterm battle in the varios areas they control?
ReplyDeleteAl mencho jo melo cojo
ReplyDeleteWhy try to arrest these devils, send in drones and kill them all like the Israelis do. The Government knows where they are..ENOUGH
ReplyDeleteSo, do you see a giant power vacuum coming now that the Sinaloa cartel has been neutered by the capture of El Mayo, and now CNJG loses it’s El Mencho — it stands to reason there will be a huge power, vacuum and a lot of death and destruction, incoming months?
ReplyDeleteSurely this creates a power of vacuum?
ReplyDeleteel mencho gave mexican/usa government a huge deal of cash and told them to fake his death 🤔
ReplyDeleteIvan Guzman now in charge of CJNG
ReplyDeleteRIP to all the innocent civilians and the law enforcement /military members who died doing their job.
ReplyDeleteThe bad news is that Mencho has alrrady been replaced by el 03 .
Nothing will change unless Americans stop consuming drugs !
In the United States a career criminal was made a hero after his fentanyyl overdose and his family was given $36 million dollars for this. "I cant breeve "were his notorious last words .
All of the family members who had a disappeared love one go missing by this scumbag Mencho can now rejoice that they have some kind of justice. Payback sometimes takes a long time but it has finally arrived for them. Nuff Said!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of being so rich but you have to live in hiding and not be able to enjoy things most people do?
ReplyDeleteMencho got killed. Let burn cars in his honor. Terrorist.
ReplyDeleteSo is it Yogurt in charge now or someone else? That will determine how quickly Jalisco quiets down.
ReplyDeleteNone of these cartel leaders will ever get to die a natural death in freedom from old age. Mayo came real close.
ReplyDeleteMy question is. Why were there blockades in the north?
ReplyDeleteThis is Ai. What really happened is Mencho burnt the skeddy
ReplyDeleteMencho is gone. And now everyone starts stealing and acting like the true rats they are. This is going to be shit show withing CJNG for the foreseeable future. Looks like that's exactly what was needed for US national security. Good job.
ReplyDeleteGizzle
Next on the list- Guasave (Mr chapito- Isidro)
America captures Maduro alive and Mexico can’t capture a terrorist without a big mess. Mexico missed opportunities to take out the terrorists by not accepting direct American assistance such as drone strikes that could have mitigated losses.
ReplyDeleteCJNG exposing all of their strong holds to the NSA. Soon they’ll have more intelligence to capture key heads.
ReplyDeleteEl pinche narco no deja nada bueno.
Pinche burros no hacen caso de esto.
So will el Jardinero o el 03 be in charge?
ReplyDeleteThe clown movement should get over the mourning period, take the L and get on with their lives. CJNG is done, there will be splits and smaller groups in the circus. MF will control Mexico with some of the older organizations. Chapo’s sons need to get to America and had themselves in or did they throw Mencho under the bus to get a better deal from the US?
No payasadas.
DeleteNo lie. He went out like el barbas.
DeleteCouldn't have said it any better
DeleteNuffy Said
Relax Rambo. You watched too many Mario Armada movies...

Pinche lame huevos
DeletePraising this criminal huh? You must have grown up without a Father. Leave us now and go write for MS NOW.
DeleteComo sabes Sol? Nuff Said!!! El Basta Ya!!!
DeleteHi Sol necesito que me prendas
DeleteIt doesn't matter how he went out, he's still dead....
ReplyDeleteThose that were captured are still alive all be it in custody, but will eventually be able to see families. Don't be surprised if they haven't cooperated with the government or will eventually cooperate and get a reduced sentence.
"La Leona" the CJNG operative, was recently captured, I wanna say a day or 2 ago. She's allegedly responsible for recruiting/kidnapping youth across Mexico and turning them into sicarios. Rumor is she may have dropped his location, although I strongly believe the Mexican government was already trailing him.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.elfinanciero.com.mx/nacional/2026/02/21/quien-es-alma-n-la-leona-presunta-reclutadora-del-cjng-vinculada-al-rancho-izaguirre/
Supposedly he died when he was on his way to visit his wife.
ReplyDeleteNope remember el 3 is up el hijastro but just like all groups envy will get them
