The bodies of three young men were left on the side of the Salamanca–Celaya highway in Guanajuato state on August 18th. The men were likely kidnapped from the same area earlier that day, where three youths were reportedly taken.

A video of the three bodies was posted online later on August 19. The video shows the corpses in full daylight. Law enforcement received a call reporting the bodies just before 8:00 PM, almost an hour after sunset in Salamanca. This means the video was taken long before the police were notified, possibly even by the culprits who left the corpses.

It is easy to distinguish between the two different cartels because CSRL sells blue meth while CJNG sells white meth. A junkie got caught with white meth and spilled the beans on where he bought it which lead to these dead guys. Nuff Said!!!

DeleteAttacks on public officials in Mexico have spiraled this year, with more than 50 public servants killed between January and March, according to a recent report.
The Political Violence Report published by a publishing company located in Mexico, explains that most incidents of ‘political violence’ were concentrated at the municipal level.
Morena is the party with the most incidents, as it accumulated 30 in the first three months of 2025; it is followed by the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), with 10, and the Citizen Movement (MC), with nine. 75.9% of the total identified cases correspond to civil servants or former public officials; 15.4% to candidates for positions of ‘popular election’ and 8.7% to apolitical or ‘ex political’.
During the first quarter of 2025, 104 incidents of “political violence” were identified in Mexico. The most frequent crime was ‘homicide’. with 50 cases, followed by 24 threats, 15 firearm attacks, 11 kidnappings, two ‘disappearances’ and two ‘different’ crimes.
Six Michoacan mayors have been killed under the current Mexican administration that took office in October 2025 & the Director of the state Institutional Revolutionary Party says they will continue to seek justice.
During last year's electoral cycle, 15 candidates and public officials were killed in Guerrero. Recent attacks on public officials in the region have been linked to the criminal group Los Ardillos, which allegedly holds significant political influence in Chilapa.
It should be noted that recently (8.20.25), 6 severed heads were found on a road in central Mexico, in an area not normally associated with cartel violence and Police have not given a motive for the killings or said which of the criminal groups operating in Mexico might have carried them out.
Additionally, this same type of activity occurred in mid October of 2024 where Police were called to a road near the town of Ojuelos, in Jalisco state, on a Sunday morning, after plastic bags containing the decapitated bodies of five men were spotted by drivers. Forensic experts have been trying to identify the victims, officials said but, none of the victims' ages could be determined and an investigation has been launched.
More than 30,000 people are killed every year in Mexico, which has one of the world's highest murder rates.
