The US Attorney's Office asked Judge Brian Cogan not to consider the death penalty for Ismael Zambada, alias El Mayo, leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.
“The government respectfully submits this letter to inform the Court and the defense that the US Attorney General has agreed not to seek the death penalty against Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada,” says the letter addressed to the judge and dated today.
According to the court document, prosecutor Joseph Nocella Jr. informed the judge in the case and the authorities that the death penalty will not be sought against Ismael Zambada García, former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.
They didn’t choose shit. Mexico would’ve torn up any extradition treaty with the US if they went after the death penalty for the Sombrero Don
ReplyDeleteMoney talks yet again . If you think the US isn’t corrupt , you’re an idiot .
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I feel bad for Mayo. I hate all cartels but this dude kept the violence down as much as possible when he ran things. He avoided a war with Chapos stupid kids when he was active. Everyone respected this guy including politicians and the people. He was OG to the bone. Nuff Said!!!
