Tepalcatepec, Michoacán: Self Defense Groups Along With Military Recover Bodies Of Citizen’s Kidnapped And Killed By CJNG

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

Female Victim: From my family members, my husband, my father, and my brother. The only one who saved himself from all this was my son. Because he ran away from all this and hid himself. While he was hiding he played dead. He managed to see what all was happening, everything that was done against them. They were physically assaulted, they shot them, and they beheaded them.

Newscaster: The following events occurred near the Michoacán and Jalisco state lines. These 3 men were part of a group of 5 individuals who were assassinated by the Cartel Jalisco. Furthermore, 3 individuals have been reported as injured.

Today the armed conflict continues within the area. Military helicopters flew above the village of La Estanzuela. At the same time the armed confrontations on the ground have remained.

The bodies of the 5 individuals executed were recovered by the Self Defense Groups.

Gunman #1: Don’t fire at them because if you do they are able to locate where that round came from. If you happen to have a confirmed target take him down with one round and leave it like that. That’s the job El Durango, our sniper, specializes in.

Gunman #2: Ok.

Gunman #1: Wait until those dumb asses start firing first. And then proceed to take one of them out.

Male #1: Take a look at this here. This is our companions who were missing. They were beheaded by the Cartel Jalisco New Generation. These are our friends from the city of Tepeque. These are our missing friends. They were beheaded by the CJNG.

Male #2: Have courage my friends. You didn’t die in vain. We are the absolute mob of our townspeople.

    1. How is AMLO responsible for what these cartels are doing in their own communities? Michoacanos have greeted the military and guardia by throwing rocks and green avocados, destroying military barracks, a helicopter pad. The military filled the trenches in the road only to have them destroyed again the following day. The last time a president left the military at the disposal of an irresponsible governor you got 43 missing students and a guilty mayor and his wife. You think AMLO wants to deal with that? The governor of Michoacan is useless. The governor of Michoacan holds all responsibility. He's too busy crying over election fraud, making YouTube videos and claiming that he doesn't want to leave the burden on the next governor as a reason for not doing anything. Why not throw some shade over in that direction.. Governors who have set their political party pride aside and decided to work for the people are actually getting some "positive" results. Don't believe me, check the BB archives. We're seeing more and more articles on confrontations between the military and criminals occurring in states where they've decided to cooperate with AMLO. You can comment all you want but atleast come on here with some facts. Show us proof of the kick backs. You say AMLO doesn't know what he's doing but you never have anything to back up your claims. I say you don't know what you're talking about and I can prove it based on all your retarded "Almo" comments.

    2. 11:14 Just when you think you know it all. First of all Charlie Brown, your condencing everything into one.
They were throwing rocks, destroying helipad for a REASON, which you did not mention, you son did not get all your facts, but quick to defend the enpt president. He is letting all Cartels run rampant ever since he became president.
If the governors can't govern thier state, it's the presidents cabinet to step in.
When the military is around a few weeks later, of course townspeople will be frustrated. Furthermore since the roads were damaged by cartels, how are the townspeople to get provisions, but yet the military flew in privions the closeby base, that is why the helipad was distroyed.
Dios mio give me a break.

    3. @1145 I go back to what I've mentioned in the past, why would AMLO put himself in an unpredictable situation against unpredictable civilians or cartel members disguised as civilians and have a human rights violation or even worse a massacre like Ayotzinapa, Allende, or the 1968 student massacre, fall on his lap. That wouldn't fit his abrazos no balazos campaign. You're claiming he's allowing the cartels to run rampant but these BB articles prove otherwise. Even as he continues to preach his "abrazos no balazos" slogan (which by the way is completely taken out of context by his opponents) Just yesterday, Sept 16, nine criminals were killed in a confrontation against the military in Nuevo Leon... The governor needs to swallow his pride, get on his knees and ask AMLO for assistance as well as forgiveness. The people of Michoacan deserve better. It's not fair for the rest of Mexico to prosper under AMLO while Michoacan suffers because of Silvano Aureoles. Direct your anger and frustration at the governor... oh wait, if you do he'll turn around and threaten you like he did to that teacher in Apatzingan. Pffft. I can sit here and highlight all of AMLOs accomplishments and it still wouldn't be enough to change you're mind. Do some more homework on AMLO. Come at me with an overall analysis of not just the violence but the positive contributions that are impacting Mexico under this administration. You'll be surprised which one outweighs the other. Viva Mexico!

    5. As far as fallen Viagra or cartel members dressed in civilian clothing or citizens that are forced under threat of gun to throw rocks, or those unable to pay paisa must rip up roads to pay cartel, there are enough stories about theses trouble making citizens, that it stands to reason there is some duress of sorts going on. Let's face it, there is something amiss in some of these situations re citizens rejecting govt help
