Valparaíso, Zacatecas: Armed Confrontation Between CJNG and CDS Leaves 9 Dead

A confrontation between drug traffickers of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación and the Sinaloa Cartel, in the municipality of Valparaíso in the state of Zacatecas, allegedly left 9 dead from the criminal group known as the Cabrera Brothers. A video showing the events went viral on social networks.

In the scenes, several gunshot detonations are allegedly heard while a man wearing military-style clothing and a helmet protects himself from the shooting. The subject appears chest to ground for most of the video, and once the gunfire is over he stands up and shows his heavy-caliber weapon to the camera.

The Sinaloa Cartel and the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación maintain a tough battle for control of the state of Zacatecas, which has increased violence in the area and killed dozens of people in recent weeks.

Just recently on January 25, drug traffickers from the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación distanced themselves from the wave of violence in the state of Zacatecas and blamed the Sinaloa Cartel and Martín de la Zapata, aka Azteca 18 or H-18, for allegedly having protection from General Salvador Cienfuegos, former Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) accused in the United States of ties to drug trafficking but whose crimes were not proven in Mexico.

    1. Yes CJNG. More than likely this sicario is a part of the second line of defense. The outer ring that lights up all the opposition that runs through there. Whereas the direct action hitters are in the front.

    2. In topones it’s very rare for every sicario to go into the front lines unless it’s a small group. In big topones the group that has the upper hand sets up a perimeter around the area to 1. Facilitate an escape or 2. Get any stranglers trying to escape on BOTH sides. They won’t hesitate to kill their own if he is trying to run away.

    2. 11:29 The war is in the northern part of Valparaiso municipality. Not in the south near Valparaiso city. Those 9 are snitchaloas. Accept your loses and keep on sending more people from Durango so they can put on their tenis and run their as back once they feel the tip and they left the tortila maker on the street again.

  7. El Russo is currently in charge of a group of Ex Spetsnaz operators all were involved in the Chechnya war ,they were also members of the KGB Alfa Group.
They all carry Kalashnikov AKMB assault rifle fitted with the PBS-1 silencers and SVD Dragunov, which fires 7.62 mm rounds and can hit targets up to 1312 yards out.

Zacatecas plaza will not be lost.
    Animo Cabreras puro MZ.

    1. Dragunovs fire the Russian 7.62x54r round which is only effective up to 800 meters... you would need a .338 lapua to effectively make a kill at 1300 plus yards ... with most battles in urban areas takin place well inside 500 yards why would You need to take anyone out at almost a mile away .. those weak-ass malnourished michoacanos can be knocked down with a good stream of urine coming out of my trouser snake.

Most "special forces" are 2nd tier and above that are 1st tier special operators. Most Navy SEALS are 2nd tier but SEAL team 6 are 1st tier. Delta force is 1st tier. Kaibiles are 2nd tier. Russian spetsnaz are 2nd tier.

The best of the best among special forces are 1st tier.
