Son of 'El Chapo' asked FGR to be informed if he is being investigated

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat   TY GUS  Jornada

Brother requested files
In the last six months, the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) received more than 50 applications through the transparency portal in which various citizens asked to be informed if there are any investigation files against them, or preliminary inquiries, arrest warrants or appearance by the alleged commission of federal crimes.

Among them are Joaquín Guzmán López (son of Joaquín  El Chapo  Guzmán and brother of Ovidio Guzmán); Francisco Álvarez Murphy Alarcón, owner of Grupo Laboratorios Imperiales Pharma, a company that was disabled last August for failing to deliver triple viral vaccines, and a person allegedly related to the late former governor of Puebla Rafael Moreno Valle and who is investigated for operations with resources of illicit origin.

In February of this year, the Deputy Attorney General of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice, Brian A. Benczkowski, and the Special Agent in Charge, Scott Brown, of the Office of Immigration and Customs National Security Investigations at Arizona, announced that Ovid Guzman and his brother Joaquin Guzman were being accused of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana between 2008 and 2018.

In response to the request for information with folio 0001700540419, and through the official letter FGR / UTAG / DG / 00821/2019, the FGR responded on December 17 to the document in which it was requested to know if the Public Ministry  has requested any Mexican judge an arrest warrant against Joaquín Guzmán López and explain why crimes.

Joaquín Guzmán López, 34, was practically an unknown character as a member  of the Sinaloa cartel; however, his name appeared at a time when that of his brother Ovid became one of the main objectives of the US authorities to combat money laundering operations and fentanyl traffic to that nation.

Another relevant case is that of the businessman Francisco Álvarez Murphy Alarcón, who submitted a request for public information to which the folio 0001700562019 was assigned in which he refers:
in my own right, I appear before you with due respect to expose: inform me of the investigation folders and / or number of attention and / or inquiries instructed against me, as well as indicating date and time for the subscriber to have access to the proceedings and appear in the investigation and / or number of attention and / or folder of investigation followed against me.
In 2018, Laboratorios Imperiales Pharma SA de CV signed two contracts with the Ministry of Health for double viral (measles and rubella) and triple viral (measles, rubella and mumps) vaccines, and as determined by the Ministry of Public Administration, the company He completely failed to comply with the first, which included more than 773 thousand doses, and the second was missing one of four deliveries. The products arrived in Mexico, but their use was not authorized by the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris).

On August 6, in the  Official Gazette of the Federation, the notice was issued to government agencies to refrain from signing contracts with that Mexican company.

A third case in which the information applicant provides data for identification in the petition was located on folio 0001700540819, and although his name does not appear, but indicated:

in my own right as the accused, a fact that was made known to me through the freezing of accounts of the Financial Intelligence Unit and the various media that associate me with the poblano governor Rafael Moreno Valle and assure me I am being investigated, and then, he requested  access to the investigation folder that works against me and Let me consult the investigation.
In all cases, including those mentioned, the FGR responded that it cannot give access to the content of its investigations to the applicants, until as long as the Public Ministry summons them to the initial hearing, that is, until the case is in the hands of a judge and assess the evidence provided and determine whether to link them to process or not.

  1. Wants to be informed of being investigated, what you got something to hide? Since when does a cartel member call me he FGR to find out if on the scope. That's like a bank robber calling the FBI and saying am I being investigated. Knuckle heads.

  2. Fentanyl traffic. Mentioned specifically. This stuff is jailbait for the narcos and they might very well fall as a result of their involvement. Carfentanil, another drug being used to enhance potency of opioids is actually classified as a biohazard or a chemical rather than a drug.

Surely the traffickers have cost/risk analysts advising them on such matters, but it’s a no f*&king brainer that the stakes are much higher when trafficking fentanyl and that the smart play is to stick with the billions made by trafficking cocaine and real heroin. Mota as well. Any real OG Narco would know this. Who am I? Just an observer. And yet, this knowledge is basic even to a working man like myself.

    1. Because so many people think like that (on the safe side) is why theres a void in the black market (The demand is definitely there) and these guys are filling it and becoming rich doing it. Although, theres no question they bring more spotlight to themselves obviously. What more spotlight can they receive? They’re Chapo Guzman’s sons, the whole world has their eye on them. The day their day comes up, and they know it wont be long since the US is involved, they might think “might as well have made as much money as possible doing it before going to a US jail for a long time.” Or would you disagree?

  4. Karma has a way of taking care of business. I can hear the drone engines in New Mexico, Arizona, California & Texas tuning up and getting ready for the new year. The USA will have a mission this coming year and it is going to be hitting the cartels, their associates and businesses rapid fire. The drones will be leveling mansions, villas, hideouts, convoys lol and the list goes on. Their dance card is played out and trump means business especially after his 2020 landslide re-election. You see what they do in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia, Nigeria & that list goes on and on too. The USA is unstoppable. Say goodnight you shithead princes of bloodthirsty butchering and mass murdering your own people, families and friends for the almighty worthless peso. Goodnight.

    3. Okay soldier of fortune.
Those countries you mentioned are in ruins from US interference. Rather, its vested resource interests. While the same carnage is being displayed in many other countries (Africa) with no assistance whatsoever.
The political theater may have a suitor to whom many have fallen victims to. But,like all things & everything; it all comes crumbling down. Nothing nor anyone has remained unstoppable.
Read your history books and pay close attention.

    6. 12:25PM It is all corrupt buddy. Not trying to burst your bubble. I do not condone the violence of carter. Nevertheless, politicians in the US are just as bad. Similar to Malcolm X Wolf and Fox Analogy. Not many will understand but those that seek knowledge will.

Now I don't root for any cartel. Just asking is there not hypocrisy? Mexico won't be safe till y'all stop that. Holding your politicians responsible. And clearly seeing wolves in sheep's clothing. Seeing as your government keeps you blind. Killing those journalists who expose them. Your corrupt government and police chiefs.
Salud and happy New year mexico. In the words of AMLO and I mean it. A warm embrace to you and your family.
