Video: Armed suspects refuse to exit their Armored G-500, so police tow them to the station

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from Reforma

Two armed men remained entrenched inside an armored Mercedes refusing orders to exits the vehicle.  They locked themselves in the G500, and would not budge.

Police decided to take action by towing the Mercedes to the Central Prosecutor's Office in Colonia Doctores of Mexico City.

The incident began around 5:50 pm this afternoon, when police from the Ministry of Public Safety (SSC) conducted the stop in a routine check at the corner of Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas and Calle Lucas Alamán.

After being towed, the van remained in front of the facilities of the agency, while the area remained secured by dozens of police officers, until at 7:00 pm they finally gave up and were arrested.

  6. Fearing for their lives and the probable confiscation of their vehicle. Judging from their possessions an Amparo is likely. With the return of their vehicle and their release.

  9. Those inspections are unconstitutional to begin with. They were armed with .380 probably bought legally for protection but they didn't have carry permits. No one gets carry permits.
