El Chapo Trial: A little humor when the Guzmans pop up in the world of 'The Simpsons'

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

Over the Holidays Mica sent me a couple of these illustrations, a nice break from reality,  providing viewers a few chuckles.

Alexsandro Palombo is the illustrator, who after Chapo's tunnel prison escape, created the first images of this type, plopping the Guzmans into the world of the animated series.

The life of Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman and wife, Emma,  are depicted as characters of the  animated series “The Simpsons”.

The illustrations center on Emma, who few Americans knew anything about Emma before the trial, but now have an ongoing fascination of her.

Below is a combination of some of the two collections.  The trial and the previous “Welcome to Mexico" series.

  1. Whats not humorous is that vzn said under oath that his pops is the cds true boss. El mayo wld be crucified by usa courts if he ever get cought and ends up in usa court. And that even with chapo buying mexican federal forces who basically became an armed wing of cds he still got his ass kicked by oziel cardenas and his lieutenants till the cdg zeta war. All other cartels folded to his power except the cdg zetas. Also i saw a history channel show this week on chapo. It claimes amado gave chapos location in honduras or guatemala. The first time chapo was cought. Its a sea of snitches on the other side of the border.

  3. I have a prediction.....the government is in a shutdown at the moment...meaning the jurors wont get paid us Marshall's probably alot of people involved in this case if the shutdown continues....what a perfect time for chapo to work some Plato or promo magic on all these people who aren't getting paid to do their job anyway...rest assured one of those jurors will take the bank and stick with not guilty...the ironic thing is that the shutdown is over the mexican wall trump wants to build...on another note I want to wish the best to the people who run this site and to the mexican people not in the narco game stay strong and stay safe

  5. I think the stupid and stale government officials are up for a bad surprise: the trial of Chapo might not end up as the propaganda coup they have played for all along. Instead it may actually make people think and question what is really going on.

  11. Cartel de Sinaloa Propoganda; Chapo will be spending the rest of his life in SuperMax, Pinche Mayo; Rafa and Miguel will all be extradited to the USA; thanks to all the beans being spilled by Chapo in his confessions, he is singing like a tell all Bird’
