In possession of a 9mm handgun and approximately 250 grams of crystal meth, the PEP(State Preventive Police) arrested Juan Carlos Hernandez Silva of 30 years of age, who is identified as a Lieutenant of the criminal alliance Jalisco-Cartel Arellano. He was arrested on January, 10th when he was driving over Boulevard 2000 in Tijuana, by the Tecate intersection.
At the moment of his arrest, he identified himself as a businessman dedicated to the purchase and sale of used cars, however he was already identified since the beginning of 2016 when he participated in a reunion of CAF members in Mexicali, which resulted in the capture of "El Karateka" in February of 2016.
El Karateke captured ARTICLE HERE |
The Coordination Group identifies him as one of the principal allies of Carlos Gamiño Gonzales "El Karateka" (detained and sentenced in 2016), and is currently responsible of the criminal control of Zona Norte (Tijuana's red light district), and the area of La Mesa in Tijuana.
In November of 2016, in the ZETA newspaper, the State Security Public Council, presented "El Chucky" as one of the 10 most wanted criminals of Baja California that were involved in assassinations. However the name of Hernandez Silva had already been in a similar list in February of 2009, when he was 23 years old, he was included by the PGJE and the US Marshal unit of the south of California, in a list, along with 11 other bi-national fugitives involved in crimes against human health, murder and kidnapping.
According to intelligence gathered by the Coordination Group:
1.- He is involved with several police officers who alert him of operations and judicial actions against him.
2.- He is responsible of the organization, coordination and the supervision of shipments of drugs to the United States.
3.- He orders assassinations of members of other criminal groups (contrarios).
4.- He recruits criminals and forms cells of operation and distrubition of drugs in Mexicali.
Other members of the CAF-CJNG alliance that are in the sight of the authorities are:
Juan Jose Perez Vargas "El Piolin"
Israel Alejandro Vazquez Vazquez "El 50" or "El Goofy"
Manuel Santiago Navarro "El Mini" or "El Chago"
Edgar Alejandro Herrera Pardo "El Caiman" or "El Zame"
Pablo Edwin Huerta Nuño "El Flaquito"
Jesus Alfonso Trapero Ibarra "El Trapero"
Daniel Ochoa Loera
"since the beginning of 2016 when he participated in a reunion of CAF members in Mexicali"
ReplyDeleteI wonder who surveillance them and what info did they get
I believe they got that info from people that were arrested and snitched.
DeleteProbably an informant that was at the meeting, or the DEA listening to their conversations through the cellphone of one person that went to the meeting.. or the DEA from the sky?
DeleteWhen they arrested Karateca, and his brother/cousin, they were in Mexicali to talk business and strategy, with people they were potentially trying to convince to join them. That was the "CAF reunion' Cafatera has little if anything to do with CAF, they are running on the name only.
DeleteRegarding drugs and weapons at time of arrest, difficult to say whether they are 'planted' by the authorities, no doubt it happens, but with the higher profile captures....I don't know. I think sometimes it reveals the reality of things, this guy wandering around with 2000 worth of meth in his car, is not who his songs depict. But, I think that is La Cafatera.
250 grams in México is less then 400 bucks you can buy a whole pound for 15000 pesos
DeleteA pound of meth in TJ is between 800$ and 900$ USD right now
DeleteJ, I feel like LA Cafetera are just dudes who are being used by high profile CAF members to keep themselves off the radar of the authorities. They take advantage young unexperience criminals who want to make a name for themselves by engaging in assesinations, drug thief and trafficking but who at the end of the day are controlled by the real old school cafe members, such as Don balas, chencho beltran, and other people who have been in the business for years
DeleteI agree, but I don't think the ghosts of another era back up La Cafatera, I think they are marginally, barely organized group that conducts retail sales in Tijuana and sends crystal north.
DeleteAre they being used by CAF? or Jalisco? Or both?
DeleteJ, while they sell cafetera hats and brag about being in a cartel on facebook and at the local nightclubs of Tijuana, such as barezzito, alebrije etc.. lol
DeleteWhat about LA malquerida these are the young tj kids trying to make a name for themselves
DeleteLa cafetera sigue ardiendo jijos del cocho
Deletearrested with 250 kgs of meth??
ReplyDeleteBe skeptical when you read the news, why?
In many instances, these guys dont have the necessity to drive around with drugs in their possession, because that can be done by their workers or drug dealers.
What really happens is that once the PEP captures you, they already know who you are because they have intelligence of your whereabouts, and criminals usually know this so they will not carry drugs or handguns in their possession. However, the PEP has several methods to interrogate criminals in order for them to give away the location of safe houses, their own house, and other criminals of their organization.
Thats why the PEP is usually accused of torture, because they torture criminals in order to find drugs, guns and other wanted criminals, which in my opinion is a collateral effect of the war on drugs on innocent civilians that have fallen victims of the methods of the state police.
Once criminals give away the location of their house, or any other info on stash houses and the location of other criminals of their organization, the PEP will go to those places, and steal whatever they like, it doesn't matter if its not an illegal item, they will take it if they want... now whether this is right or wrong, thats another topic. But the PEP steals drugs, tortures and interrogates while the narcos kill people, steal and sell drugs.. so I guess that is fair game?
True..
DeleteI am in no way trying to discredit ZETA, but because the PEP does not report everything that really happen, we will never know the real full story.
DeleteIt says 250 grams, not kilograms
Delete250 grams* thanks
DeleteRight fair game
DeleteOn the one hand, it seems kind of silly to hear that drug dealers were arrested carrying drugs and to think there's a conspiracy there.
DeleteOn the other, I have heard of Mexican police planting drugs on suspects to make the arrests easier. And you'd think that ranking members would have underlings to do this stuff for them.
250grms = like 9.5 OZ thats not a big amount here in Los.
DeleteThat sounds like a "lose-lose-lose" situation Wachito, either carry a weapon and get fucked over by police, don't carry a weapon and get killed by the contras, or don't carry a weapon and (yet again) get fucked over by the police. Can't imagine being a cartel member and not carrying a weapon at all times.
Delete6:47, there are cartel members who all they care about is trafficking. Yes, I said it. they exist.... they don't cartel about plazas, power, having hit man under their command.. all they want to do is traffick drugs into the US.. those are the type of cartel members that usually don't carry guns because they don't mess with anyone, however if you are out there ordering assesinations well guess what? you better carry a handgun for self defense...
DeleteWhen the 'polesias' and the military become corrupt, torturers, rapists, kidnappers, murderers, allied with drug traffickers and incriminate innocents , that is worse than the cartels that are expected to be corrupt, that is their job, and they pay with their lives for it.
Deletebut for anyone betraying society from a government paid position, that is the pits, from the humblest cuico to epn, the worst culero that mexico has had for a president since the salinato, when even that pinche rata could not sell all of it away, not even pemex, just took down La Quina for exposing him and raul for murdering the young female house worker when they were 5 or 6 year olds...
I get that Wachito, there have always been guys who preferred to fly under the radar and get their monthly shipment across. It would seem pretty reckless to be a member of la Cafatera (given the intense turf war going on in TJ) and not carry a weapon. Lo tiene muchos huevos o lo esta muy tonto.
Delete@El Wachito
DeleteI know a lot of guys get into the hustle wanting to be traffickers only....just moving product and that's it. But the problem is that you become targeted for money or product by other more agressive crews....
A friend of mine one of the nicest most down to earth guys, more hippy than any thing and super religious. Dude was moving weight up here from south of the border he didn't even carry a gun his policy was never mess with any one. He got robbed more than once, he got shot (lived leg wound) the icing on the cake was getting kidnapped and he got lucky jumped out of car on USA side as they were trying to drive him into Mexico. So he had to make a choice arm heavy or walk away. He walked away and now owns a jewelery store in town. He didn't have the stomache to be a killer or a shooter....
Thing is this he says that the guys who did it were probably told by his supplier he had a stash........ Who supplies who? Are you a good client for them? Or is someone else?
If one of their bigger and better clients that was made up of killers and thugs lost a shipment/load or lost some money and needed to recover would you make an easy mark?
Do they know about you?
Who told them?
These are all questions.....
These guys care only about the money, there are no more old school rules about respect. Again this dude is one of the most polite guys.
He made a lot of money I am sure he still has a lot of it, because he always lived below his means
saludos pa Lomas verdes
ReplyDeleteahi por el campito
DeleteI agree with what you just said wachito. Mexico needs to change ASAP.
ReplyDeleteReally?
DeleteChange of president would be a good start.
Delete1:41 "mexico needs to change"?
DeleteAll of it, or just some select choice mexicans?
--About 10% of them are the ones causing abut 90% of the problems, out of about 130 million mexicans, are you ready to take on about 13 million troublemakers?
--How about just the most evil 1%, it is only 1.3 million that need disposal, name 1 name at least, not the whole "mexico"
'Dirty searches' happen frequently in Calif. While the feds have FOIA laws, California state does not so it is virtually impossible to smoke out dirty narcs that steal for their livelihood. It's a dirty, dirty game and don't play it thinking their are 'rules.'
Delete250 grams < 1kg .... true about PEP..
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell does 250 grams < 1kg mean?? Your math is way off homie.
Delete250gms= 9.5 OZs
Delete4:08pm his math is right and exact if he was saying what I think...Which is 250 grams is < which means less than 1kg..Remember < is less than> is more than Now tell him sorry..
DeleteSaludos para todas las Buttercups locochonas. - El Sol Perdido
ReplyDelete1:45 hey! Saludos pa la señora del chapo, aka Soledá (Chole)
DeleteAnd another "El" goes down .
ReplyDeleteThe peligrosas are la/las, la chapa, la mencha, la chila, la chorrienta... y la chiva que apá? Pos tamién mijo, andan como diablos
DeleteFirst El Gross kill in High Risk Operation Lead by El aquiles and executed by professional sinaloa hit man now El chunky captured seem El caf-cjng alliance ain't working at all keep trying boys greetings from Scotland
ReplyDeleteHe was friends with El Gross
DeleteWhich implies either mencho snitched on this dude or CDS has state law enforcement on their payroll again in TJ.
DeleteMexico needs the death penalty, for murders & torture/kidnappings, they need a turn around time of 1 year for execution, that will slow crime down
ReplyDeleteI agree 100%
DeleteThere is a death penalty in Mexico. It's called police extrajudicial killings of suspected cartel members in shootouts! This haooend all the time.
DeleteThe deart penalty sounds like a good ideacin theory but if this guys are not scared of getting tortured and beheaded you think they will be scared to commits crimes
DeleteWith all those names listed, waiting for the special forces comments to begin.
ReplyDelete2:55 your name is missing, on the list beech!
DeleteTas como la Madre Superiora: "dijieron que todas, hermana!"
cuando las ivan a violar a todas las monjitas y dijo la monjita: "no, a la madre superiora no!
Stay in school 12:02
DeleteAnother slap on the wrist. This guy will not do serious time. By the time the judiciary process commences its time served or lack of evidence. Everyone seems to walk in that country. Keeping there ill gotten fortunes and returning to illegal activities. So curious of why the Mexican government does not take these guys homes , assets etc. Or do they? Because it's not a hidden secret where these mansions reside? Probably the government on payroll not to touch or interfere. Allowing these scum bags to reap there ill gotten fortunes from the deaths of many . Strong borders everywhere not only Mexico will hopefully put a damper to them. Moreover , the transportation of goods from these individuals ( cartels) from allowing Mexican citizens with CDL liscence to halt from driving into United States. That will be a real bummer. Not against the good common people of Mexico but the illegal drugs which it finds its way into the American stream . NAFTA definitely needs a strong enforcement policy. It's weak . Since Mexico has become the narco capital state of the world. And Mexican government can't stop it . Maybe it is better to dismantle the trade agreement. Mexico show us you are a good neighbor and halt this drug epidemic killing millions around the world and maybe we will discuss future investment. Show the world you are sincere. Enough of the bullshit with your lack of laws protecting this practice for so long.
ReplyDeleteAmen 3:01.
Delete3:01 You say a lot and nothing at the same time.
DeleteIts an effect of supply and demand. It does not matter which county it is. If there is a demand (USA) there will be a supplier (anyone willing to risk their life an freedom to have better life for their family).
Probably be working a call center while in jail extorting random citizens. Jail is a fortress for criminal activities in Mexico. It's a joke. Death penalty needs to be implemented in Mexico for the country's sake and its good citizens. IMPLEMENT IT ALREADY....,.,,,,
ReplyDeleteI hear Trump is willing to grant amnesty to all Mexicans currently in jail so he can bring them over for a lethal injection. Just doing the work Mexican citizens won't do. Also notice the countries with strong catholic beliefs are aginst capital punishment but live their lives punishing the defenseless?
DeleteWe need an immediate ban on usage of "El Chucky" as narco alias.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt! Though he does look a bit like the evil puppet.
Deleteno tiene orden de aprensión. los pepos le plantaron la pistola y la droga. hay alrato sale.
ReplyDeleteeso es lo que pasa, los weyes duran como 3 meses en la carcel, dan una feria y los sueltan
DeleteEither Mencho has turned into the biggest snitch which i find funny that no one else commented that or their comments aint getting published by wachito who along with chivis are clearly jalisco nutt huggers or CDS is having the feds do tgeir dirty work. Either way jalisco is in a downward spiral in TJ from what im hearing.
ReplyDeleteIf I was a jalisco "nutt hugger" i wouldnt have posted the CAF-CJNG allience diagram, or anything related to CAF-CJNG
Delete"If I was a jalisco "nutt hugger" i wouldnt have posted the CAF-CJNG allience diagram, or anything related to CAF-CJNG"
DeletePerhaps putting that diagram up shows you are sneaky, throwing us of the scent, by looking like the good guys. Perhaps you, and Chivis are secretly El Azul, and El Mayo. Or they are just figureheads in you grand criminal plan.dww
conspiracy theories run wild again
Delete1:59 Canadiana, learn to read between the lines, because not everything is as they paint it for us,
Delete--remember "plausible deniability"? It remains rosy pinky lily white for a lot of people and a big pack of lies for many others.
Just a small fish to keep the media entertained..
ReplyDeletewachito, which cartel do you support and why? honestly. thank you!
ReplyDeleteAlso Wachito, boxer or briefs? PePsi or Coke?
DeleteI dont support any cartel because their activies have a negative effect on the society, and even if you argue that people have the liberty to hurt their own bodies, before drugs make their way into people, cartels have to engage in assesination, extorsion, theft, intimidation and corruption, therefore, my personnal values do not allow me to support any cartel, in addition that as a contributor to Borderland beat I cannot have preferences for anyone.
DeleteWell said. It's sad how many commenters here treat the cartels like they're sports teams, instead of like criminal organizations.
Delete6:09 briefs, neither, water
Deletelol wachito. thanks for answers!

DeleteCan someone explain why these A- Holes continue to be in the news ? Love to hear of good hearted Mexican folk making a difference in the community. Would be an uplifting start to ones day. Knowing kindness and Giving continues to exist in an uncertain future. Hope is a beautiful thing and a powerful tool for everyone to believe in. Better than a mornings cup of coffee.
ReplyDelete@5;34PM The best explanation I can give you is at the top of the page, "Borderland Beat", and in small type just below that is "reporting on the Mexican Cartel Drug War". But I slip in a occasional "feel good" story. I like them too.
DeleteCannibal chick was helluva feel good story. U guys need to bring that back!
Delete6:O2 lol!
DeleteThank you. Just sometimes hope feels beyond reach from what is occurring in Mexico. Again thank you for the cute dog story. Love it.
DeleteThe drugs and guns must have been planted why would someone of his status be rolling around with a couple hundred dollars worth of drugs
ReplyDeleteThat's a good hit he had a large group of followers/cheerleaders in tj wen at party's he rolled deep

DeleteWachito,
ReplyDeleteRead a story the other day on the blog of the narco. They claim Paco Stanley was wacked by AFO. They also claim all of the hit men from AFO escaped from prison in tijuana while serving time for other murders. Interesting story and wonder if there is any thruth and if the escapees were ever caught?
La barbie and the beltranuses that were amao carrillo juentes pistoleros and in cd juareeez, monterrey, morelos, guerrero, all the way to laredo and used to hang with the televisos and the televisas, el estado de mexico, genarco garcia luna, one of carlos slim helu's puppets, and estado de mexico governor epn, they got Paco Stanley, CAFOS from atlacomulco and the altiplano to guanjuato, aguascalientes, sonora, sinaloa, tijuas, but all of them capos and cartels have been betrayed by their millionaire "patrones" and sold down the river...

ReplyDeleteI cannot confirm that information but I can confirm that chencho was really appreciated by Arellanos, however most of the real arellanos are now either dead or in jail

Every one ratting on each other more then ever now 'cuz Trump going to anointed in a week and he has already made it clear that Mexican DTO's will be deemed terrorist organizations and the US military will act to defend the southern border.
ReplyDeleteThe U.S never does anything unless it's going to contribute to the U.S. like Afghanistan and heroin, Iraq and gasoline.
DeleteGive him 2 to the head.
ReplyDeleteClose relative once told a story about how in a city in coahuila de Zetas busted a CDS stash house, with the municipal police, they were given shovel s and picks and had at least 100 k of caine, by the time press made it to the place they reported 4k confiscated..back when they dominated La Laguna
