Acapulco: Human Remains Left As An Order of Tacos

By: Uriel Sánchez | Translated by Valor for Borderland Beat

Acapulco, Guerrero, September 12, 2016— The mutilated hands of a person were found on a disposable plate on 4th Street and Mexico Avenue in the neighborhood of Bellavista.

A phone call to the emergency number 066 warned of the finding as police rushed to the scene to verify the information.

Upon arriving at the location, a disposable plate was found with a lid, and under the lid was a pair of hands with radishes, onions, and cilantro, as if it were an order of tacos.

The police cordoned off the area while staff from the Attorney General’s Office of Guerrero conducted the relevant proceedings, to then order the transfer of the human remains to the medical forensic service.

    2. "U dont know wat's up down here" coming from my pueblo carichi Chihuahua I know the real deal... You take out those 20 caga palos and 40 more jump in. Violence in mexico will never stop and you won't hear about it because the media won't report anything. Clothes food and gas is getting to expensive down in chihuahua. Yea mexico is roaming with the dust but also the entire world is. Climate change, nuclear warfare and over population doesn't make you think the world is doomed in the long run?

    3. 8:46 regardless of your 95% good guys 5% evil example , the bad guys win in Mexico . lo que pasa en Mexico ya son cosas del demonio amigo . aqui en USA tambien hay muertes violentas pero son mas de situaciones personales y no se compara a la crueldad con la que gente inocente vive. Los pocos safados en Mexico como dices " caga palos" son los que tiene el control. son los que desaparecen familias enteras. son los que avientan 30 cuerpos descuartizados de mayoria inocentes en tus carreteras. son los que cobran derecho de piso y si no pagas te chingan a tu papa o hermanitos. y si hablas a la policia peor te va . so please 8:46 do us all a big favor and learn from Mireles , stand up to those 20 caga palos

    6. I live in Mexico and see very clearly what is happening. It is not hard to understand it all. You are obviously in tune with the situation and the people have to fight and get rid of the 5%. People here know where every drug dealer lives, what they deal and more. A person can drive you down the street and point out the houses. The police know where they are also. Until you go after them with force and fight fire with fire, Mexicans cannot live freely as they will always be looking over their shoulder. You cannot even have a business in some areas as they want to take it or extort you to the point of failure. Too bad they cannot get rid of the local police and elect elect their own among people they know are not connected. then give them full protection until the criminals are expelled. Sure innocent lives will be lost, but that is part of any war. Do it for your children and country. Do as the criminals do and make secret attacks on them under cover of night and more. Catch them off guard and leave no one standing. It is the only way I can see, because the government will not help you.

    7. It's always been like this, only difference is you can see it all in the web anytime you want. There were more restrictions in the past as to what you could see and when. Another difference is that there are more humans on earth. More people more problems.

    8. If everyone stood up to corruption at the same time this might be eliminated in a generation.Maybe I'm wrong and there sure as hell would be a blodbath for awhile but would you want to be that person?I get it.Besides if the corruption stopped for the most part the criminals could actually make money drug trafficking like in the US.There would be no need for sicarios and they would operate completely off the radar but guess it's a fairytale.

    9. The thing is that there' are few people like Mireles. If the government wanted to end organized crime they would collaborate with great leaders like him instead of locking them up. that right there tells you that the government allows the cartels to operate as long as they pay their quotas. People get taxed by cartels, cartels get taxed by the government. No end unless there is a total revolution.

    10. You folks in Mexico make it sound like your average street gang when one shoots another and it is over. No these are armies of men and women as well as young people fighting massive wars. Cutting up bodies and cutting off heads, dipping bodies in acids and all that crap is not a normal thing. Don't get so offensive when folks realize what you are going through. Kidnapping is a normal thing there. Clandestine graves. I read the one comment where you can point out a drug dealer, but this is much more than that. Also, didn't they try going after them? Isn't that part of the reason it has gotten so bad? When Calderon started war with the cartels. These are vicious, greedy murderers. Your country looks like Syria and yet you guys make it sound like heaven. Face the reality that it is a bad place. For the record, it appears it is far more than 5% of your communities. Thinking like that is exactly why there are so many victims.

    11. If any mafioso gets attacked, the poolice and army and marinas will jump to the rescue or for the revenge, they have not been nurturing these motherfacking criminals to have any pinchi self appointed autodefensas attacking them, UNLESS they want to replace the crooks that have paid them for others that are about to pay them better.
--After carlos salinas de gortari stole "the partida" (the military budget) he set the military free to go and make it up to themselves, the military started robbing the narcos of all the business they could, the mexican military are experts when it comes to bitting the hand that fed them, El pri and the US could do well by watching their dogs better...

  5. You guys don't report much about Acapulco, but I follow another publication that is solely about Guerrero and wow, they are by far the most violent and disgusting of the bunch. I can't understand how they can't get this under control at least to some degree. They have so much security local, state, Federal, Gendermaria walking around in platoons like a real war zone, yet someone shoots someone on the beach and is never caught. It's just such a security failure on so many levels. The entire tourist zone has become filthy run down and aside from holiday weekends, it's a boring risky night life. You'd be hard pressed to see one caucasian face. Barely any bars open late during the week to socialize....There are some open, but you won't meet other tourists or singles. Some of the worst videos and pics I've seen come right from Acapulco. WTF does it take to stem it all? I'd support government kill forces if it would help. F human rights...it's a nightmare here.

    3. someone shot on beach and not cuaght. think of the place as a prison. in prison there are guardsa everywhere but still people get killed. because the people that live there can see the routines and know security weak points or they can curropt the guards

  7. Remember in Tepic when they did that with a whole body, face skinned, and cilantro, onions, radish, salsa and a cigarette in the mouth......I think Los Beltrans left the bodies like that for Sinaloa people in Nayarit.

    1. I remember that one, but there was on in Acapulco worse, much worse and I don't recall who posted it. They took the skin of the faces and heads off and placed them on the bar rope in front of a bar...looked like halloween masks. Then they stuffed genitals in the mouths of the skinned heads and then wrote messages with the intestines. It was the scariest crap I've seen yet and that was Acapulco and it's amazing that things like this don't make USA news. We'd expect it from Muslim nations, but not a Catholic country..it's really sad..

    2. J, this reminded me exactly of that, and other displays that Los Beltranes put up on the Puente Los Lobos when the war for Nayarit was on 5 or 6 years ago. Seems like the Beltranes, and factions that split from Los Beltranes commit some of the most grotesque acts. Remember the video from 7 or 8 years ago where sicarios wearing FEDA vests castrated and then decapitated their victim while he was hanging upside-down? That was back in the days when beheading videos were just starting, and Beltran-Leyvas released one that, in terms of brutality, went unmatched even by Los Zetas.

    1. 11:41 puro pedo, if the victims were real extortionists or kidnappers they would have been made to confess and convicted in court, but I guess that is reserved for the not guilty either.
Mexico has set free more death squads to carry on with the state sponsored terrorism of state, while the army and marinas and federal poolice watch, because it is "local business" and the municipal refuse to meddle in federal crimes
