Old School Zetas offer authorities 1million pesos to "elminate" members of CDN

Lucio R. Borderland Beat

Two narcomantas appeared in Cd. Victoria, Tamaulipas, one at the Pedro J Mendez Primary School, the other on Tampico Street.

The message is the same in both mantas (banners), it is addressed to authorities, Federal, State and City, they offer 1 million pesos, (56,230 usd) in exchange for “eliminating” any of their choice of the people whose images grace the manta.

The authors of the manta state that under the direction of Los Zetas CDN  leader “El Kiko” Trevino, there have been countless murders and executions of innocents, and collecting quotas.   Further stating, these scum are causing pain and panic in the city.  They assert that they don’t kill just to kill, they only for settling accounts with these scourge and all that follow and help them.

It is signed, “Old School Zetas” and Operativo Bravo.

Juan Francisco Trevino el Quico (kiko), is the nephew of Miguel Trevino (Z40) and Omar Trevino (Z42), the now imprisoned premier leaders of Los Zetas.

He became the heir to the Zetas throne, once his uncles were captured.  Wanting to assure Trevino blood took control, however, they were aware there may be issues because of the violent, blood thirsty nature and history of their nephew.  When they were in leadership, both Omar and Miguel had to closely monitor Juan.

But Juan has created conflict and mayhem in short order of becoming Zetas boss.  The showy executions, mantas, are back in a seemingly uncontrollable, daily occurrence.  The violence had all but disappeared after Zetas premier leader, El Lazca was killed by Mexican forces, and while his uncles were in control.

Juan Francisco was in custody...twice

Juan is the son of the Trevino’s oldest brother  Juan Francisco Treviño Morales, 61, known as Francisco. The younger Juan is one of the 141 prisoners escaped the prison in Nuevo Laredo in December 16, 2010.

In June 2012, members of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) of Nuevo Leon arrested Juan Francisco Treviño Chavez, "El Quico" in a shopping center in Monterrey.

The report from state authorities at the time of his arrest, highlighted the fact that the Young Trevino was considered third in line of command of Los Zetas after his uncles, “Z40” and “Z42”.

At the time of his arrest he had in his possession weapons exclusive to the Mexican army, in his VW Beetle.

He was transferred to the maximum security prison El Altiplano, in the State of Mexico.

Three months later he was transferred to a prison in Hermosillo, Sonora.

It was from there, his uncles paid for his release a judge ordered his release.

His cousin,  Jesus Chavez Garcia, assumed responsibility for all the charges against Juan, including the weapons.

However, no judicial authority has ever confirmed or denied the release of Treviño Chavez.

“El Quico" is operating out of  Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, cradle of the Zetas Cartel.  And his presence there is mentioned in the narcomanta.

  1. I thought El Quico was the nephew killed, resulting in the assasination of Moriela (nephew for nephew?)

  2. Boy is that brazen offering $$ to the authorities on a public banner. This is something that should be a 'backroom deal' and if those CDG guys disappear it sure would shed light on the authorities motive.Yikes!

    1. do you know how to read?? They are not CDG members, they are offering money to kill the Trevino faction of the Z (CDN) and those loyal to them. The only CDG guys are the people offering the money as they are old school zetas and have an alliance with CDG.

    1. If it were deleted not many would get the point...they would ACTUALLY think a judge ordered the release based on a technicality or lack of evidence instead of what PROBABLY actually happened.

  4. That comes out to about $57,000 US. That money will take a cop's family a long way in Mexico. Especially if he off'ed 3-4 people on that bed sheet.

Most of Texas is CDG or Z.
I've.met both CDG and Z that where 100 mafia and about money nothing else and I've met CDG and Z that are 100 pieces of shit so in my experience I can't say positives about any one in particular.
But their is alot of Texas and cartels love this place. CDJ is in Texas too.
That's not including the cartels like CDS/BLO and LFM/CT and AFO/CJNG that are here too. It's like Mexico in Texas, they have shoot outs here. The "ajuste de cuentas" shoot outs for failure to pay piso or for invading "their" plaza.
@12:30 family from Zacatecas say the CDG leaves them alone.
But CDN~Z lost Zacatecas and want it back badly. From Zacatecas you can get any where. Coahuila Durango Jalisco to name few places. It's a very strategic state to keep. If CDG isn't doing what CDN-Z was doing to the people then Zacatecas should be ok.

  10. That's what you get Treviños for being backstabbing bastards, they wanted to put there own people from Nuevo Laredo (CDN) in charged in other plazas like Monterrey and Ciudad Victoria that's why the old school Zetas got pissed. Also since Rex, Rojo, Licenciado, Chelelo and others got out of prison they didn't like the Treviños nor there idea of creating there own mini Cartel aka Cartel Del Noreste.

Drunks started mouthing off to my daughters saying very disrespectful things I asked them to apologize one swung at me another tried to grab me I beat both and a third but the third I split his head open with my boots I served 1year 1day in state then I sat in federal 3more months while they took my ss and green card I also list my family ..my wife of 20years passed from heart complications an I couldn't be there for her my daughter's both graduated highschool and join the military our youngest son my sister in-law has raised for us ..deportation needs to be only when you're not tearing a family apart. If there's children than you should not leave them without a mother or father.!
