Millions in product falls in Ensenada

Millions in product falls in Ensenada

After a grim and bloody week, where in an escalation of recent public attacks, gunmen descended upon on a funeral parlor, and murdered two, and leaving 10 wounded, in Tijuana,a large drug shipment was lost in Ensenada.

Ensenada, an hour or so south of Rosarito is generally quieter then it's northern counterparts, a port city, which attracts ex pats and tourists, is a corridor for drug loads coming up to the border.  It is routine for large amounts of marijuana, packed tightly into pangas to be captured of Ensenada, or while offloading their product further north, in US coastal areas.

The federal police claim that during a chase, a truck carrying the shipment was abandoned by it's driver, after attempting to block the officers, chasing a 1996 Ford Aerostar. The federal police were apparently attempting to stop the latter vehicle.  The driver and the Aerostar were not detained.

Inside the black truck were 220 packages, of drugs wrapped for transport to Tijuana, and across the San Ysidro, point of entry, one would assume.  Some of the crystal and heroin could be headed for the colonias in Tijuana, where retail groups break them into smaller quantities, these groups are ground zero for the violence in the city, as of now.

169 kilos of crystal, 22 kilos of heroin, and 28 kilos of cocaine was the total amount.  Everyone has different ideas about the exact, or near exact amount, but either way it's at least worth 1.5 million to it's owners, much more on the other side of the border, or sold in sub gram amounts in Tijuana and Rosarito.

The federal police official version seems slightly less then credible, which may be with good reason. The federal police have often been accused of being compromised, almost entirely.  One notable incident in 2009, when federal police working for, or on contract by Juan Sillas Rocha, a CAF cell leader, stole 300 pounds of crystal, from Michoacan, bound over for transshipment through Tijuana.   The shipment was under the protection of Teodoro Simental Garcia, 'El Teo'.  In the aftermath, federales were murdered, and banners hung demanding the return of the shipment.  A hotel in Rosarito housing many federal police was shot up.

If the blood on the pavement, and .40 caliber bullets penetrating the base of the skull are the fire, figuratively speaking, this, the product is the fuel.  The fuel of the bloodlust and degradation, corridos playing til dawn, fingers dipped in oily cocaine, the Michael Kors on the arms of women, crystal smoke in pipes, acne scarred addicts living amongst the trash, leaving women, children, men, mourners in it's growing wake.

The drug user will always have to pay the price of drug consumption, at the moment however, many many other parts of soceity shares the burden of drug consumtpion.

That a druggie will get his hit is as sure as 'Amen' in church and despite (or maybe because of) 30 years of 'war on drugs', drugs today are:

    - more plentifull AND
    - stronger AND
    - cheaper

    THAN EVER BEFORE!

  5. Yes I read the article yeah im adding Kilos here.
    170Kilos of ICE
    30 kilos of Coke
    30 Kilos of Smack

This is about a $2-5 Million Dollar lost even at whole sale.
Considering the amount of Meth maybe it was a CJNG shipment or a Sinaloa shipment since it had a nice amount of smack. Sinaloa peddles smack very well.

    3. Yup, this in the LA area would be around $3.38 million. This is most likely Sinaloa's, nowadays they are the ones known to send shipments through Ensenada. Back in the day, it was almost exclusevly CAF and the Amezcua Contreras brothers from Colima, not no more.

    1. You got a point there, that is why 70 percent of meth that comes from Mexico is crossed through Baja California. It is mostly Coke through Sonora and marijuana trafficking is quickly being replaced by heiroine here in Agua Prieta. Drug cartels are pushing less and less weed up north, but much more heroine and meth.

  9. a note to the author. first, you should give yourself creidt for translation and creating your post past your AF Tijuana. Secondly, thank you for drawing attention to the fact the value of these drugs once made in street end user sales will be astronamically higher than reported in the media. It always amazing me the numbers i see in the news after these busts. I am in the midwest USA and the gram street value of those drugs ... $20 million, heroin $2 million, near $2 million in cociane. It is really important to understand the true monetary potential of these loads. Thank you for bring attention to this fact

    1. What are you talking about? The media always uses the inflated numbers that LE gives them. lol

      Delete
    2. Wow I feel the exact opposite. It drives me crazy that they attribute street prices to big bust because that's not what the whole seller lost. The whole seller is not nickel and diming. Chapo is not getting 100 G's a key. He gives it to his top lieutenants at 20. They sell it wholesale at 25. Street value may be double but that's 3 or 4 hands down the line. It's not an accurate portrayal of the loss to the boss.

    3. This is prices from the source at the border and in BULK.

Prices jump each middle man and each state it goes up north and each time its broken down for retail.

Thats why in the north shitty drugs sell well. In the south shitty drugs are sent north. You guys pay more for less product.
This is why Chicago is so valuable. Logistic hub and if the product is strong its smashed on till its better and cheaper than the competitions but not entirely too stomped on or cheap.

The Heroine comes from Guerrero or the sierras of Jalisco or Michoacan if its from CJNG, but if its CDS, than from Sinaloa, Durango or Southern Chihuahua.

--I ask because this guy can not support his pregnant girlfriend, pay rent or bills, can't hold a job, but he can find $$ for his drugs, hell yeah!!! #1 priority...

    2. If he is cooking it, then it is chiva as meth is not cooked. If after slamming the shit, he jumps out of the truck and begins singing 'shoot'n dope and skip'n rope' it is definitely crank.

      Delete
    3. Backing powder is not the same as baking soda.

That guy is likely doing H. Intravenous use can be used with cocaine heroin and meth but usually although not always in order .
Coke is snorted or injected . If coke is freebased it is then smoked.
Meth is either consumed through smoking it or via a syringe . digestion is also an option. Very few people will snort it.
Heroin is usually injected. Its purity matters. If its very pure an overdose is likely. So people will usually inject herion but many will also smoke it on aluminum or snort it after diluting it.
Of all the drugs herion is the most likely to make some one very selfish and violence on their come downs

Once people start to hear this, it might deter future junkies! Why I'm I a knuckle head? Is it because your mother hates you? Or daddy was never around? .....

@ 3:01....... Yeah go and tell that to Portugal, they have legal drugs and have a huge domestic drug problem. Do you really want your doctor, bus driver, judges, kids, etc. high on drugs? There is a reason why hard drugs are illegal, they create a useless society and there is no need for that. Also, you are the idiot by saying Legalization will solve all the problems that come with drugs. You have no proof- as a matter a of fact please stop inhaling spray paint and go out and enjoy nature. 24. Actually, there is a lot of disinformation getting bandied back and forth about Portugal's drug policies in this dialogue. Portuguese crime rates are nearly half than what they were 2 years, ago, previous to decriminalising pot, hash, cocaine, heroin, etc., for personal use. As a european country, it doesn't get any cooler than Portugal--music, art, food, wine, but most of all it's the people themselves. Salazar was a brutal dictator. He's gone, got his ass ousted, too! Then, the Portuguese kicked the English out. No UK citizen can buy or own real estate in Portugal any longer. Portugal has always been broke, so the foreign debt criticism kinda falls flat. Health care is excellent & free, so is education. Children & family are everything to to the Portuguese. This is a country smart enough to understand drug addiction is a public health issue. The criminal elements in Europe drool over Portugal, especially the gangsters out of the former Soviet States--arson, forest fires are a means to grab land for real estate developers.
