Borderland Beat

(Tijuano´s note: This story has just been published, reports can be read on several news outlets including ZETA, El Universal and others, as soon as more info is available I´m sure you´ll read it here)

Joaquin Guzman Loera aka "Chapo Guzman" escaped Federal "Maximum Security" prison No. 1 Altiplano, The National Security Council confirmed his escape.

According to the Council, "At 20:52 of today (Saturday 11th), Joaquin Guzman Loera was seen in the Permanent Video Recording System of the Federal Prison Altiplano 1, where he was seen entering the showers area in the 20th room of aisle 2, where they usually, besides taking showers, clean their belongings".

"When it was noticed he had been too long out of sight, they entered the cell, which was empty, immediately prompting the alerts regarding his possible escape".

The corresponding protocol was initiated confirming the escape of Guzman Loera.

It was informed "In response to this situation a search operation has been launched in the nearby area and roads in the nearest states. Operation in the Toluca Airport have been suspended".

Wonder how much he paid this time?
Last time it cost him $2 million..

    ReplyDelete
  35. So if they ever capture him again they either need to shoot him on the spot or hand him directly to the us authorities.

The sad fact is that this really is not a surprise, mexico is in serious trouble due to the US lust for illegal drugs.......things need to change

    ReplyDelete
  36. Is this a great country or what?!!

    ReplyDelete

    7. Why embarrassment tho???? Guys break out in the USA all the time who have no money why is it not a possibility this billionare wouldn't lol mexicos president or Obama or Trump lmao lol could stop that how does the president come in to play in this maybe the prison warden at most lol you guys man you guys lol

      Delete
    8. Why an embarrassment? Because it shows that Mexico is completely incapable of policing itself and maintaining order when one of the (if not THE) most notorious prisoners you have is able to escape from what is supposed to be your most secure prison. If you don't think this is embarrassing for Nieto and the entire Mexican government, judicial and prison system... you lack basic intelligence. This escape is simply shocking for the Mexican government and shows that the Mexican people are completely and utterly fucked.

  38. UNBELIEVABLE! I have no words right now. This is absurd.

  39. Escape or let go for being a good informant ?

  40. I`m surprised it took this long. We`re talking about one of the most powerful guys on earth. Billions of dollars, hoards of guys working for him. Does anyone really believe it`s possible to keep him locked up? I dont. Look at Escobar, they had to shoot him in the head to stop him. Same thing with Chapo.

  41. Some one got paid good

    ReplyDelete
  42. This is very suspicious in my point of view, what if he got murders by the gov he just knew to much and had to be taken care off and all these he scaped deal its just to make him the eternal fugitive and that way the gov can sleep knowing that he won't turn on al those politics and legit business men that were part of the financial structure of the sinaloa cartel ........

  54. Fucking BULLSHIT. Escaped from SuperMax? Who is next the Trevino's and Tuta? There was collusion here someone was paid big money on the inside. You can bet you ass US agents are locked and loaded boots on the ground searching for Chapo. If he is captured alive you can bet your last dollar the US is taking him across the border. Hopefully though he is just dead on sight.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Can't wait for The Don's Trump to get all over this!

    ReplyDelete
  56. He needs to hide really good this time because when they catch him he will be extradited to the U.S. Quickly

    ReplyDelete
  57. This is a joke. He was supposedly locked in his cell 23 hours a day in solitary. WTF was he doing up and about at almost 9pm without guards or escorts? Pure BS, he was helped from the inside. So we was actually allowed to freely walk around supermax without guards and was allowed to take a shower stuff without supervision? Wow! What a slap in the face and a kick in the ass to the Mexicoan government. He should have been handcuffed and leg-ironed prior to leaving his cell and under heavy escort and supervision being led to the shower and watched as he took the shower. Everyone needs to be fired there.....I will tell you this though. The US is not going to take this lightly and are probably already in Mexico looking for this cockroach. This time if he is alive, he is coming to the US where he will be caged down in a 6 x 9 house. POS.

  85. Pathetic! This is just a never ending story, sad one of course, for Mexico. My heart bleeds...

  86. I'm probably the only one in the world to believe the officials didn't let him out. I'm sure Peña Nieto is not that stupid to let the worlds most dangerous man escape twice. I'm sure he would rather not have that in his record. Yes I believe it was a lone guard or maybe 2, or maybe the whole jail but I really don't think higher ups had any say. Call me naive.

  90. This is why he should have been sent to the US. He had access to many of his personal resources in Mexico. Mexico plays these games when they capture these murderers and leave their communities at constant risk. Such an incompetent country. At this point I think no country should help them at all. Just let the massive murders go on until it reaches the ones that allow this crap without taking precautionary actions.

How does one not know a tunnel is being built in the middle of nowhere in a maximum security supermax prison? Are there no officers walking the grounds? Is there no remote security? Mexico has just confirmed it is a failed narco state where impunity rules.

    ReplyDelete
  106. This is a joke, right? Yup! A joke of a country - a joke of a prison system - a joke of a police system -a joke of a justice system - a joke of a political system. And the joke is on me, I actually thought they were serious this time. After all, they could not do this twice because that would ruin their credibility and no one would believe it could happen twice while in federal custody. That government is an embarrassment to its country and people.

Of course I should have seen it coming. If they were serious they would have put him in American custody. They did not and would not. This was sure to happen from the beginning.

Then the U.S. Government wonders why people always said CDS was the favored cartel for them. Fast and Furious Operation, as well as other operations in favor of Sinaloa! This only cements the deal! I have a cousin that as soon as this so called cartel war began, that the U.S. Intended to keep one cartel in power in Mexico. Reason given is that there will always be corruption in Mexico but it is easier to control one cartel than many other!

  145. Really wanted to believe Mexico could change and pull it's head out of its ass, but at the end of the day Trump is right... but nobody wants to admit it. In Mexico the good guys always lose and the bad guys always win.

  152. Ha el chapo escapes again. Walked into the shower into a well constructed tunnel. Probably had a tuxedo to slip into waiting on the side too. Viva el chapo the king of the tunnels. I mean really I know he's a drug lord and but you have to love this guy. Block all the roads you want he is gone and we'll out of harms way. Good job Mexico! !!

  156. The Mexican government said Chapo would die in prison in Mexico and he would never be extradited to the US. Could this escape be a ploy for the US to snatch up Chapo without Mexico going against there statement? Or could the US Feds have him already in custody and the alledged escape is a cover up? It would not surprise me if Chapo popped up in the US's custody in a couple of weeks and the US claims he was caught hiding in Colombia or some shit like that. Then to add to the muse Mexico publicly objects to his incarceration in the US and demands his return to Mexico immediately. It's far fetched I know but stranger things have happened in this world. It's kind of like the Osama Bin Laden deal. The whole world believes he was killed in Pakistan by the Navy seals but in all actuality he is secretly being held in isolation at the Florence supermax in Colorado. No judge, no jury, no trial and no appeals. We shall see if the truth reveals itself.

    1. Not a shock...but a surprise it happened so quickly. that points to an intricate preplan. as Lucio says the property was chosen and bought well before the escape.

the one flaw of altiplano is there are three areas with no cameras. the showers are one.
