Meza Flores Group: Closing in on Chapito Isidro

Borderland Beat Posted by Siskiyou_kid translation by Spike
Elements of the Navy of Mexico unleashed an onslaught against the organization led by Fausto Meza Isidro Flores in the north. With the support of the Mexican Army, Ahome municipal police, Guasave, Sinaloa municipality and the state police, faced cells of gunmen. Until time of going to press, there had been twelve alleged gunmen dead and two arrested, besides the capture of arms, military supplies and vehicles. The goal: to exterminate the cartel Guasave. Military, naval and police forces laid siege to the territory in which the Cartel de Guasave have an enclave or hideout, on the eve of the alleged arrest of one of his top lieutenants, Carlos Jesus Higuera Salmon, other wise know as El Macaque, once arrested or killed they would concentrate on his group of followers.

The military group would have weakened the strength of the cartel Guasave to carry out operations, in just four surgical actions.

Thus the untouchable aura of him and the territory he controlled , Fausto Isidro Meza Flores, Chapo Isidro, founder of the Guasave cartel along with Jesus and Ignacio González brothers, are now all but defeated.

Navy Marina killed four gunmen loyal to El Macaque in 3 separate incidents , thanks to ground reconnaissance by the Marina, according to a preliminary report issued by senior officials of the institutions involved and who requested anonymity.

The first shooting occurred Thursday afternoon in The village of Aguajito , located about six kilometers from the town of La Mojonera, Sinaloa. They found the body of a man, an AK-47 rifle with magazine . Six kilometers to the west of that place, in a bunker, were found the bodies of two men. In a room two assault rifles AK-47, known as Goat Horn, and a .38 Super pistol and a service pistol of .45 caliber were found. On site they also found a Dodge truck line Ram 2500 Hemi and tactical gear, military uniforms, dozens of magazines and ammunition. So far, the details of these weapons have not been posted.

Sources said that the weapons remain in custody of the military corps, but are available for the office of Criminal Procedure C, located in Los Mochis, which will initiate its own preliminary investigation against the person responsible for the possession of weapons and ammunition.

Meanwhile, the Attorney General of the State initiated a preliminary investigation into the murders of the three people. The investigation began with the ministerial faith in El Naranjo and continue the Public Ministry of Common Law in Guasave. The bodies were taken to Los Mochis for pending claims and identification

By Friday afternoon, a fourth gunman a personal bodyguard of the  Cartel boss of Guasave, was taken down. He is, confirmed as, Jesus Pacheco Miguel Samaniego, Freckles , Head of assassins in Ahome. Other sources presumed that among the dead with the Navy was El Dos Letra, a hitman who had personal vendetta with the operating director of the State Ministerial Police, Jesús Ruiz Carrasco. Until the time of press release, it had not been proven the dead man is El Dos Letras, because the real name of El Dos Letras was not known.

The onslaught
Invasion of the Guasave Cartels territory began on Thursday, when groups of the Federal Police set up checkpoints at the junction of Highway 19, which leads to Station Naranjo, Mexico with 15. were two filters.

Main road, secondary roads were taken over by members of the Ministerial Police, closing the net, and beginning with the pressure on armed groups.

And finaly, the Marina entered the territory of the Guasave cartel and began the work of ground reconnaissance. They, installed observation posts, but without disturbing the civilian population.

The naval patrols began in El Naranjo, spread to Ocoroni Concentration on February 5. They passed La Playita, Playa or Playona Second, the Alamito and came to El Garbanzo. They entered the thick forest and then the shootings happened. Other gunmen went back to the mountain, retreating to the mountains.

According to reports obtained, that area is territory under control of the Sicarios of EL Macaque, but the Marinas moved into the mountains as the Sicarios retreated under fire.

Locals interviewed after the last Marina raid, said they now feel safer, knowing that the Marinas themselves had come to fight criminal groups that have killed entire families.

So far, the naval raids continue in other towns Guasave. There are no reports of casualties, at least until the end of this year. >The naval raid happened after soldiers caught two subjects in the colony Forest in Guasave, after a short exchange of gunfire.

The surprise operation, launched on house on Boulevard Adolfo Lopez Mateos between Jacarandas and Sauces included two helicopters and armored vehicles. So far, the identity of the detainees has not been officially revealed, as the army keeps that information hidden, secret. However unofficial sources indicate that among those arrested was Carlos Jesus Salmon Higueras, El Macaque, head of a group of  Guasave Cartel Sicarios.

He and his accomplice, who is said to be the chief drug distributor in Guasave, who were arrested after soldiers killed in the town of El Chino Lopez Eleobardo The Salmon Higueras, the Chichi , brother of Macaco . At that time they were arrested Jose Higuera Orlando Aviles, a cousin of the brothers and Gaspar Romero Jesus Bojorquez, 59, Halcone of the hangar and Concha Usiel Fong, 40, a farmer and pilot. According to reports, the detainees have confessed to military operations and those acting on the information.Civil authorities of the municipalities have not commented on the military operations.

Now the Guasave Cartel is reduced in effectiveness because of the operations of the Marinas who, encircled and besieged the heart of a territory under its control.

  11. Hold off on the hurrahs until the dust clears, This could be smoke and mirrors, a propaganda project, a favored owed another cartel, all kinds of stuff. El Chapo couldn't touch this guy so I find it strange that the Marines can go in and kill maybe 10 guys, arrest 6 and poof, the cartel is all bu done. There should be a minimum of 500 members. They are badass and very well trained in tactical moves and traps. This group is the ones nobody wanted anything to do with and really, they were pretty stand up. Not a bunch of snitches. They have very futile ground for poppies and pot. some of the best in Mexico. Many of their canyons are one way in and lol no way out. After reading what the Mexican Government has done to help La Tuta remain in business, how can you not suspect there is an alternative motive to this crap. Which cartel is the military trying to help? It really bothers me to see the US citizens cheering when they don't understand that the military is covering for cartels. They aren't trying to bust drug dealers. Wake up. It is a chess game.

I Agree with you about Chapitos group being well trained because El Cholo Ivan along with Gente Nueva have been trying to take over Guasave for years but Chapito isidro's men have been able to hold them off. In big part because of the support from the Zetas. However, I disagree with you about all military being corrupt. How can you say that when Chapo Guzman CDS, Juan Perros Jr. CDG, Ricky Santillan Z's have all gotten capture by the Marines and all from different cartels. Yes there are corrupt military officials, but I refuse to believe that every military personnel is corrupt.

      Delete
    3. The military capturing people can mean many things but never that they ceased being corrupt. The things that go on in Mexican politics have a direct effect on narco-politics. When PAN gained executive power, this war began. Chapo gained power and was free, while PAN was in power. Meanwhile, The zetas(ex military who worked for the PRI) began their destabilization and fund raising activities all to return PRI to power. But politicians can be trusted about as much as they can be thrown. PRI has a history of screwing over their candidates, don't expect less for the monsters they helped create. Besides they make big big point with Uncle Sam. Who have been known to make deals, from heroine during the war in Vietnam to heroin in Afghanistan today. They caused the crack epidemic in the 80's and from the Iran contra affair to operation fast and furious. Corruption goes all the way to the top. It just passes through the military ranks on the way to the bank. When we forget or ignore history it's bound to repeat itself.

  13. The Mexican Government does have agencies similar to the CIA,FBI,etc. They "know" who is who and where they are at all times. It is better to know your enemy than not. For any cartel to move something through the State, requires knowing and paying State,Military,Police and or Government Officials. That's how it is, don't cry about it just because another Cartel has more friends all around... Mr. Chapito Isidro, I suggest making a phone call to """"""" and say you are "sorry"!, I did not mean for certain people to get out of control. With the new Federal Highway coming through, there is a lot of cleaning up to do within certain areas...But yes, I agree...You Must Play By The "Rules"...

  32. the armed forces of mexico are at the beck and call of their commander in chief, and faithfully execute his orders as transmitted by their military commanders, being that el presidente achieved his position through corruption, vote buying and electoral fraud, and given what we have seen of the way his deputies apply their vast knowledge of the law to imprison innocent persecuted people for defending themselves, we have to conclude that the armed forces of mexico are in fact as corrupt as any federal police officer has ever been...including his foreign educated ministers...

since vicepresident nixxon got pelted by eggs on his snout, the republican party has been carrying on with their politics of exploitation, suppression of dissent, and political dominance, sixty years of failed foreign policy on
latin america, and the US still can't wake up, except for 2± years of Alliance For Progress under President Kennedy that his murderers turned into a criminal alliance for their own progress, socializing drugs by inventing crack for the masses in the process, among many many other high crimes and misdemeanors in the middle of their christian compassionate conservatism.

  40. They were executed like the Fresitas and then the bodies were positioned. This is about his territory and now it's going to be taken away with the help of some Federal friends. There is a new Mexican Federal Highway 40 that is an important variable to all of this. Check out a map of the Highway and then compare it to who runs what area... Rumor was that Chapo met with Mr. Quintero prior to his arrest and who knows what was said or planned, but that arrest sure went down smoothly. Play by the rules and don't be a showoff, heat up the plaza you work at/for or else it might be the Marina looking for you. And they do not seem to be arresting many people either...

  41. on one end fecal and genaro garcia luna were pushing the narcs and extorting them, on the other end the pri governors kept pushing the narcs to destabilize as much turf as posible, to bore the people into their side for the next election, it workrd for all sides, except for the narcs, which makes the mexican politicians worse than all the narcs put together, and don't forget who feeds and supports the mexican government, all the way fron the mexican independence war, the revolution, the narco-democracia of fox, the narco-fascism of calderon and the narco-satrapy of peña nieto, the US, still dropping good clean US taxpayers money by the billions of dollars down the black hole of mexican politicians greed, for a kickback of half of it, with no strings attached to the other half, none of it will benefit the mexican people, so, US citizens, ask your government what it can do for you in lieu of an explanation, a cover-up or sompin', a white-wash at least, say it isn't so joe, say it is all a communist conspiracy...against the WHOLE US, and a crime to even think that...

  43. The government is throwing out all the "bad apples" that have been causing the most violence and harassing innocent civilians. Ever since Rafael Caro Quintero was released, it seems like the Mex Gov has made a pact with him in order to bring things back the way that they where. Many top dudes have realized that violence creates a lot of unwanted attention and is really bad for business. This is why cleaning up the house and exterminating the roaches is the best thing to do. Think about it, everybody wins from this. The capos will have less heat on them and will continue to make their money without having to worry about authorities on their ass or spending millions on going to war with their enemies. Politicians, military, authorities and other government officials will look like heroes for bringing the violence and crime way down, but will continue to receive their bribes, while at the same time looking good with the public. The civilians will also benefit from this, because their will be more peace overall, increasing infrastructure, even if it is due to money laundering, more local and foreign investment, as well as an increase in tourism. Overall decreases in crimes that have been destroying the country, such as murders, kidnaps, human trafficking, extortion and robberies will also be noticeable due to this. It is a win-win situation for everyone.
