Border Patrol agents seized a truck designed to look like a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service vehicle along with a flatbed trailer containing more than 3,200 pounds of marijuana near Douglas on Monday.
The agency said the drugs are worth about $1.6 million.
Agents working east of town responded to reports of suspicious activity and found a truck driving along the international boundary fence. The truck stopped and two people inside got out and ran into Mexico, Customs and Border Protection said in a news release.
They had removed a 1000 lb vehicle barrier and replaced the barrier when on the US side not to draw suspicion.
Agents searched the truck, which had fake decals from the federal wildlife service, and found the hidden bundles of marijuana in the trailer.
The vehicle and drugs were seized.
**First time a clone government vehicle has been caught**
ReplyDeletethis tactic has likely been used before
first time its been used? right under your noses.. how about the U.S soldiers that transported drugs in Arizona? and the highway patrol cops to?
ReplyDeleteDump asses there where supposed to duplicate a border patrol vehicle so they can blend in.
ReplyDeleteYou idiot how were they going to clone a border patroll vehicle when every unit has its territory and boundary to patroll and where were they going to stash all that pot? Dint u read? it had a trailer attached where they loaded the pot. Smh what a dumbass.
DeleteThey have also cloned cbp vehicles. There are some bp vehicles roaming around its hard to know.
DeleteLmmfao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteI like these guys .were they wearing their uniforms too ?
ReplyDeleteFirst time caught! We see a lot of cloned vehicles. From companies like coke a cola to big transportation companies.
ReplyDeleteThey busted 17 traffickers with 10 million in coke and meth last week in the ATL!!
ReplyDeleteThey clone ambulances, border patrol, police. This is not big news, its been going on like that for a long time. They hardley get caught because there are so many agents out there nobody knows who is doing what.
ReplyDeletepretty sure they also clone fedex, ups, usps cars....
ReplyDeleteAnd that ladies and gentelman is how its done been workin these clones for decades and they have caught several diff types in the past we still get it in pura gn al servicio al m100 100% chapo apson sigue rifando
ReplyDeleteThere has already been a bp truck cloned in eagle pass, tx
ReplyDeleteEverything match except they didn't know how to speak English.
ReplyDeleteI really praise them for their creativity :>)
ReplyDeleteLol how the pigs always exaggerate with their retail prices of drugs confiscated. Its probably Mexican weed at $500 a pound
ReplyDeleteThat weed is straight shit it goes for 30 for half a ounce
Deleteawesome
ReplyDeleteThey bin cloning since day one little late!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletefirst time government clone vehicle seized is the story.
ReplyDeletePLEASE give us the link to the Eagle Pass story because I can't find it, when did it happen?
ReplyDeleteDam thats alot of kush
ReplyDeleteLol kush...you mean shitty Mexican stemmy, seeded bunk.
DeleteSome of it is pretty fresh, what do you know about weed besides the discovery channel. You sheep!
DeleteThat weed is shit you don't know anything about cannabis I bet the thc levels are about 2 % on that Bush I come from the emerald triangle where we grow real cannabis.
DeleteWell stay yo ass over there and get off borderland beat if ur drugs are grown in country don't read on what crosses the border!!! Comprende
DeleteThe UPS clones have only been seized in el centro corridor, for trafficking people. obviously they can't be spotted in the middle of the desert like BP and Wildlife vehicles. those are the only places clones can go with drugs. There is no record on homeland security or ice for a clone in eagle pass with drugs or anywhere in texas.
ReplyDeleteif you have information contrary to their records, please post the link or be quiet with false information.
.
7:03 can you support your statement? I hate these random comments.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how we would never here about sonora now that's all u here !!!!
ReplyDeleteit is not fair, where is the originality, televisa done did that before, i mean ungrateful televisa workers who didn't even work for televisa, got caught in the central americas not long ago, they had cloned the trucks, the equipment, the bills of sale, even the license plates...and i'm sure these cloned trucks are cloned the exact same way...
ReplyDeletesince governor Tomas Yarrington can't visit george w bush and exchange the cloned presidential planes every week, general of hidalgo county texas sheriff, had been doing his best to keep his boys on the straight side of the law, but the exactly same thing happened, people cloning his sheriff squad cars, escorting loads, and then blaming lupe's son and friends, it is not nice that mexican criminals come to our country and run their smear campaigns on the US.
now they are going to ask for a receipt and a refund and say that there was a lot of cocaine, heroine and meth there and it has disappeared
We only hear about what is caught, otherwise it is pure speculation about what other cloned vehicles are out there. If we go by the statistic of only 10% of crimes are caught and/or reported, then there are many more cloned vehicles out there.
ReplyDeleteMessage to cartels "mess with the best then you'll die like the rest" sincerely mexican marines & autodefensas
ReplyDeleteThat's not a clone that's the real deal , sumbody on this side was in on it. Fish and game needs their funds enriched just like every other agency out here. Just like the army pilot who used to fly into mex with government helicopter and fly back full of drugs. .....
ReplyDeleteThe us military has been doing that since the 80s. Look up the iran-contra scandal. Everbody is a sheep. Open your eyes!
DeleteMessage.... I opologize for those off you that are speculating about the cloned vehicles,... Yes it is true the reason why it does not make national news or the local news is because it is not put out by the CBP, BP, ICE,... there is no benefit in telling the world look we just caught one more cloned vehicle..... And yes in Arizona they have cloned BP, vehicles in the past.... Please dont ask for proof because like i said the vehicle gets confiscated and no mention of the cloning appears in the paper work... There is just no point in mentioning that to you guys...... The reason behind it is because there is always an ongoing investigation of the criminal groups and the investigators should not and will not put everything so that the bad guys get wind and clone better or shift tactics... Get the picture.......
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be CDS. Love them or hate them they are the smartest the Sinaloan smugglers have so many creative methods of getting stuff across but they won't be happy now with the truck getting seized. Chances are however they have more.
ReplyDeletethis drug stuff is getting old quick.. we all know your a part of it ICE DEA ATF FBI CIA..you might all be backed up by the gov. and nothing will problably will never happen to you,.. but you will go to hell.
ReplyDeleteto the ignorant, stupid classless piece of garbage who wrote a comment chastising (look up the word) me for not posting your comment. So what if you and your "whole family" are from Mexico and you live on the "Rio Grande" listening to helicopters like it is vietnam each day. So the F what? Live on the Bravo side and then talk to me about your problems. Get ear plugs.
ReplyDeleteI have not been on BB much and taking evenings off .so I did not work comments. I don't know why your comment wasn't posted, maybe because it contained the N , or F or C word like this one does. You don't like how this blog operates? create your own
On point
DeleteWe love u from rio geande city
ReplyDeleteThe cartels have been doing this for a while in Mexico, i.e. Leyzaola assassination attempts.
ReplyDeleteOn a different note: The spelling and grammar on this blog is the worst I have ever seen, it is really atrocious. You all should feel ashamed and return to primary school.
Who cares if the spelling and grammer isnt 100% to your liking. Unpaid bloggers post and translate stories in their free time. And who really has free time? I for one am appreciative of their efforts to keep readers informed. What do you do for others in your free time? If you do anything at all, would you want to be criticized for it? They teach how to interact with others in primary school too..
