  1. Every day 200 people die in Mexico due to tobacco addiction, nobody cares, it is never in the news. 6'000,000 every year. But we keep on watching this tabloid information about dismembered bodies that fuels the killers need for publicity.

    1. I see your point, but no one is forcing the smokers to keep smoking. the cigarette boxes has warnings, even in mexico...i have boughten a pack in mexico and it even had visual pictures of what tobacco does to you.

this doesn't compare to the drug war at all. i don't see random babies, children and women getting murdered over tobacco. Now let's focus on what this blog is for, which isn't about the war on tobacco...it's about the drug wars.

    4. Drugs are not illegal because of the harm they cause. No one has died from marijuana use ever, crime is down for the first quarter of the year since they legalized marijuana in Colorado. The war on drugs about prejudice. All prohibition has been about fear. From the mass European migration at the beginning of the last century. When Irish and Italians and countless other brought their national drinks people feared them along with the Mexicans whom smoked marijuana after a long day in the american fields. It was said that it gave bloodthirsty Mexicans the strength of ten men. Blacks smoked it as well and they where said to entice white women with it and their Jazz which was the devils music of course. White women had been using opiates and even giving them to infants so they would sleep. But it wasn't until Chinese railroad workers smoked it after a long days work was it seen as evil. So in a way the drug war does have room for tobacco debate. My friends would say the white man can't see brown people having a good time or making money. I would call it xenophobic prohibition.
Killers don't need publicity in the US authorities don't know how many serial killers are out on the loose, or who their victims might be because many move from state to state. What fuels these killers is a number of things from money to revenge and many unforeseen factors one of which might include notoriety. But trust when I say that regardless of publicity the message gets sent. There's media blackout in México many citizens only experience these things first hand and that's good enough to keep them in charge.- Knowledge

Is this the comeback for his killing? There is a lot going on there right now it seems?Would he have people who would take his killing like this and look for the ones who did it?

  12. Yes, lets just stick are heads in the sand like nothing is happening. That is exactly what the government of Mexico want's, so the killings can continue without answers and at no price. This all needs to come to light.

  17. --the addicted do not have much freedom of choice...
--those that benefit from others' addictions, have their own addiction to money...
--and there goes your claim about the exclusive separatista state of BB, since crime does not just happen on the borderlands mexico/US, crime extends from the south pole/ australia to the north pole and europe /asia, i think there is room to consider the international tentacles of crime, drug trafficking, politics and great international businessmen many times removed from the crimes of the zetas for example, but the same billionaire money launderers that get all the money to the banks and get all the impunity, i wish crime were constricted to the border, and all the money would get to stay there, and be reinvested there, but no way jose, all the money made, all the time, goes to foreign banks, all the time...
ask el chino antrax what he was doing on the uropas, i'm sure he wasn't trying to get to Uruapan, Michoacan...
--wonder who is going to get el chapo's billions?
--wonder who got pablo escobar billions?
--wonder who got amado carrillo fuentes billions?
--i bet that money is not in any borderlands banks on mexico or the US ...
--borderland beat's vision has become an international nightmare for some.

  19. Any one know about the narco mantas in obregon talking about they gona kill 5more singers????

    ReplyDelete
  20. maybe the governments need to make an asylumhouse where they can put all those chorrillo singers, neta, como, like leon de la sierra, los coyotes los tigueres y los jaguares, all of them wail like coyotes and sing to the same boring musical beats and tones, except for "Sonora y Sus Ojos Negros" de Miguel y Miguel...
inexplicably, tito torbellino has 36 + million followers on some of his youtube songs, and many other sinaloa singers' operatic wailings, have followers by the the tens of millions PER SONG TOO, could they be buying the numbers like el pri and the US republican party?
no doubt the yutz are too many and we are on the way out...
