Dutch Court Approves Extradition of Chino Antrax

Borderland Beat

THE HAGUE, Netherlands — A Dutch court has approved the extradition of a suspected top enforcer in the Sinaloa Cartel to face drug trafficking charges in Southern California.

The North Holland Court ruled Wednesday that the extradition of Jose Rodrigo Arechiga Gamboa was legal based on a request from U.S. authorities

Arechiga, who was not in court for the decision, can appeal, a process that could take months.

He was detained late last year at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, one of a series of arrests leading up to the capture of Sinaloa leader Joaquin Guzman, known as “El Chapo.”

Arechiga is also known as “El Chino Antrax,” one of the two leaders of a group of sicarios who call themselves the Anthrax.

  4. What ever happened to the rule of law in America? Is he being charged for things known AND unknown? That is illegal. You have to know exactly what he did and have evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. I know all you mental midgets and unbrave people are going to say "who cares he is a cartel member". But as wiser and smarter men have said: it is better for a guilty man to go free than a thousand innocent men be imprisoned. The most dangerous thing to come out of the war on drugs is not the drug gangs but the abandonment of our rights and protections in the name of fighting these people. Because i assure you, once the war on drugs or terrorism or drug terrorism is over, law enforcement is going to need to focus on something and i assure you nothing is more dangerous and damaging than the crushing force of the State against you.

    1. They get around the illegality portion of your argument by using RICO and Kingpin Act. Basically, an arrested organization member can legally be held accountable for other crimes committed by the organization.

    2. Do you really think the DEA is obviously to the main players in a cartel? I mean really? They probably got a folder the size of a bible on this guy.

Anyone who says, "hey europe UK it doesnt concern you" well I assure you cocaine is plentiful over here at the moment. So is this screwed up "New World Order" ideology b.s. Doesn't make a single bit of difference what you think, turn your heads, blame this guy, that guy, cartels, anyone BUT YOURSELVES.

  9. Anyone just hear Obama's "threats" about how strong US military power is right now and how happy he was to not intervene with foot soldiers in Syria because of how "devastating" US military might is? What happened to Afghanistan / Iraq? Were they victories? My point is.. You guys in the US and MX you just don't know how much the US Govnmnt actually wants total control of our "Western Society". This "War on Drugs" is just a part of this control, maybe an experiment - these powers would far rather have a dangerous enemy inside the tent pissing out than outside pissing in.

    Your quote:
"But as wiser and smarter men have said: it is better for a guilty man to go free than a thousand innocent men be imprisoned. The most dangerous thing to come out of the war on drugs is not the drug gangs but the abandonment of our rights and protections in the name of fighting these people."

I'll take my chances on this guy not being set free. Chino Anthrax is more than a cartel member, he is the leader of the murder machine, Los Anthrax. I won't go into details, but if you use the search function on BB just under the BB videos you can find out his history.

Our liberties have been slowly eroded since the Reagan Reign. And yet we still fight back with the recent "Legalization" in 2 states, Edward Snowden, Corporal Bradly, the ACLU and even the re-election of Obama.

    Peace,

  15. But remember, they have boat loads of information coming out of Vicente Zambada for 2 years. This guy was one of Chapo's boys so info on him is fair game. Your point is well taken about illegal use of any means to gain information and prosecute. This kind of makes me think about race and class wars. If the average white man, Mexican and Asian doesn't stand up for the Black man, who do the come for after the Black man goes down. Next the Mexican. Then the Asian, next the average income white man.

  22. @ 1:05 - To the "smart guy" that called us all "mental midgets"- This is an indictment, it is not a conviction by a jury. Its pretty much an allegation based on some evidence, it does not have to exactly specific as to all the facts involved. You will learn this stuff in your 2nd year of law school. Until then stay to what you know, and you obviously do not know federal constitutional criminal procedure.
