"New Tijuana Cartel" warns authorities: "Don´t mess with us or We´ll kill You"

Borderland Beat

NOTE: This is breaking news in Tijuana right now, if this manta tells the truth  then the criminal map as is known would change, those signing it are believed to be part of both CDS and CAF structures in Tijuana, although all of them were at some time part of CAF. There´s no mention of "El Ingeniero" anywhere in the manta. As more info is given, this post will be updated.

AGENCIA FRONTERIZA DE NOTICIAS. TIJUANA, BC: Unknown individuals who identified themselves as part of the "New Tijuana Cartel" warned the police to "Not mess with the Mafia", or they could be killed.

This threat was done today with a huge banner left in the upscale neighborhood of Playas de Tijuana at about 7:30 PM, the banner even had good grammar. The banner was taken away by the authorities and handed over to elements of the State Prosecutor´s Office.

The threatening banner was left in the "La Cuspide" bridge in Playas de Tijuana and is signed by "Grupos Unidos: Nuevo Cartel de Tijuana" (United Groups: New Tijuana Cartel).

Just a few months from the end of this administration, the message reads:

“Grupos Unidos Nuevo Cartel de Tijuana, mensaje para la policía municipal realicen su trabajo no se metan con la mafia, policía que decomise droga o detenga personajes del cartel serán acribillados”, firman: Atlante, Balas, Aquiles, El Chan, El Charro, miembros de bajo nivel Chapito, Tablas, Aguila, Tribi, Profe, Javier R4, Beltrán y Chencho Beltrán”.

TRANSLATION OF BANNER:

"United Groups New Tijuana Cartel, message to the municipal police, do your job, don´t mess with the mafia, any police agent who seize drugs or arrest a cartel member will be killed", signed: Atlante, Balas, Aquiles, El Chan, El Charro, lower rank members Chapito, Tablas, Aguila, Tribi, Profe, Javier R4, Beltran y Chencho Beltran"

This message is given after a series of "hard hits" by the local police, not only with seizures, but with the recent capture of some hit men after a double murder outside of a Car Wash.

As of this moment, AFN wasn't able to locate the police chiefs in order to get a statement.

ZETA magazine spoke with members of the Intelligence areas in the municipal police who mentioned they are awaiting the examination of the banner, however, they are also analyzing the possibility of this banner being a product of the groups fighting for the so-called Zona Norte(Tijuana´s red light district),

Another hypothesis links the banner to the arrest of a man (still unidentified by authorities) in a hotel located in Playas de Tijuana. This man was in possession of an undisclosed amount of "ICE"

  5. CAF is alive and kicking, staffed with fresh and highly motivated new recruits. This new layer will serve their masters to continue selling and distributing coke, heroin and MJ filling the pockets of the criminals and the corrupt at the top society (just like a ponzi scheme).

Learning point: crime is just like sports. It pays if you are high enough up in the hierarchy and there will always be a mass of willing new recruits trying to make a stab at the top of which 99% will miserably fail.

    4. Caked in the blood of the poor, this War on Drugs is an elephantine machine that gives US military control of Latin America & beyond. Machines don't have souls. It's always the destitute poor who carry the weight of the world on their backs. Entire national economies--not those of small "under developed" countries--are kept afloat by cocaine smugglers. Let's pretend that drug smuggling is erradicated. In which case, the hp gringo economy would suffer a 19%-22% loss; Mexico's 63%. Florida is the 4th most populated state. Every year, Locombia narcos inject at least $10 billion into Florida's economy, without the narco dollar the whole local banking system would collapse. There are only two highways-- the Narcos' & the governments'. Don Pablo Escobar's mistake was challenging the status quo in Colombian politics. He should have stayed on his side of the fence & accepted the fact that he was a criminal-- narcos aren't the law. The law is the narcos' antagonist, it's also the "balance" that makes everybody rich. You never know, when the law might, again, need a few billion to flush out a terrorist & take its begging bowl to the narcos for the $. Legalizing & sales taxes on ALL space powders & weed, on the other side of the coin would infuse economies across the planet. Hell, it could erradicate poverty for the first time in human history. Peace out, my sisters & brothers...

  6. take a page from the history books of Thailand

Reportedly thousands of extrajudicial killings occurred during the 2003 anti-drug effort of Thailand's prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Rumors still persist that there is collusion between the government, rogue military officers, the radical right wing, and anti-drug death squads.

They have a balanced budget and three political parties working together - and not stomping their feet and takin their toys home b/c their lobby doesn't get as much money as they wish to spend with them. CDS is a trainwreck in TJ, Chapo is desperate greedy mofo. CAF is embedded too deeply in TJ, San Diego and Los Angeles. This is Chapo propaganda designed to scare the police and intimidate CAF. Problem for the midget is the mafia in that city know exactly what is really going on, he can't fool them.

  23. Neither Chapo, nor the Arellanos are mentioned in the banner, right now, there´s a lot of confusion with this, some of those signing the banner are/were believed to be part of CDS(Atlante, Aquiles), and some to be part of CAF (El Chan, Don Balas, El Charro). It isn't clear were their loyalties(if any) are aligned with right now, some believe they re-united with CAF(ALL of them were at some point lieutenants in CAF), others believe they are a new faction of CDS with some autonomy (like the Beltranes were at some moment), and others believe this is a new group which is independent from both El Ingeniero and Chapo/Mayo (Mayo is the one with presence in Baja California).

    @October 8, 2013 at 9:56 AM;

They sent this message because the drug trade is a federal crime, they municipal police has no legal obligation to go after them, as absurd as this sounds, that´s the way law is in Mexico. Usually the Municipal police didn´t bother the cartel members, when Leyzaola took power in TJ, he went after them, now society pushes the municipal police to go after them, but legally, they have no obligation.

  52. The objective of any Mexico cartel that wants to move weight is to control lucrative corridors that lead to lucrative markets. In other words, controlling Tijuana or Juarez is not as important as controlling corridors outside of the city limits and maybe some within to get the product quickly into California and points beyond in the U.S.A. The cartels in Mexico fight each other to control territory for the purpose of moving product to the U.S.A. -- not for retail sales within TJ or Juarez. Although that is money also, sales within the 9. mil. people market of L.A. county sounds more attractive. I'am not even talking about the surrounding counties like Orange. The same with Texas and its 6 mil. people markets Dallas and Houston metropolitan areas. Controlling Mexico's major markets would make sense since that could generate profits. Like the control of of the 9 mil. people population of D.F. which is controlled by CDS.

  55. Residente de Tijuana CDS IS ALIVE AND WELL ALL OVER MEXICO, TJ is alive and well only in Tj but DEAD everywhere else think about it. CAF was big in the 90s but they're DEAD vs the magnitude that they had back then you gotta realize that unless they control half of mexico and not a fuckin corner on the map then you can say they're big shit remember that.

    1. Put yourself in CAF's shoes, if your family has been pushing drugs through that border into California the state that consumes the most drugs, why the fuck would you care about spreading to the rest of Mexico? They already have a money tree.

LOL pobre sonador, eres medio pendejo o te haces?, segun tu CAF sigue mandando pero todos los periodícos y la gente arrestada sigue diciendo que Sinaloa controla todo.

This guy is a fool, CAF has nothing left, they can not even get drugs the way they used to. Keep on dreaming Tijuana man.
