Zetas Money Laundering Trial Sentencings...Jose Treviño 20 yrs Others 160-240

Havana and Chivis for Borderland Beat

the sentencing is going very slow, evidence and witnesses must be presented for each of the five.

I am going to try this little post to give you breaking news and later the long post with details...

Jose Treviño Morales 240 months....20 years+ 3 years probation

Judge  Sam Sparks addressed Treviño: “No one in this court has alleged you are a Zeta. Your charge is  moving money for the Zetas.”

While Sparks says there is no question in his mind that Treviño knew what he was doing. “The thing that bothers me is, did you have a chance to say no?”

There is a challenge against the presentencing reports from the attorneys representing the remaining defendants.  This is causing a very slow process. Too many in one day and 5 more tomorrow.  Bad planning.  The courtroom is filled with attorneys and family members of the men.  13 attorneys and 40+ family members.

Francisco Colorado Cessa

240 Months-20 Years

Fernando Solis Garcia
160 months

 Eusevio "Chevo" Huitron
Not Sentenced Today tomorrow 9AM

  10. Thank you Chivis and Havana for keeping us updated. I´m glad Pancho Colorado got a long sentence too, that man is as dirty as it gets and he could put some high rank politicians in México in jail...that´s if there was any will to do some cleanup from the Mexican government, unfortunately that´s not the case :P

  11. He will do a little over 16 years if he is a model prisoner, that means not getting caught with a phone, mp3 or any electronic gadgets. he will get 30 months deduction for good time. If he qualifies for drug program he will get another 9 month deducted, and the halfway house of 6 months, most likely with a monitor a his home. Also when he is got less then 10 years remaining he might be eligible for a camp (no fence).

    1. somebody reported she was freehand also that Raul Salinas de gortari was let go,apologized to, and praised by judges and Pena Nieto, then he was made a minister of pemex in charge of selling it to himself...it was all a hoax, maybe to measure the reaction of the people to such outlandish plans, but I would expect shit like that from the messican government, under epn,16 000 dead in 6 months,OK,what I wanna know how many millions of dallers he got in the banks by now
