Sinaloa Governor confirmed yet another clash and at the same
time attempted to assure the public to remain calm as at no time has the
government lost control of security in
the state. He went on to confirm the
clash at Estacion Bamoa and confirmed of the 12 killed in the clash 10 were
soldiers and 2 were gunmen. Note: the Sinaloa State Attorney reported the reverse as 10 gunmen dead and 2 soldiers killed, and all of the later reports also stated 2 soldiers dead. While the majority of publications reported 12 deaths, others reported 10-13.
In the Sierra de
Choix, they continue to find more bodies in part from the clashes that
erupted last Friday and have continued.
The impoverished people of the hills are terrified, walking miles to
place a call and plead for assistance in evacuation their children to
safety. One mother who walked miles for
help to evacuate her 14 year old daughter said “They know things are dreadful and each day passes to continued
violence. The trucks pass and ignore our
pleas for help, and do nothing, it is because we are poor”.
Culiacan suffered
a burst of murders in various townships. The following includes some of those
deaths.
8:30AM a body was discovered, found with his ankles and
hands tied behind his back with rope.
4.9MM shells were found at the scene.
The body of a young person was found under a bridge at about
2:00PM. The body was seen being thrown
under the bridge by gunmen in a vehicle.
After depositing the body they poured gasoline and set the body on fire.
Authorities reported the body had signs of being tortured for several days.
A completely burned body was found at the bottom of Cerrode
Elefante. Passerbys saw what they
described as a steaming heap. Upon
closer inspection they realized it was a corpse.

They should try this because with the mass elections coming up its very possible a few Politicians, just might start campaigning on a restoration of Mexico.

ReplyDelete@10:38PM - This is not new for Sinaloa, may be new for other states but not here. We had similar situations in early 70's. Different years, different people, bullets from same calibers, 40mm were not around, but M60's, M16's AK'47's, as lethal as today's weapons. What we didn't have back then were so many drugged gunslingers. Dead is dead, as painful as when the Roman empire existed.
