Grupo Escorpión Pretend To Be Good Guys

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Among Mexicans there’s a crude joke about the Red Cross. And how whoever is tasked with having to recover all the busted up shit that’s left behind on a battlefield pretty much resembles that organization.

The Grupo Escorpiones, despite looking like living proof of this humorous metaphor, have disseminated a video of their captured enemies following several days of armed attacks in the state of Tamaulipas.

Each male captive is interrogated one after another. The intel is not only being gathered to better understand the conflict. It also purposely paints a narrative for Los Escorpiones that makes them appear to be noble after having rescued and rendered aid to the very gunmen who were previously trying their hardest to eliminate them.

Such is the hypocrisy between the warring cartels who seem to think they will be viewed differently because they took the time to release an apologetic video meant to win public favor.

The fate of the captured men is unknown at this time.

Video translation is as follows:

Sicario: Whats your full name?

Captive #1: Hector Martinez Mendoza.

Sicario: What was your job?

Captive #1: I was a bodyguard.

Sicario: Who were you personnel for?

Captive #1: For Sierra 4 aka La Pawa.

Sicario: Who was in charge there?

Captive #1: Sierra 4 aka La Pawa.

Sicario: Which specific group did you belong to?

Captive #1: I was a part of those filthy individuals Los Zetas.

Sicario: Where exactly did we apprehend you?

Sicario: Whats your full name?

Captive #2: Edgar Vicente Hernandez.

Sicario: What was your job?

Captive #2: I was a bodyguard.

Sicario: Which group did you belong to?

Captive #2: I was a part of Los Metros.

Sicario: Where did we apprehend you?

Captive #2: I was apprehended at the Curva del Indio.

Sicario: How did your apprehension come about?

Captive #2: It was right after an armed confrontation with Grupo Escorpión.

Sicario: What happened during that armed confrontation?

Captive #2: We were traveling with Commander Nijol. But it turns out he’s a piece of trash, a coward, a dumb ass who can’t keep his word. Nor does he have the balls to confront the Scorpion cartel.

Sicario: Is there a certain message that you guys want to send out to your buddies?

Captive #2: This war is pointless and is being done in vain. At the very least there’s nothing good that precedes Commander Nijol. You will only be forsaken out here.

Captive #4: I belonged to Los Metros.

Sicario: Where did we apprehend you?

Captive #4: It was after the armed confrontation that took place in Los Pericos two days ago.

Sicario: What happened during that armed attack?

Captive #4: We faced off with Los Escorpiones. They disarmed us and we were left abandoned. Our support never came through for us. I want to highlight something. The last thing we expected was for the Los Escorpiones to rescue us and take us to receive medical attention knowing fully well we were the enemy.

Sicario: Give me your full name

Captive #5: Juan Alberto Santiago Mendez.

Sicario:  What was your job?

Captive #5:  I was a guard for that filthy Commander Sierra 4.

Sicario: Where did we apprehend you?

Captive #5: In San Fernando, Tamaulipas. Behind the bar…

    They’re most likely worm food.

Insecure how? If it’s true, you are the one bragging all proud about a cartel that got smashed and packed out by Michoacános!

    5. 3:31 PM Golfos/Zetas gave the Michoacanos a hand to take out the Valencias. Once that happened Michoacanos allied with the Zetas when Osiel went down. The Michoacanos once the Valencias got cleaned out by the Zetas/Michoacanos flipped on the Zetas and formed LFM. El Chango Mendez was then betrayed and the Templarios were formed. CJNG with support of El Gerardon de Colima, Los Mendez, Chillangos, ex templarios that flipped on the Templarios then took Michoacan from Nazario and his Templarios. The ex templarios then betrayed CJNG alongside members of CJNG like El Abuelo Farias. In the end your blind statalism for Michoacan is blinding you. The Michoacanos have fallen into disgrace they have Los Viagra's from Guerrero ordering them around they have traitors and bajadores cobra cuotas running the state. While asking papa morena to defend them.

  8. Good karmic debt and having a clear conscious is better than fast, illicit gain$ or doing evil. I'd choose to live homeless and earn a simple living, than be a criminal.

(I was living in my brother's backyard in a tipi, when I did OTR trucking, for 5 years, saving like a crazy -- so I am not scared of these conditions)

Welp, it's horrid to see criminal activities (it really bewilders me, why choose to do it [there is ALWAYS honest work out there, no excuses]).

    1. @1223 exactly right, but a soul and values are required. Having the values of a goat turd being a heathen lazy fucking piece of trash is the easy way . Respect to you. Nothing is easy or free in life. Self respect is earned by hard honest work.

    2. Hey, I am 12:23pm. I am half Mexican and Kentucky Redneck. TBH, I think having a Dad (especially that is not a drunk) plays an important role to prevent criminals. I don't wanna say I get depressed, but it is a little demoralizing (the criminal activities). FYI, I get so fascinated with SpaceX (yet there are still people murdering for money/gangs/"respect"/etc). Again, I will gladly live in a f^^king tent for a few years, than earn evil money (my family are both tard'ed and investor class at the same time -- we all work good paying jobs, but do study the market/financial world for decades too {and are not greedy -- no f^^king "Lambo" or Italian Leather sh^t}). Okay, enough of my tard'ed blog. Saludos.
