Convoy for El Fresa Roam With Impunity

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

The narco ballad 'Jefe Fresa' by Nicolas García plays in reverence on film for Jose Alfredo Hurtado Olascoaga aka El Fresa. He is one of the leaders for the La Familia Michoacana in the Tierra Caliente region. In addition, he is also on the government’s long list of wanted criminals.

His convoy of gunmen is on the prowl in the state of Guerrero. The hired assassins, goons engaged in criminal activities for Hurtado Olascoaga, are roaming through their area of operations without a care in the world.

The La Familia Michoacana Cartel has been in existence for several decades now. They are a well-known drug trafficking organization based in the state of Michoacán. According to court documents, La Familia Michoacána controls drug manufacturing and distribution in and around Michoacán.

    2. Los Zetas were first ones, they were the first ones as well to put cartel logos on their Sicario uniforms

    4. @12 16, I believe you are correct, Zetas even gave challenge coins. La Barbie and Zetas initiated the bloody videos on social media. La Barbie even delivered a video to the Dallas media for entertainment. We have come a long way from the initial moments.

    2. Entertainment and mariscos isn’t really michoacanos specialty lol! The chinolas are the best entertainers for regional music and best mariscos! the chilangos best actors for novelas!

    1. This is one cell, not the whole cartel

      Delete
    2. Oh how scary. One cell or entire group in a convoy. https://www.dangerousroads.org/asia/iraq/10139-highway-of-death.html A paved highway running from Kuwait to Basra in Iraq was dubbed the "Highway of Death" during the Persian Gulf War after U.S. aircraft bombed a retreating column of Iraqi tanks and trucks, destroying 2,700 vehicles in all. Killing up to 10,000. A few A-10's, AH-64's, an AC130 or two. If the American and Mexican presidents were not enjoying all the cartel money this would be a real war not a car show.

La Raza Obrera was pretty good they play the Harp which is pretty impressive since it’s really hard to play.
What do you mean by Michoacán music anyway? Los Bukis, Los Huracanes del Norte, Los Razos, Los Felinos, Juan Gabriel, etc all these artist have some good songs/music you must be taking about music that’s out today not just in Michoacán but everywhere in the world in all genres. They don’t make good music anymore.
By the way these guys in the video are from Guerrero repping Michoacán since Tierra Caliente is a region both states share.

  11. Didn’t Fresa release a video where he literally explains where his mansion is? Close to the town mayor? 🦉

  12. La Familia Michoacána ceased to exist in its original form when Nazario Moreno González "El Chayo" was "killed" and shortly thereafter Jose de Jesus Mendez Vargas "El Chango" was captured during Calderon's presidential term.
Caballeros Templarios took control of Michoacán after that.
"El Pez" and "El Fresa" were underlings of "El Pony" but when he was captured they started taking control of his infrastructure and kept the name LFM even though they were based in Guerrero.
This song sucks. Gerardo Diaz y su Gerarquia are better representatives of the music from that area.

Emperor Maximilian who introduced polka to Mexico. By 1864, he had marching bands with European-style musicians ready to entertain him. Guey if it doesn't have accordions and tubas its not music.
