  8. Dumb question: Is this similar to Krokodil?

    1. 12:33 Not necessarily but is comparable at least at first glance. “Krokodil” was just desomorphine that was contaminated with phosphorus. Desomorphine on its own is fine. This xylazine stuff however seems to cause necrosis as an actual pharmacological effect from the drug itself.

  9. I don’t understand why dealers/distributors can’t just add ketamine instead if they really must “make it stronger” and/or add a heavy downer component to it. I wonder what happens to these dealers who are caught selling stuff laced with xylazine.. They must really not care about shit, even their own future as a dealer. Horrible business practice. I thought money was all that mattered? Why are they literally going out of their way to be excessively scumbagish?

    1. Is Ketamine as easily/readily available as these other mixing agents you mentioned? I’m assuming half if not more of the reason they choose x y z has to do with Price and accessibility.

    2. 4:10 I mean there’s no way ketamine would be harder to source than this obscure ass animal tranquilizer. Maybe they started using it because it couldn’t be as easily detected like fentanyl or other drugs but that seems like pretty weak reasoning to do this to your customers. Do these addicts go back to their dealers to ever complain or ask them wtf is up? If my body parts are falling off because of what my dealer gave me I would be coming back with many questions and concerns.
