Ecatepec, Estado de México: Two Bodies Found Outside The Chiconautla Prison

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

On Sunday morning, February 19, two decapitated bodies and the heads of a man and a woman were found outside the Chiconautla prison in Ecatepec, State of Mexico.

It was during the early hours of this Sunday that staff of the Sergio Garcia Ramirez prison were doing their rounds in the surrounding area when they found two headless bodies lying on Reclusorio Avenue, in the Santa Maria Chiconautla neighborhood, in a pool of blood right at the main entrance.

Security elements and the expert services of the Attorney General's Office of Justice of the State of Mexico arrived at the scene to cordon off the area and also to carry out the removal of the bodies.

The neighbors were the ones who alerted authorities about the discovery, and also mentioned that "This area is always secluded, I mean that there is very little surveillance, although many people come to visit, well, once the day is over we don't even go out; let's say that at 8 o'clock at night we prefer not to go out".

Message reads as follows:

Chucho, keep thinking you're tough shit. Bertin, Zerna, Chalio, and Guerrero. Your heads are next.
