Michoacán: The CJNG Behead A Captured Male

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A captive male under duress has been coerced into sending out a communique on behalf of the murderous Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Within the first broadcast the doomed male’s voice breaks towards the end in anticipation of his inevitable demise.

The second video consists of his beheading with a large fixed blade knife at the hands of his captors.

Several emojis have been purposely placed across the screen in order to offset the algorithms that would automatically ban this video from circulating on social media platforms.

In addition the song 'Clika Nostra' by Mexican rap group Cartel de Santa plays throughout the execution. The overall theme of this upbeat anthem references a dangerous Northern Mexico mob who pays all thieves with brutal death.

Video translation is as follows:

Mr. Mencho and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is the fucking boss here in the state of Michoacán and throughout all of Mexico. This will be the fate of everyone involved in bullshit.

Warning: Graphic Video

It’s been a fraction of a second (in history) that violence wasn’t clubs, spears, knives, swords, and even as an organized punishment in the US; burning suspected witches and hanging slaves - neither with the right to due process.

Only way to tell how willing you really are is simple get a revolver and play roulette pull the trigger. Mental gymnastics is one thing. The will to live is always stronger than the will to die no matter how messed up your situation is. That is why Manny killers rather spend decades in prison locked in a cage than spending seconds more on earth and have to restart the experience.

      Delete
    3. 9:14 when it comes right down to it you don't know how mentally you will react in those situations. Even tho you claim you would rather be shot you most likely wouldn't have the nuts to fight it and take the beheading

    7. 7:16 it takes much more nuts to be behaded (or even worse getting skinned alive or castrated, both of which are regular things that happen to those who picked up by narcos) than fight and get shot.

Expecially since you know that once you get apprehended by a cartel there is no way out of that.

      El culiacanense

      Delete
    8. 7:16 How does it take more nuts to get beheaded and skinned alive??? Do they do it voluntarily???!!! It doesn’t seem like it. It seems like they don’t have no choice in the matter. It’s not up to them if they’re beheaded or not! They don’t choose their fate! Shooting it out atleast you have a slim possibility of them just saying fu@&! That, let’s get out of here. When you’re a captive, you know what awaits

      Delete
    9. 2:25

Exactly. I can understand if someone freezes out of fear but if you live in dangerous cities you have to try to be ready, it’s not easy but it’s something that should be done. I’m Always packing heat and in my family nobody ever goes out without being accompanied by me or by my brothers (who are also well armed). I can’t legally carry but i don’t give a fuck, i’m not “tough” or anything like that but there is just no way that i’m going to be at the complete mercy of some Santa Muerte nutcase or some cartel. I try to stay out of trouble, and it work ed so far, but if troubles come to find me or a anyone in my family , they will have to kill me/us then and then or die trying, they ain’t going to castrate me or behead me, fuck that.

Also when you say “ Shooting it out atleast you have a slim possibility of them just saying fu@&! That, let’s get out of here. When you’re a captive, you know what awaits” you hit the nail on the head. It’s not like you can reason with cartels, or Santa Muerte whorshippers or deranged serial killers, if they catch you, you are at their complete mercy, they can castrate you, skin you alive, boil you alive in acid, all of that while you are drugged out by them so you can esperience pain to
The fullest, i’d rather shoot all of my family and then myself then allowing anyone of us to end up in those situations.

    13. 4:18

If, for any reason, i ended up getting involved with something related to the cartels, the first thing i’d do would be moving my family out of the country, in case i could’t go with them.

      El Culiacanense

      Delete
    14. @El Culiacanse. Your argument is circular. If you had the money to move your entire family ''out of the country'' - Where? How?- then you wouldn't end up on film in the first place, cos they don't go for the major players, they go for the poor little fuckers like this. If you are talking about the extremely rare cases of mid-ranking cartel figures or renegades like El Cholo, you misunderstand. You make it sound like a stand-off, and you'd choose death. There is no choice involved, but even if there was- El Cholo surrounded by CJNG sicarios with one bullet left, which is a cartoon version of how shit goes down- people will nearly always choose to live a few minutes longer, in hope. And when they are tied to a chair and the phones and knives come out they might regret it, but put them back where they were and they would do the same thing again, and again, and again.

  15. Some good comments here....
Me? Good, strong governments evolve to keep man's DNA encoded homicidal genes in check. When governments are weak, corrupted, or malfunctioning because of changes in the environment (wars, natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, plagues, etc) then certain kinds of humans becomes brutish... some homicidal.
Mexico, is a failed State...a brutish Nation pretending to be a government. Mexico is seriously corrupted and malfunctioning at all levels. In Mexico, many "certain" people can steal, rape, extort, cheat, lie, and murder with virtual impunity.
People who are decent, rational are cowered into inaction due to the imagined and real forces. The heroes who fight Mexico's evils know they are targets...some continue very carefully, some from hiding places, and some are caught and delt with severely... Remember "La Nena de Laredo"? I do!
I Mexico, some moms rue their daughters are pretty and some take measure to make them seem unattractive. Why? In Mexico, many kids aspire to be kiiler sicarios. Why? In Mexico, people do not trust the police, judges, even old friends and neighbors...sometimes their own cousins! Why?
Of course, we know why.... Mexico, is a failed State... only pretending to be a Nation.
    Go ahead, argue with me.

Well, I bet you take due precautions to not be victimized...and don't just jump in your vehicle and take off to Mexico.
Mi amigo, my post's main point is that "Mexico is a failed State"...only pretending to not be. Yes, most Mexicans are decent, moral, honest...Hey, guess what? These millions of good Mexicans are the primary VICTIMS of this failed State that is Mexico today.
The human machinery and software running Mexico is seriously flawed.... What runs honestly in Mexico? Law enforcement? Judiciary? Commerce? Military? Government at all levels? .... Sadly, even the overwhelmed Mexican morgues must take shortcuts due to underfunding and other related issues. How about jails and prisons...any problems here?
All the negatives above are derived from Mexican scholars and lay people who collectively opine that "Mejico esta jodido!"
Yes, most Mexicans are NOT to blame and certainly count as victims of their "failed State."
Things are so bad, that al their marches, demonstration, whining and weeping are like mere dust in the wind. Out of depressing anguish and symptoms of PTSD many Mexicans drift to the dark side.... like in the worship of Santa Muerte ...
BTW, I have not mentioned extremes of poverty, poor health, and extreme hard-pan layers of social stratification that keep Mexicans below glass ceilings and children noticing that their best options for a good life (hedonistic, materialistic) is to become chingones sicarios.
Again: Mexico is a failed State!

  19. To those who ask for stats and proofs about Mexico as a "failed State"... How about using Borderland Beat and its volumes of articles going back years as a chronological source?
Some doubters sound like apologists in deep denial... "Denial" is a symptom. Denial, like the millions of Germans during WW2 who had mountains of "facts" indicating the extermination of Jews, Gypsies, and "unfits"...
To those in "denial": We don't need scholars to tell us that it is raining.
Mexico is a Failed State.... Period!

    1. Mexico is far away to be considered a failed state, you dont have anything to support it thant your weak, useless and biased opinion, nothing else than that.

    2. It is a failed Country towards it's Citizens. Even the president Almo, can't have his cabinet, to get homicides low.
      36,600 homicides in 2021.
      It's going to hell.

    3. @9:28: MI amigo... I have been an avid Borderland Beat follower for many years (also monitor other web sites that cover Mexico).
My mind is swirling with endless stories of evil perpetrators' depravity .... with total "impunity" at the hands of so- called government. Depraved atrocities by the bus loads, whole towns held in gripping fear from gruesome acts and exhibits.... Virtual township mosuleaums and narco-corridos, to memorialize sicarios (outlaws all). And how about the criminality linked to huge $billions annually from smuggling humans and narcotics into the USA?
I am now seeing scenes in my mind of thousands of dead victims agreeing with me that Mexico is a failed State.
Where are you BB followers on my side?

    4. 229 you couldn't give me an accurate textbook definition of a failed state. Mexico is not a failed state. You follow Narco news and as a result you have a distorted perception of what you think mexico is like. I'm willing to bet you haven't visited Mexico in the last 10 years and if you have I'm100% confident that you did not witness extreme crime. If your mind swirls with endless stories its because you're spending way too much time on the topic. Get outta your house, you're turning into a cynical hermit.

    5. 2:02 Failed estate have its own definition, no matter what you believe it should be under your opinion.

AMLO was the only who manage to lower crimes.

You are giving nothing but weak arguments.

  20. to everyone: I filed a response to 4:15 but noticed it was NOT posted... It was a reasoned, polite response. I don't want to think it was censored by anyone at BB.
Oh well, I will just drop it here ... I'm too busy to sword play in defending my assertion the "Mexico is a "Failed State" (its GDP is materially and significantly bolstered from human and drug smuggling. What does that tell you? , blaa, blaa, blaa).
    again "Mexico is Failed State!"

You call "reasoned" naming failed estate something you dont like?

In real world / measurable / verifiable terms, is not a failed estate, no matter how hard you try.

You got nothing but a biased opinion, nothing else than that.

Please keep whining!, love to see you defending your lost cause, just like your assumptions.

    2. @Mexico watcher. You don't understand what GDP means. A countries GDP is official, it isn't bolstered by anything made illegally in that country. So when somebody points out the legitimate trade that Mexico engages in, that its GDP reflects, it is flat-out dishonest to pretend that most of that money comes from people-smuggling or drugs.

I explicitly typed them as "victims" of a failed State whose marches and demonstrations seem useless. Like the demonstrators for the "43 college students what happened with that?
I count numbers of Mexican heroes; among which are: La Nena de Laredo, Annabel Hernandez, Dr Mireles, Maria Gorostieta, as I type. La plata did not work on these heroes.... and some got the "plomo"!
No, my friend, I count many Mexicans as "victims" of overwhelming evils on "good, decent, hard working " people; many thousands who are converted into PTSD casualties. Yes, I figure that for every person raped, shot, tortured, dismembered, flayed, decapitated, or made into pozole that at least 8 loved ones are seriously traumatize for life!
O.K. maybe I've seen too many videos of massacres, varieties of tortures and homicides. To me, they are the drops of evil rain on my brain.... so don't tell me its not raining... Mexico is a "Failed State"!

      "DENIAL" is my mantra
So, give me a break, amigo....

    2. @I tell you what amigo- I'll give you a break if you stop watching those torture/execution videos and thinking its an accurate representation of a country. You'd be giving yourself a break too. I was questioning your frame of reference, and your terms, cos they are important. Almost everything you said about Mexico is true if viewed through a very specific lens, but the way you argued it made it sound like anyone who disagreed with your conclusion was denying the problems, even people who have actually suffered those things directly, and still do. But you accuse them, and me, people who weren't watching but living, of fkn DENIAL? Saying that there are good hardworking people in Mexico who are ''victims'' doesn't change anything if in the next post you act like they are the problem.

  24. Mexico is like this because it's next to the United States. All presidents of Mexico for the last few decades until AMLO drew favor from the US and enacted neoliberal policies keeping Mexican wages down and divesting funding away from education and other public services. The perpetual poverty that resulted from these policies is what drives desperate people further and further into crime and depravity. These puppet politicians also, unsurprisingly, are
The U.S. via the CIA and, more recently, poorly disguised "NGOs" like the NED push for this kind of politics all around the world.
You can always tell who the narco-politicians are in Mexico, Central, and South America because they are covered glowingly by the U.S. corporate propaganda press.
Unfortunately for AMLO and the Mexican people, the U.S. oligarch class has a firm grip on the throat of Mexico and most of Latin America.
He is up against a firmly established and extremely well funded operation which global capital (headquartered in the U.S. and U.K.) have been carrying out non-stop in every developing (and even developed) countries all across the world.
The only hope for change in Mexico would come from leaving the U.S. sphere of influence and joining the Russia/China bloc even if it causes short term financial difficulties. This is pretty much impossible with agents of global capital embedded in every institution in Mexico. It's the only way, however. If that is ever done, then the next step would be to weed out and deport/arrest/eliminate all those actors, both native or foreign born, who materially support the U.S. oligarch project— a project that maintain chaos and desperation in Mexico in order to grease the wheels of maximal exploitation.
