  2. this is very sad news, i had the opportunity to visit this hotel last year. everything was magnificent a very memorable experience. id say the best hotel and located in the best area of the island. Does anyone know of the cause? Might it been for not paying cuota/piso? or a politician whos interested in the land to build for his own interest? also do you think insurance will cover the damages?

    1. Wouldn't be surprised if comes out that caused that fire. Drunk tourists can be unpredictable at times.

  4. I bet there is some scumbag travel agent in the usa telling some cheapskate that instead of spending more and go to a safer country that this hotel is ok to visit right now.

  5. What a surprise! Holbox was a chill place some years back, but as Tulum is now saturated with less than pleasant tourists, many ventured out to Holbox and soon is becoming exactly what Tulum is now. Hopefully this paradise is not ruined.

  6. Please, Quintana Roo is not expensive. No smears will harm Mexican tourism because its beaches leave USA's beaches in the dust and its cheaper
