Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua: The Dark Days Have Once Again Returned

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Criminals leave a decapitated corpse a few steps away from the household appliance manufacturing plant Electrolux.

A decapitated male who was cut into pieces appeared on the Electrolux road. Human remains were scattered across the road on the pavement, 100 meters from the assembly plant.

The scene is located at Miguel de la Madrid and Artemio de la Vega streets. In addition the remains were wrapped in a shaded blanket with the head inside a bag.

  1. For some strange reason corpses have been dumped in and around the Electrolux assembly plant for a number of years now. It seems to be a favorite dumping ground for organized crime. There are countless other news articles out there that attest to this. It's almost like this place is cursed.

    1. Do you think they dump bodies there due to the plant being south of the city and it’s just an easy out?

    2. I dont think they randomly dump them there, must be workers or to threaten the company to pay extortion fee’s. Or maybe some other foreign people paying low lifes to terrorize the business so they can move from Juarez

    3. That is very interesting - I am impressed you noticed these two events so many years apart. There is definitely something going on here.

    4. For some "strange" reason they've been dumped all over the city not just assembly plant. Duh

    5. They dump bodies on Electrolux area and Camino real because of the lack of municipal police and traffic in general (both on the urban edge of the city). Also easy access from there to the local unpaved roads and other main roads. Bodies left there are supposed to be finded.

  4. Anyone know if the Carrillo Fuentes family still controls Juarez?

    1. None of the Carrillos had been in control since 1997.

    2. Vicente Carrillo hold off the biggest war the juarez cartel been in. They weren't even as powerful as the Amado times now a days, una mujer Carrillo controla en Chihuas

    3. Vicente Carillo was in control of CDJ for 17 years after his brother died in 97, he wasn't arrested until 2014. After Amado died, Mayo, El Azul, and the Beltran Levyas all worked for him until Chapo left prison in 2001 and the Federation.was established. They were still uneasy allies for a few years until they started killing each other's relatives, which eventually escalated into the full scale war in Juarez in 2008. Vicente was in control of Juarez for all of this. It could be argued that he and CDJ had lost "full" control of Juarez probably somewhere around 2010.

    4. You really believe Amado died

    5. There is plenty of evidence that Amado died, how it happened, and the events that occurred during the aftermath. What evidence have you seen that makes you believe the theory about him faking his death and still living somewhere outside of Mexico is true? Once these guys get to the levels they are at in that life, it is no longer about the wealth and a luxurious lifestyle. They become addicted to the power. These guys would never be able to sit on a beach in Indonesia or the UAE getting drunk and hanging out with young girls for long. Chayo faked his death and lived like a ghost on the run for 4 years. But he still had the power. Look at Chapo's lifestyle before he got caught for the second and third time, he was living like a bum in Culiacan for the most part. Even Mayo. Doesn't need the luxurious life, just the power. Was happy to have JGL get all the press and make the world believe he was the only top leader of CDS. Mayo and Chapo Isidro are the smartest narcos out there. Probably more that we have never heard of.

    6. 9:29 After Amado's "death" none of the Carrillos holds control on the Juarez cartel.... and not sure what do you mean with "chihuas"...

    7. 11:15 Vicente Carrillo wasn't an important figure of the Juarez Cartel after his brother "died". He was arrested because government needed to legitimate their war against cartels, but he wasn't someone relevant by then, except for his past and last names. In fact, Vicente didnt control anything besides being trustworthy during his brother presence, nor JL or "El Diego" were never "bosses" of the cartel. In fact, Cartel de Juarez was never defeated.

    11. 12:40 No, they have old money, which they can use to live without problems for the rest of their life. Remaining members are living mostly in Sinaloa, and probably a few still in Sonora. Remember what happened to Cesar Carrillo and Vicente Carrillo Leyva when they tried.... Now days none of the Carrillo's take part of the Juarez Cartel since 1997. The older members/families that were in charge before Amado took power in Juarez just took over after his "death", at the same time inheriting an enormous platform, routes, infrastructure, power, connections, properties, etc...

      Delete
    12. That's interesting. I would think that Vicente Carrillo Fuentes still has his people running something in the way of loads while he is locked up, still have some influence over La Linea....

      Delete
    13. 1:44 Wasn't the case when he was free, not the case now that hes in jail. None of the Carrillo's had a something to do with Cartel de Juarez since 1997.

  6. Like i've said before.. Ciudad Juarez HAS NOT changed from the days when El chapo was fighting for this plaza. Bodies are still falling everyday at about the same rate. Nobody's looking because People are too busy staring at Tiktoks from those Cds takuaches

    1. You have no idea on what your saying... There is no comparison.

    2. You right the murders never stopped it went up and down throughout the years but the violence didn't even compare to the chapo war

      Delete
    3. 5:19 no mames! Juarez qas i another level, thanks to chapos heating the plaza, the only other war that can kind of compare was TJ, AFO vs CDS war, but still Juarez was worse, Z's vs Golfos was brutal, but there were more killings in Juarez than any where else, thanks to chapos killing inocents to heat up the plaza in order to bring in the government, pinches chapos jotos, where they at now? No where near Juarez ill tell you that

      Delete
    4. Juarez had so much more killings because it wasn't just cartel sicarios vs cartel sicarios like in tamaulipas michoacan etc but it was that and also powerful street gang vs powerful street gang in the mix. Both sides affected the civilian population badly and too not forget los verdes a using innocents
