At Least 10 Blockades And Vehicles Set On Fire In Tijuana; No arrests

 "Ivan" for  Borderland Beat

Authorities such as the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the municipality and the fire department have not confirmed the number of fires attended.

During this afternoon in Tijuana there have been at least 10 blockades with vehicles set on fire in different areas of the city, with no injuries reported so far; authorities such as the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of the municipality and the fire department have not confirmed the number of fires attended.

The points where blockades and fires have been reported are:

Second Street, at the height of the 5 corners.

El Chaparral bridge.

El Pato Canyon Bridge.

In front of the Smart and Final on Agua Caliente Boulevard.

In the Los Altos neighborhood, near the Colegio Niños de América.

In front of Innova Sport on Bulevar Salinas.

In the parking lot of the Hipódromo.

Plaza Pacifico on Libramiento Rosas Magallon.

Colonia El Soler towards Playas de Tijuana, Segunda Street.

At the Central Camionera.

In response to the events, the Mayor of Tijuana, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, issued a message on her social networks where she condemned what happened and informed that she was coordinating with state and federal authorities and the armed forces to collaborate in the investigation of the events that took place this Friday, where public transportation and cargo units were set on fire.

"We will not allow a single Tijuana citizen to pay the consequences of those who did not pay their bills, today we say to organized crime to those who are committing these crimes that Tijuana will remain active in taking care of its citizens and we also ask them to collect the bills from those who did not pay what they owe them, not to the families, not to the citizens who work," said the mayor in her message.

The Autonomous University of Baja California, Tijuana campus, suspended classes and urged students of all grades to take shelter at home.

In different areas of the city, heavy traffic was reported due to the participation of police and firefighters to mitigate the disaster areas produced, according to official versions, by members of the Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation cartels.

The U.S. Consulate in Tijuana also instructed its personnel to take shelter.

"What a tragedy, what impotence and what fucking anger. Now in my homeland Baja California. Those of you who are there, please stay in your homes, yesterday in Cd. Juarez 11 people were killed in criminal and cowardly actions apparently at random".

    3. it could be the cjng crying because of what happened in guadalajara but lately cjng is weak in tijuana it could be that it was also related to what happened in juarez chapos vs mexicles but in tijuana as far as is known there are no people from the mexicles in case of being cjng let that organization be prepared because a wave of arrests is going to fall on it if it is already reeling now with more important detentions are going to start falling in big pices
have a nice day whoever is reading this

    5. Im In Tijuana. Near Zona Centro. And I personaly hadnt never seen this type of warfare here. Uts 50/50 in Tj. Sinaloas(Aquilles y La Rana. And bunch other Cliques Associated With Chinolas. But CJNG also strong how strong we'll? Since 2015 they have been taking over. Keep in mind though that I Jalisco and Guanajuato. They lets El Apa And el Double RR GO. Unless it's to heat up the plaza and chinolas fault. Let's remeber the Government may or will not say who or what. Because they may have bee. Paid a bribe to be free. To save face they will make something up. The truthay never be known. Just understand that it's Organized Crime. And this is Ground 0 for it.

I do not think that Juarez and this is connected. May e down in Jalisco..... but again they were realesed so????

Details may always be in the dark unfortunately bro.

    3. After Culiacanzo all cartels. Or wannabes. Have a Plan B . When authorities are about to creep up and try tu capture. El Apa had already been captured once and let go. Because of some "Technical isssue" Mexico is a different country unless you have been around the place. You really won't understand what amd who Is going on. But right now CJNG os so big. That at any time (like Colima, Tj, Mazamitla, pájaros Sierra, Michoacan) those groups leader can backstabbing Boss man . And just break off. ( pájaros Sierra) And in Colima. Is a good 3xampl3.

All my people in TJ be safe. Everything is calm. But Luke any other day. Eyes open, mouth shut, from poi t A to Point B.

Not a good time to go to the xonnnectas. Beleive that. Sure no more product anyway. Glad im on Methadone. Take care. And dont let this dictate our lives.

Whay happened last night was because the Gov. Didn't want them to keep on destroying . So they just shut it

  14. "Alberto Capilla..."
is that Jesús Alberto Capella Ibarra alias "El Rambo de Tijuana"?
Supposed to be back in Tijuas but not on Square one, that is México City from where he came to "Vini, Vidi Vici" and take over tijuana for his chilango co-conspirators through "activism" that quickly put his ass at the top of police food chain and from where he and julian leyzaola catapulted to Morelos, CD Juarez and Cancun, always where the good cheese is like the rats they are.
