1,600 Kilos of Cocaine Seized by Mexican Navy Near Aquila, Michoacan

"Socalj" for Borderland Beat

Semar intercepted two boats with 1,600 kilos of cocaine and fuel arresting three while several more escaped.

According to the report of the naval agency, the seizure was in a town of Aquila, a municipality disputed by the (CJNG) Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel and cells of Héctor Zepeda Navarrete, El Teto, and Germán Ramírez Sánchez, El Toro.

The Secretary of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, reports that, in recent days, personnel assigned to the Fourteenth Naval Zone managed to secure a total gross weight of approximately 1,600 kilograms of alleged cocaine, around 432 liters of fuel and other effects, as well as the arrest of three alleged transgressors of the law, in Barra de Nexpa, municipality of Aquila, Michoacán.

This action derived from field and office work, through which it was learned of a probable transfer of illicit cargo, for which various units of this Institution were deployed by air, sea, and land to provide timely follow-up; a Persuader plane, from where an allegedly stealthy boat with three outboard motors was located, and two surface units that carried out the surveillance and interception pattern.

The crew of the first boat was able to reach the beach and escape, leaving behind the boat and cocaine.

The crew members of the suspicious boat, when they were surprised, increased their speed, reaching the beach, where they managed to escape; Right there, already on the land, naval personnel aboard various vehicles intercepted the boat, securing it with the alleged illicit cargo. Sometime later, that same day, another boat with various effects on board was secured. An MI-17 and a Panther helicopter also participated in this operation, as well as specialized Marine Corps personnel.

As a result of the foregoing, the following was made available to the corresponding authority: 32 packages containing white powder with the characteristics of cocaine, with an approximate total gross weight of 1,600 kilograms; two boats with two and three outboard motors, respectively; various drums with a total of approximately 432 liters of fuel; and other effects, such as communication equipment. Likewise, during this operation, three presumed transgressors of the law were arrested, and they were made aware of their Human Rights.

Both the people arrested and the alleged illicit cargo and the seized effects were made available to the Attorney General's Office of the Republic, for the integration of the corresponding investigation folder.

    4. Dominicans have it cheap in ny and Boston but they can't plug u with 500 kilos plus at a time like the mexicans can maybe for 10 or 20

    5. @3:02, yeah I believe that is true but they can definitely off 100 pieces at a time. The Puerto Ricans as well. Those 2 typically work hand in hand as Puerto Rico is a nice trampoline since it is US territory and doesn’t require customs after that. But it all flows thru RD first.

    7. 12:05 The price for cocaine doesn’t change mate. That’s kind of the whole point and why the price has stayed steady for decades. Not sure what you mean by later months because some of the best coke I’ve ever gotten was in late October/early November.

    2. Michoacan is a shithole because michoachangos turned it into that. It's not that they're "with the business" it's that they don't know how to run a business. All that violence, all them videos, all that trying to take over territories is not "keeping their mouths shut" as you claim. It's the opposite.
