Mexico City, CDMX: Union Tepito Enforcers Viciously Attack A Worker

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Warning: Graphic Video

La Unión Tepito is a cell-based criminal organization in Mexico City, named after one of the capital’s largest neighborhoods. It is currently one of the city’s main criminal players, funding itself from microtrafficking, human trafficking and extortion.

Within the following broadcast a local worker is being viciously assaulted because of his refusal to pay a mandatory extortion imposed by criminals. Two enforcers from the Union Tepito use wooden planks to strike their victim across his head and torso. A third aggressor records on video the barbaric attack.

The helpless victim’s pleas for his adversaries to stop fall on deaf ears.

Intelligence agents from the Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City have already arrested two of the extortionists involved in this crime.
