Culiacán, Sinaloa: Gaspar Was The Brother Of 'El Che', The Man Who Produced Up To 300,000 Fentanyl Pills A Day

Gaspar died after being shot to death at the north exit of Culiacán.

Gaspar Gastélum Escobar, shot to death this Thursday by an armed group at the north exit of the city of Culiacán, in the vicinity of La Presita, is the brother of José, alias "El Che", arrested in March 2021 in the Sinaloa capital .

'El Che' is considered one of the most important operators in the production of fentanyl and the main supplier of the Sinaloa Cartel.

He has been singled out as “the man who could produce up to 300,000 fentanyl pills every day”, which could represent earnings of 60 million dollars a week.

'El Che' was arrested in an operation in which elements of the Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat and the Attorney General's Office participated, with searches of different homes in the Campesina del Barrio neighborhood, east of the city.

Presumably, "El Che" was wanted by the United States Government because he was the largest distributor of the narcotic that has caused a crisis of deaths due to overdose of synthetic opioids in that country. Reports have highlighted that this subject trafficked from the East coast to the West coast in the US and covered at least 21 cities.

  3. Gaspar was from a town Calomato not to be confused with Calomatillo. If you ever been to Dique Mariquita or Pericos or that area you were very familiar with him and his bros. Che was released and isnt locked up anymore. And ches brother chuy died at the end of 2018 coming back from surutatazo in a accident with his truck.
