Tizapán El Alto, Jalisco: Pajaros Sierra, The Mob That Betrayed CJNG, Kidnaps A Businessman Who Refused To Sponsor Them

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Hitmen wanted a businessman to give them money for their self-defense movement and thus stop the advance of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel in some areas.

Pajaros Sierra, the mob of assassins who betrayed the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), kidnapped a businessman who refused to sponsor their self-defense movement in the state of Michoacán. A person captured with his cell phone, the armed criminal cell of the Pájaros Sierra outside some offices, in the state of Jalisco. They demanded their victim to cooperate with the drive of the self-defense groups. They’re trying to stop the advance of the CJNG in Michoacán, both states located on the Mexican Pacific coast. It is worth mentioning that now the Pájaros Sierra are allies of the United Cartels.

The moment in which the Pájaros Sierra, now allies of the United Carteles, go visit a businessman to ask him to sponsor the Self-Defense Forces. This in Tizapan el Alto, Jalisco, near the state of Michoacán. The businessman refused to cooperate and was abducted. He is currently missing.

Who are the Pájaros Sierra?

They’re an armed wing of hit men, made up from the elite group of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. They’re linked to the execution of 17 people during a funeral in the state of Michoacán. After this episode, which was a revenge between the CJNG hitmen themselves, the Pájaros Sierra mob broke away from the criminal organization to join the United Cartels.

After the betrayal of the Pájaros Sierra gang, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, better known as El Mencho, founder of the CJNG, ordered the execution of a subject identified as alias Palillo, regional chief of the armed wing. In the Mexican media and on social networks, there is talk that Mencho has serious health problems and the succession in the leadership of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel is being prepared. A situation that bothered the Pájaros Sierra mob, they refuse to follow orders from Mencho's relatives.

There was even a rumor of the alleged death of Mencho, but so far it hasn’t been confirmed. Something similar happened in the state of Colima, where the Mezcales cell turned its back on the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and became the Colima Independent Cartel.

    1. Not really, if the people being mentioned for succession and they're seen as weak, grimey, greedy, unfair, selfish, doesn't take care of his people or seen as not to intelligent or not trust worthy or a combination of those things, it's understandable. Maybe he has a personal beef with some of them. Either way, you don't know but are quick to judge.
