Mexico City: CJNG May Have Used CDMX Police Officers To Gun Down Jacobo Razón Avayou

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) employed agents from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City to kidnap and then murder a member of the Jewish community.

The cartel paid 20 thousand pesos to each agent.

Investigations by the CDMX Prosecutor's Office reveal that Eugenio Manuel Fernando Salazar Treviño, "El Cartuchos", alleged operator of the CJNG, ordered the "abduction" of Razón, who was intercepted by the police when he was driving to the FGR to file a complaint.

According to the investigation, at the time of being kidnapped, Razón spoke on the phone to Avi Raphael Sitton, a real estate businessman who lived in Cancún and for whom he worked.

Ambush

On November 24, at 8:30 a.m., Jacobo Razón Avayou left his house in Huixquilucan in his black Hyundai Accent.

That morning, on the way to the FGR, Razón didn’t notice that a black Mazda with license plates JFR4494 was following him closely.

At 8:49 a.m., a C5 camera recorded the moment when a patrol car with license plates MX-728-P2 caught up with Razón's car on Avenida Stim, at the intersection with Paseo de Laureles, in the Bosques de Reforma neighborhood.

Former agent Sánchez Reyes and his girlfriend got out of the Mazda and approached the patrol car and the victim.

The Directorate of Internal Affairs of the SSC reported in an official letter that agents Ricardo Daniel Torres Vázquez and José Pedro Aguilar Sánchez had the patrol under their protection, while their colleague, Rubén García Arista, had been in charge the day before.

Aguilar Razón was taken to a cabin that Sánchez Reyes had rented in a place called Cabañas y Eventos Taati Keri, at kilometer 2 of the Picacho Ajusco highway, in the Tlalpan colony.

'The gangster'

On November 26, at around 5:51 p.m., Sánchez Reyes met "El Cartuchos" outside the Italianni's restaurant at 222 Plaza Reforma.

At the end of the meeting, the former police officer sent a message to his girlfriend Joselín to ask her to get two caps, one for him and one for her.

At 8:25 p.m., the capo sent a voice message to the former agent to explain on the spot all the details of access to the building, the parking lot included, as if he had been there before.

I see everything complicated, because there is no access to the car, access to the car is closed, there is a container there, I have to go through reception, "said Sánchez Reyes, who was already accompanied by his girlfriend.

Oblivious to the environment, the former agent still sent him a photo of the censor that he had in his hand to ensure that he was referring to that device and asked again for the apartment number.

At 9:45 p.m., Sánchez Reyes found what he was looking for in the apartment: "Mission accomplished sir. I have it!" He exclaimed in a voice message.

Camouflage

Sánchez Reyes made a mistake that he would pay dearly for. Despite the fact that he was a police officer, the 37-year-old subject believed that painting the car white, with brush strokes, it would be enough to drive daily without being detected.

The evidence led the Prosecutor's Office to ask a judge for permission to intercept the telephone calls of "El Cartuchos" and various agents of the Yaqui sector.

On December 18, Joselín Nava Montañez, the girlfriend of Sánchez Reyes, was arrested for drug dealing and bribery.

The gangster operated from the Narvarte colony

Fernando Salazar negotiated from the Narvarte neighborhood the sale of drugs and weapons in Mexico City.

Telephone conversations that were intervened with judicial authorization show that Salazar placed Uzis submachine guns and Smith & Wesson 380-caliber laser equipped pistols, among others, on the black market, at prices ranging from 25,000 to 50,000 pesos.

Don’t mind the clown haters. I’m slowly getting rid of them all. I’ve already got my eye on the next bright bulb. 😝

  10. This article was going good until the author of the article convoluted it.
Reminds me of another writer, that said The same bullet killed a gang member, then says the same bullet killed a lady walking to the store, the same bullet killed a dog.
