"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
Six narco traffickers, alleged members of a criminal cell of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, were captured by the Secretariat of Public Safety in a preventive operation to combat crime.
The capture occurred when the security agents deployed their prevention and surveillance patrols in the vicinity of the Cordobés municipality. There they detected a Chevrolet Spark, with the license plates A432XEF, officers observed that the occupants of the taxi were carrying firearms.
Immediately, the state elements signaled for them to pull over to carry out a prevention inspection; In the search, they found a sub machine gun, long weapons, various firearm magazines, ammunition and drugs.
The detainees were identified as Benito "N" alias "El Panchon", Fidel Alejandro "N", Miguel Ángel "N", Juan Carlos "N", Marisol "N" and a minor.
It should be noted that Benito "N" alias "El Panchon", is identified as being an alleged member of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in the Atoyac area and the surrounding municipalities.
The detainees and the insured were made available to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) for the corresponding investigations.
