Murders Continue In Fresnillo, Zacatecas

Four homicides were registered in different parts of the municipal seat

Violent events occurred at different points in the municipal seat of Fresnillo, Zacatecas. 

In different events that occurred in the municipal seat of Fresnillo, Zacatecas, at least four people were killed during this Tuesday.

At 9:30 in the morning, residents of the Manuel M. Ponce neighborhood found a suitcase and a plastic bag, which were in the middle of a public highway, for which they reported the finding to the 911 Emergency System.

Elements of the Municipal Police went to the scene and confirmed that human remains were found inside the suitcase.

Then, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the 911 Emergency System was reported that a man was on Barreno Street, in the heart of the municipal seat, he had gunshot wounds.

There were rescuers from the Red Cross, in addition to the municipal police who went to the scene and found that the victim was already dead, he was identified as Juan, 25 years old.

Shortly afterwards, in the Del Valle neighborhood, a 16-year-old minor was the victim of an armed attack that took his life.

At two thirty in the afternoon, in the Esparza neighborhood, in the atrium of the Church of the Holy Cross, a human head was found inside a plastic bag.

Experts from the Attorney General's Office went to each of the places, protected the evidence and opened the corresponding investigation folders.

The bodies were transferred to the Forensic Medical Service for the legal autopsies.
