8 Alleged CJNG Members Linked To The Kidnapping Of Two Sailors

"Parro" for Borderland Beat

The connections were dictated by control judges assigned to the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Jalisco, who imposed on all the measure of preventive detention ex officio

A federal judge linked eight alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel ( CJNG ) to the trial, who could be involved in the kidnapping of two elements of the Secretary of the Navy , which occurred last November.

They are Laura "M", Manuel "V", José "H", Juan "R", Brandon "F" and Francisco "M", who were linked to proceedings for crimes against health and carrying firearms for exclusive use of the Army, Navy and Air Force. And of Alma “G” and Alejandro “O”, for kidnapping, crimes against health in the form of possession for the purpose of trading methamphetamine and marijuana; possession of magazines, rounds and explosive devices for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces and collection of instruments suitable for attacking.

The connections were dictated by control judges attached to the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Jalisco who imposed on all the measure of preventive detention ex officio.

According to the Attorney General's Office ( FGR ) Laura "M", Manuel "V", José "H", Juan "R", Brandon "F" and Francisco "M" were arrested on December 2 by elements of the National Guard ( GN ) during a surveillance tour in the Jardines Alcalde neighborhood in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

The elements observed the accused leave a building with weapons, which is why they started a chase that ended in their arrest.

At the time of capture, the men were assured of a firearm and all methamphetamine.

Alma "G" and Alejandro "O" were detained by elements of the GN in coordination with Semar and the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) during a search procedure at a home located in the La Calma neighborhood, in Zapopan.

During the search, the elements released a kidnapping victim and located doses of methamphetamine, marijuana, a long firearm, magazines, rounds, homemade explosive devices, telephone equipment, communication radios, laptop, scales, tactical vests , knives, handcuffs, striking boards and documentation.

  1. Pretty sure someone was tortured for the information & whereabouts of these individuals.
How else would this have transpired.

    3. To 654 or anyone on here that says something silly like "asking and making it an issue of someone's sexual preferences"

First off i respect the contributors on here. When i came to this site i used to see some of you write all these negative comments towards people like Sol. And I'm amazed they were allowed.
I come from a very humble village in Dominican Republic. And i was taught to RESPECT, and have VALUES. And some other things i see some are lacking here like MATURITY.

I believe in treating others as i want or expect to be treated. Get it together. My preference wouldn't matter. Figure it out. And let it be whatever makes you happy.

    4. Nurse Rubio
We keep telling you, Dr. Sol is fine and in good health. Pampering someone that is fine is plain silly. That's why some think you like the other type. Also Sol gets a ton of respect, he is getting botles of vodka for Christmas.

  3. I’m glad to see the crime in Mexico is slowing down. I remember back in 2010 BB had articles every day and almost 2 or 3, and they were gruesome. Nowadays is one article here and there and sometimes they have nothing to do with drugs or violence. I guess Mexico is moving forward.

    8. Paisa, I can't recall the last time you submitted an article? When exactly was this?

    9. You can’t not recall because I was using a different name. I translated articles for BB from 2010 until 2013 and then I had a disagreement with management.

    10. You know crime isn't slowing down.

You just want to complain that the two or three active contributors left aren't posting as often as you'd like them to on the weekend that comes right before a major holiday, when most people travel.

Sorry the unpaid volunteers didn't give up enough of their spare time because they wanted to visit their families at Christmas or something.

      Stop being a crybaby 😂.
Volunteers need time with families, furthermore no much people will comment during the holidays. Wonder why you got kicked out from BB?

Whatever happened to Yankui, there was a time, she was churning articles like never. Last I heard she is at her ranch, tending to chickens, goats, burros.

    14. It would be great if this was a legit comment and not passive aggressive sarcasm. I'm not directly aware of your past issues with "management" but I've been here long enough to have seen and faced similar things myself. For what it's worth I also remember times, when others were in charge, that even less articles were posted despite the massive amount of violence taking place. Maybe it's just me but I value quality over quantity, which is what got me removed as a mainboard reporter years ago. My apologies if I'm interjecting myself into something that doesn't pertain to me but from my perspective too many good people have been driven away from here over the years and I'd hate to see negativity affect the amazing talent we have in HEARST.
