Over $48 Million Worth of Methamphetamine Seized by CBP at Brownsville Port of Entry

 "Socalj" for Borderland Beat

Buckets containing nearly 2,445 pounds of methamphetamine seized by CBP officers at Brownsville
Port of Entry.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Veterans International Bridge intercepted a load of alleged methamphetamine, hidden within a 1997 Freightliner truck. “This substantial seizure illustrates the importance of remaining vigilant and our CBP officers used their experience and enforcement tools available in keeping these dangerous narcotics from entering our country,” said Port Director Tater Ortiz, Brownsville Port of Entry.

The seizure took place on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Veterans International Bridge when a 60-year-old male Mexican citizen applied for entry into the United States driving a 1997 Freightliner truck. The truck was referred to CBP secondary for further examination after a primary inspection. In secondary, CBP officers discovered 62 buckets which contained a total of 2,444.92 pounds of alleged methamphetamine.

CBP officers seized the narcotics along with the vehicle, arrested the driver, and turned him over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents for further investigation.

    1. Hi I used to watch Fat Albert cartoons.

    2. @Albert--That's what they do. Back in the day my friend got busted with a "million dollar pot operation", which the authorities alleged. He said in reality it was only half a mil.

    3. I was busted by san leandro police for cultivation & the fuckers included the semi-shaken roots in the weight measurement. But when you go up to FED level, it's open season with few rules. Example, small time feds like the air stewardesses- ever since they went "federal" back in the 80's, ALOT of passenger probs appeared. That's bc of the arrogance of their new 'dont even LOOK at me cross!' badge. This landing a plane prematurely bc spmeone hasn't a mask is more fed abuse. Enuf ranting.

Creating increase paranoia, hallucinations, late schizophrenia and rapid brain damage. Explains a lot of stuff, not all but interesting science.

  7. That's way over inflated numbers 48 million!! That garbage is only worth about a thousand to fifteen hundred a pound even after it crosses into the United States!! It's a supply-and-demand thing and there's plenty of that garbage out there!!

  8. Even Rio Da Young OG says it in a song.

"What you want $1k for a pound?.. Finna grab that."

And that's in Detroit (Flint to be exact). I would think that it would go for at least $1,500 way up north.

  9. Assuming that the meth belongs to Cjng......why don't they just construct a underground tunnel in order to avoid detection and seizures?

    ReplyDelete

    1. You can’t build tunnels on the Tamaulipas border due to the Rio grande caving in on you ... Chihuahua to Tijuana is fair game for tunnels and we all know who controls those plazas.

    2. Doesn't cjng have a pact with La Linea in Chihuahua?

It isnt unless they gave you diaharea on purpose and if thats the case then its game on but the last thing you ever want to do is get into a literal shit fight with someone because it never ends well and it escalates quickly. 11. You have to be 100% Mexican and 100% US American to understand this comment you wish to understand. This is the land of the chosen ones. That's why nobody wants to go back to their homeland when they get here. They realize it ain't as good back home. You have to be real street to know what I write. You must definitely be on a sabbatical to to get it. You also have to be ready in the moment to risk it all. But mainly you gotta be losing yourself as of now to get what it is that I say. It is the truth of all truth. I've been called and whether you know the meaning of what being called means is no concern. Just know I'm here to help you understand it. In freedom you can go on in believing or not believing. They are both your wills. What you will is no business of mine. My concern is my will. You gotta do it anyway. So you better know what will you are signing on to.

México is not forcing or even enticing anybody to do drugs, blame it all on mexican and their foreign partner businessmen that do the national pastime of drug trafficking. Zzz's
