Two La Familia Michoacána Members Sentenced To More Than 400 Years

A federal judge sentenced two alleged members of the Familia Michoacána for the crimes of organized crime, illegal deprivation of liberty, kidnapping and homicide

The Attorney General's Office (FGR) managed to get a federal judge to impose a conviction of more than 409 years in prison on two alleged members of the Familia Michoacána for the crimes of organized crime, illegal deprivation of liberty, kidnapping and homicide.

In the first case, a conviction of 409 years in prison was obtained against Nabor N, for his participation in the events of November 16, 2009, in which seven elements of the Federal Police and one member of the Federal Police were deprived of their liberty, kidnapping against another victim, kidnapping and murder against another civilian in Ciudad Hidalgo, Michoacán, as well as in the kidnapping of a victim, which occurred in Zitácuaro, Michoacán.

After various legal procedures, the judge in the case issued a conviction for the crimes of organized crime, hypotheses of kidnapping, illegal deprivation of liberty in the form of kidnapping to the detriment of seven people, kidnapping to the detriment of another victim, kidnapping and homicide to the detriment of another civilian.

In a second case, a conviction was handed down against Francisco N, alias “Bigotes”, detained in 2010 between the La Mira highway section and the town of San Juan Bosco, Lázaro Cárdenas municipality, Michoacán by elements of the Federal Police at the time he was carrying weapons and narcotics.

The FGR charged him with organized crime (the purpose of committing crimes against health, with management functions); carrying a weapon for the exclusive use of the Army, and the various against health modality of possession of cocaine for sale, imposing a total penalty of 23 years in prison.

Both are charged with belonging to the criminal organization La Familia Michoacana.

  2. Cough cough, so what? There are countless like them roaming free in Mexico. Sentences like these only demonstrates what happens to criminals in Mexico who lose their power to bribe.

    1. Hummmmmm.. sentence is 400 years, let me see the average person lives to be 95. So his body will rot in the cell, then at 300 years in the cell he will be dust, but the at 400 the dust will be put in a jar and given to any living relative.

    Even his old bag doesn't care if he gets out, if he gets smart she gets to see spousal visitations and prison guards to spice shit up, and maybe a peso here and there.
