Tampico, Tamaulipas: The Gulf Cartel Releases A Narco Message

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

In recent days the Gulf Cartel (CDG) has uploaded onto social media a photo of their directive for the state of Tamaulipas. At this moment no further details have been released concerning this narco tarp.

However, the drug trafficking organizations of Mexico have been known to disseminate their communiques on social media to announce their presence within a specified area.

Narco message reads as follows:

To all the citizens of the state, we hereby inform you that as of today, July 19, we agreed to a truce of peace. And we stand in solidarity with the people. Along with coherent principles and ideologies to generate peace.

We also have a family and we will dedicate ourselves to what really concerns us in our company. The first thing is that the civilians who have our presence within their territories feel safe with it without any concern, signaling peace between us.

In addition to strengthening the union of our drug corridors. Demonstrating above all that the Gulf Cartel has principles. Our highest priority is the tranquility of the state and the welfare of the citizens. In honor of the comrades who fell in the war.

And in a show of respect as well as the solidarity that we have for all the people in general.

Long live peace in Tamaulipas. Sincerely, Bosses of the Gulf Cartel.

    1. Is cdg still backed by Zambada's crew?

      Delete
    2. 3:15 not anymore, zambadas crew wasnt really backing cdg, they were more like using cdg as a shield so cdg would fight cjng, but cjng told cdg they would fight side by side and cdg choosed cjng, thats what happened

    3. @MX does CDG conduct any business with Sinaloa?

    4. @9:44 no, sinaloa works with CDN

  2. Interesting, thanks for sharing! It’s been a while since we heard about CDG Tampico.

Tampico and Matamoros have had a truce for years, but Primito/Metros being in the mix is new. I wonder if ZVE is in this as well, especially the northern Veracruz factions.

There’s an old school capo about to be released from prison. Relative of Osiel Cardenas, with ties to Tampico (won’t spoil the name). Word on the streets is he will work with Hector de Leon Fonseca, alias "Mario Gonzalez Martinez", "R3", "Teto", and/or "Chenco".

    1. Supongo que sí, sería lo mejor para la ZVE

      Delete
    2. I wouldn't be shocked if ZVE got on board, as I believe they have had business with Matamoros for a while. But also the fighting has to end at some point, they must get exhausted by it and the constant threat of death.

Let's hope the truce between Metros & Matamoros lasts! Far too much bloodshed for everyone involved, innocents and otherwise.

      Delete
    3. if my memory doesn't fail me, ZVE lider El Pawa was working with Metros. ZVE has always been okay with Tampico, which means they are cool with Matamoros as well... with the recent CDN pushes in La Frontera Chica I wouldn't suspect a ZVE-Metros-Ciclones-Escorpiones alliance. Makes sense. ZVE comes from the old Zetas core under Osiel. CDN was all Trevinos.

      Delete
    4. 9:44 - Correct, El Pawa is working with Metros/Primitos. I believe the ZVE-Tampico alliance comes through Omar Lormendez Pitalua AKA El Pita, who has ties to Matamoros (ex-wife and whatnot). El Pita was an operative under Z-1 and Z-3.

    5. What makes you think they’ve had a truce for years that’s not correct at all. Some of you talk like you know so much and it’s so wrong lol.

      Delete
    6. 11:49 - Care to elaborate? Matamoros and Tampico have had a truce for years. When the CDG infighting started, Metros under X20 turned against Matamoros (under Homero Cardenas and other Ciclones). CDG del Sur, under K14 and others, allied with Matamoros.

    7. @11:49AM

MX is one of the most knowledgeable people here, I have not known him to make comments without adequate prior research.

Besides, Matamoros-Tampico alliance has been well documented here at BB. Most of that info is lost now, as it was typically posted on the 'Current Events in the Gulf Cártel' threads.

Perhaps you are mistaking Tampico for Reynosa or something, as that would obviously be a different story.

    1. Agree with 8:29. I think by now nobody believes their rhetoric. It's broken record time. Kind of like the highly over used word, "Purge"...

    2. #8:29 I agree too, it's a bunch of hogwash, they come to clean the town of of criminals, when they themselves are criminals. They are beginning to sound like politicians.

    3. Well I disagree and I have my reasons I have good information that Jesus is involved and a certain creator Im not gonna name names is finally opening the books and will start to answer prayers but as far as your thoughts go its prbly not gonna happen . And the Gulf Cartel will change their name to The Benevolent Association of former Dickhead pos motherfuckers . And everyone in the USA can prepare for a drug party like weve never ever seen before now that everyone is playing nice in Mexico we can consume drugs without having to feel guilt because of a bloodbath that technically has nothing to do with us and everything to do with greedy mother fuckers that dont know how to work together . lol
I love the future and remember God loves you and wants you to be safe and well...Well funded with US dollars for poisoning those over privileged gringos who deserve the best misery a thriving third world can throw at them with the help of a chineese pos goverment eager to destroy a nations youth hiding in the back ground like cowardly little rodents .

    1. I believe "SC" is short for Scorpion (also known as Escorpiones). If XIX is 19, maybe it means "Escorpion 19"?

      Delete
    2. @Mx- could it be that SC-19 is actually Maxiley "El Max/Z-19" Barahona Nadales? i think he's ZVE. maybe he flipped?

      Delete
    3. 12:20 - 🤔 I don't have any notes on an "Escorpion 19", so cannot confirm who they may be. I'll wait to see if anyone else can confirm. But if ZVE is confirmed of having ties to CDG Tampico, then Z-19 is there.

    4. @Toon_World - La Kena from Valle Hermoso was also Alacran 2 too, correct?

@Nikechecks - Thought Senor Cortez/Contador was Escorpion 1? Not that it means anything because there was another Escorpion 1: Sergio Antonio Fuentes AKA El Tyson.

      Delete
    5. Cortéz tiene años muerto, pueden charolear con su nombre y clave pero para que? Ni Pezón charolea con esa clave, ni con la de Jr. C2

Es la Kena 19 el que anda ufanandose en esa lona.

      Delete
    6. What happened to the real Senor Cortez? He swore revenge on Los Metros after C2 was killed then he seemed to disappear. He was considered a old school capo back when Mellado Z-9 was calling all the shots.

      Delete

    5. Wait so how serious is this truce if the banner is just in Tampico i wouldve thought they place one in each of the plazas mentioned right?

      Delete
    6. @ billy they placed several “mantas” in several northern Mexican towns .

      Delete
    7. From my understanding a few of these mantas were also hung in SLP, so to me that indicates that they are very much a part of the Tamaulipas CDG and not their own thing like some comadres on here want to indicate. I do not understand those that want to make up or start rumors nor those that have or think a certain thing and want to state it as fact when in reality is a baseless opinion. That's what it is, an opinion so do not speak on it as fact please. It would be highly appreciated.

    2. There's no indication that he will be back to Mexico. His US indictment does not stipulate removal from US territory after his sentence (unlike other CDG bosses mentioned in the same indictment).

Osiel gave valuable information to US authorities and I think he will enter Witness Protection a few months before his release or upon his release.

      Delete
    3. Valuable information from 20+ years ago. I doubt anyone from CDG is left alive or active from that time to get retribution.

  25. Aljazeera picked up this story today 7/27, which I suppose the border gangs are hooting about since they are making the big time internationally. With their drug induced egos, I'll bet they muck it up. And let us not forget the insult to humanity at Reynosa recently; Metros and others should be tried in international court for crimes against humanity, this supposed pact of peace does not lend to forgiving them. And the pact of course is only because their bottom line is hurting; we know they don't give a damn about peace.

You must be an old hippie flower child; yeah, peace, whatever.
